BACKSTORY & MOTIVATION
Vikkar stands at an imposing 6’7”. While this may seem tall compared to an average Human, he was quite short compared to the members of his order. His armor, iron-black and decorated with ornate design, is attached to his flesh and cannot be opened without seriously injuring Vikkar, as most of his movements are enhanced by it. But if someone were able to see under that outer shell, they would catch a glimpse of a man who had fallen long ago. Sickly skin covers hard muscle, and whatever face he once had is now a disfigured mess.

BACKSTORY & MOTIVATION
Vikkar was raised by the Carolus family in ancient Europe, around the area in what would today be considered as Sweden. From age five, he was trained to be part of the Carolus elite: The Black Iron Knights. These warriors were legends in their own right, mainly due to their armor: A suit of heavy iron which was permanently fitted to a man once he was chosen and knighted. The strongest of them all would be crowned as the leader of the order.
Vikkar was one of these knights, but there was a problem. He was always a sickly child, and it carried with him into adulthood. He stood no match against the others, who were physically superior. However, he was himself superior in other ways, ambition being one of them. If he couldn’t win in an honorable bout, he would sabotage his opponent somehow, whether it be poisoning their food or throwing sand, which interfered with the joints in their armor. Long story short, he became the “rightful” leader of his order.
Conquest followed shortly after. Vikkar cared not for the bothersome codes of Chivalry, as he thought they interfered with more pragmatic matters. In fact, he sees honor as a weakness rather than a strength. It may have been one of the reasons why he nearly conquered the entire European continent. Over time however, his fellow knights became disgruntled with his leadership, and decided to deal with it themselves.
Due to their code of honor, the Iron Knights were not allowed to kill one another under any circumstances. So instead of ending Vikkar’s life, they ended his reign by forcing him into a magical coffin, which kept him alive for generations upon generations.
Now, he awakes in a world full of “wonders and blunders”, as he puts it. Seeing the technological achievements of the modern world fascinates him, but the dismal state of its people disappoints him greatly. With his old order gone, he seeks to conquer once again, but first he must become strong.

WEAKNESSES & LIMITS
Vikkar is a close-range fighter. That is all. He has literally no tools for dealing with ranged opponents, besides running towards them. God help him if they can fly. Vikkar is also weak to sand and similar materials, being that it gets into the joints of his armor, slowing him down.
The Black Iron Knights were not foolhardy with their training; they understood the need to balance a good offense and defense. Although Vikkar may not have been the strongest of the knights, he embodies their fighting style perfectly, while throwing in his own devious machinations. “Up close and personal” is his bread and butter, and though his attacks lack an overwhelming force, they come out stupendously fast, like a boxer’s punches.
On the offensive side, his fighting style consists of ruthlessly accurate strikes, designed to end fights using the least amount of energy possible. On the defensive, he seeks to protect himself while also redirecting the heat of combat back towards his opponent. He also has his full suit of black iron armor.

SPECIAL MOVES & TECHNIQUES
■ The Flash
Using his Ki, Vikkar delivers an impressively fast strike, his fist moving faster than most can blink. Using this, he hopes to catch his opponent off guard and open them up for a combo.
■ Watch The Eyes!
Vikkar jabs at his opponent’s eyes with his fingers, hoping to render them blind. If he connects, the opponent is blind for 7 seconds.
■ Sore Throat
Vikkar aims a Ki-enhanced blow at his opponent’s throat, hoping to crush his opponent’s windpipe, and in doing so make their oxygen intake suffer. If it connects, the opponent will struggle to do anything besides use their most basic means of attack and defense for seven seconds.
■ The Death Touch
There is a very specific pressure point near the neck of Humans and related humanoids. When hit precisely, it causes temporary paralysis of the victim, lasting for about seven seconds. Of course, a move like this requires the target to be nearly still, as the point is difficult to hit.
■ Riposte
Vikkar deflects an attack from his opponent, leaving them open to a counterattack.
■ Ki Block
Vikkar resorts to a full-on block, using his ki to form a powerful protective shield directly in front of him that is able to deflect all bust the most powerful attacks.
■ Ki Protection
Vikkar uses his Ki to form a barrier that coats his armor, allowing him to withstand one attack without being staggered. This does not remove damage from the attack, but rather makes sure that Vikkar can connect his own attack at the same time his opponent connects theirs.
SUPER MOVES
■ Adrenal Rush
Vikkar receives a hefty dose of adrenaline from his armor, making him fight with reckless abandon, simply ignoring pain that doesn’t remove limbs. Lasts for a minute, cannot use special abilities for 45 seconds afterwards.
■ The Legacy of Iron
Calling upon the Ki of his long-fallen order, Vikkar focuses all of his Ki into a single, precise punch that can run through a six-inch thick chunk of iron.
■ Calculated Aggression
Vikkar receives a hefty adrenaline dose from his armor, but instead of rushing in berserk-like, he conserves the energy, attacking only when his opponent attacks him, focusing on deadly counter-strikes. Lasts a minute, cannot use special abilities for 45 seconds.
