With pillows perfectly reset, Alice stood up from the futon and brushed herself of. She always brushed herself off when she stood up, no matter how long she had been sitting there or where she had been sitting. Who knows what kind of things could have settled on her clothes while she was sitting? Not to mention wrinkles! Ugh she hated wrinkles. They made everything unperfect. She dreaded the day that when her skin would start to wrinkle. She would have to iron her skin. Wrinkles was one thing she could not handle.

Andy's balcony. Another thing she could not handle. No matter how hard she tried to push it out of her mind, it kept creeping back up. She couldn't help it anymore. That mess just had to go. Her hand was already placed on the handle to her balcony door. It was like her body knew what needed to be done before her brain could even catch up. Or perhaps her body just knew what her brain was going to decide? She shook it off. That stuff did not matter right now. Right now the only thing that really matter, was that awful mess.

The sun was beat against Alice's bright yellow hoodie as she found herself on her balcony again. She need to clean that atrocity next door, but how? It's not like that recluse would let her in his apartment and with the shape his balcony was in it's not like she even wanted to see what kind of cataclysmic state it was in. So here she was, standing on the edge of her balcony and staring at his. The gap wasn't to far, was it? "Gahhh!" She stifled a scream of desperation with a cottony sleeve covered hand. She had seen Cat do all kinds of crazy things, he had just run up the side of the wall so...so how hard would one little jump be? Air out her nose as she sighed again. There was always the original 'Fuck No' answer her neighbor had given her to start out with. Maybe he wanted his balcony dirty.

Alice laughed to herself. Of course he didn't want a dirty balcony! Who would? She was just being a good neighbor and helping him out. With this revelation she carefully pulled herself onto the metal railing, and though a little wobble, managed to balance on it. She was faced with the original problem. Could she even make this jump? She glanced down at the ground below her as her vision got a little blurry. "Well I'm only on the second floor." She tried to reassure herself. "It's not like I would die if I fell." Wait, would she die? Cat did this kind of thing plenty of times. She even saw the mute girl do things like this too. It seemed safe when they did them.

Alas she was not them and found herself in another dilemma.

"all your pokemon are awesome, I hope I get a cool one like you all that would be cool. I want a strong one like your guys' that way I can win any fight" the boy said looking over the glaceon. It was a very beautiful creature with sophisticated look to it, he could tell it had power and potential mixing into a grand fighter. Flint was surprisingly lacking in pokemon experiance. He had worked with pokemon like machoke and machop or timburr but only pokemon who come to help people. He had seem them out in the streets or with other people but he would never have time to go out and look at them.

Lylah threw out her skitty. The pink cat appeared beside buneary. "These are all the pokemon I have" she smiled at her pokemon. Skitty had been with her since she was a child and buneary came along not to long ago. But already they were all pretty close. It seemed like they had now each other their hole lives.

Rumi noticed Glaceon calmly staring back at Flint while swishing his tail from side to side, as if he was analyzing Flint as well. "I'm sure you'll get a good Pokemon too," she gave a small smile and a nod of reassurance. "Any Pokemon can be strong."

She briefly remembered the teachings of her father who was once considered an Elite Trainer. He taught her a lot about battling and Pokemon, and was the reason why she had the passion for learning how other Trainers fought, how they synchronized with their Pokemon to achieve victory.

The sound of another Pokemon being brought out caught her attention, and Rumi turned to find a Skitty. Her eyes seemed to sparkle a bit as she said, "That's a Skitty, right? I've never seen one in person before... It's cute."

flint felt himself being sized up by the icy pokemon, his body remained firm as he walked. The skitty seemed harmless but he knew that probably had more potential that it let off.The words from his friend to the side were invigorating but only brought his desire for a pokemon to a larger rank on his list of wants. He wondered why his father or mother gave him a pokemon, they probably didn't have any to begin with truthfully but they could have gotten one some how for sure.

Flint noticed a boy and his pokemon eating and smiled at the surprise to see they hadn't found all the pokemon trainers who were leaving already.

"It's cool Verge", Tanis smiled, then decided on bring out her Blastoise. "I'll properly introduce these two. This is Shellshock, my Blastoise and my very first pokemon as well." Said Blastoise grabbed Tanis and decided to carry her around, following the group and their pokemon. "I came from the Kanto Region, and started moving from region to region. Shellshock here is actually very sweet and protective as well, ever since he was a cute little Squirtle. Lucario I gotten from the Sinnoh Region from one of my friends, who gave his egg to me after he bred the egg. Lucario has a strong sense of justice and doesn't like any kind of fighting except for pokemon battles...and he gets embarrassed when being called cute or cool", she smiled. "Everyone's pokemon here are all cool and strong too, or even have the potential to be strong! Would like to have pokemon battles with you all one day. But of course, I did agree to one after we all rest up at the Pokemon Center."

Seeing everyone else introducing all their Pokemon, Rumi fumbled with her satchel, "O-Oh, I should properly introduce all of mine as well..." Her fingers brushed against a smooth surface, and she took out the Pokeball that contained Tyrunt. She clicked the button, opening the Pokeball and bringing out Tyrunt. The Pokemon looked back at her, bewildered, before noticing that he was in the middle of a large group and hurriedly ran to hide behind Rumi. With a laugh, Rumi turned back to the group, "But anyways..."

Rumi directed towards Glaceon, "Like I've already said, I met Glaceon when he was an Eevee. He was my first Pokemon. Tyrunt, on the other hand," she ushered the hidden Pokemon to step forward, giving him an encouraging pat on the back, "I got from when my parents and I traveled to the Kalos region. I found his fossil, and it was restored not too long ago, so he's still new to the world." Finishing it off with a small bow of her head, Rumi introduced herself, "And, I don't think I've said it yet, but my name is Sachiyo Rumi. You can call me Rumi. It's nice to meet you all."

All her initial shyness towards the group had dissipated, and she was looking forward to continue travelling with them

Just Beneath the Skin

The suns golden rays crept through the window, prying through the slightly tattered shades of a some-what decent house. The blinds where pure and white and minus the occasional broken piece, seemed in pristine condition. A large white cat jumped onto the seal of the window and crushed a few more of the white slats. Soon a set of small, pale, and slightly boney hands dug them selves into the creature warm fur. "Hey Snow." A gentle voice scowled. "You are ruining my blinds."

The owner of the voice was a petite woman named Lilah Burgoti. Her face showed more youth than she had, even though she was still quite young, and was partially covered by thin wisps of ,recently dyed, red hair. Her face was as pale as her hands, the sea of white broken up by scattered light tan freckles that underlined her multicolored eyes. Oh yes, her multicolored eyes. They were the one thing about her appearance that she prided in. A light sky blue around the edge met with a burst of golden yellow and scattered flakes of emerald green. She loved her eyes. The bony hands lightly tossed the cat to the white carpeted ground as honk rang from outside. "Thank goodness" She smiled.

She skipped outside and was met by a face similar to hers but slightly older and with solid blue eyes. "Hey!" She breathed and with a quick pass off of keys she slide into the strangers car. The car roared to life and she peeled out of the drive and headed down the road. She watched as the clouds rolled over the hood of her car as it skipped across black pavement. She pulled the car into a familiar shop and slammed the door of her car. She opened the door to the store and gave a big wave. "Hey Si!" She smiled cheerfully. "Hey Sadie" She said with quiet enthusiasm. She scuffled over to the dog and gave her a good scratch behind both of her ears. "How are you doing?!"
