Eyes: Big dark brown(almost black) eyes, her eyes are very expressive and is by far her favourite feature about herself.

Style: She has a very casual style preferring to put comfort and practicality above all else. When she’s not in her uniform, her closet tends to exist mostly out of soft sweaters, hoodies and comfortable shirts. She also prefers to wear jeans and a pair of sturdy brown leather boots. She also wears and old golden locket underneath her clothes that used to belong to her grandmother.

Tattoos/Piercings: Her ears are pierced and she wears a pair of small golden studs.

Marks/Scars: She has various small scars on her hands, arms and legs from when her clumsiness had gotten the best of her and there is a beauty mark on the back of her neck.

Lara had always been a diligent worker and a serious and quiet individual when it came down to her studies, that and her strong respect for the rules had made her rather well-liked among her teachers causing them to trust her with various odd-jobs. It also didn’t hurt that she had a very bright mind and tended to do well in most of her classes.

She is also very rational and practical, which are excellent qualities to have when thinking up solutions to problems or planning the most efficient approach to doing homework or studying for exams. In spite of that side of her though, she’s also the type of person who could daydream for hours on end and who adores the feeling of being transported to a different reality by a good book. Reading and writing stories, is a passion of hers, a way for her to let go and just be. You can often find her in the library curled up with the newest book in a series she loves or scribbling down plot-ideas and character studies.

When she isn’t in the library, however, she’s usually in one of the classrooms helping out teachers, she especially enjoys helping Hagrid, getting to interact with magical creatures is an experience she’ll never get tired of writing home about. She can also be quite stubborn and headstrong when the situation calls for it. If something is against her moral code, it’ll take nothing short of the apocalypse to get her to take part in it.

Unfortunately, her popularity with teachers doesn’t extend to her peers. Them seeing her as a teacher’s pet and mistaking her quiet and serious nature as her thinking that she’s better than them. It doesn’t help that while she is mostly comfortable with the teachers, the thought of having to interact with her peers makes her anxious, making her mind immediately list everything about herself that she sees as inadequate and causes her to fear that they would think of her as weird.

As such she tends to spend most of her time alone, not that she minds, alone time is rather pleasant and she doesn’t have to worry about saying or doing the right things when she’s alone, but now and then she has to admit that it might be nice to have a friend.

Luckily she didn’t remain there long though and a few months after her first birthday she was officially adopted by a lovely middle-class couple, Lou and Francine Donner. Lou was a history teacher at the local high-school and Francine was a librarian, neither of them could have children of their own, so they were overjoyed to welcome Lara into their lives, trying their best to give her everything she could possibly need. They were a happy family regardless of whether or not they were actually related and the only large tragedy Lara could say she ever experienced was when her gran died at the age of 89.

When her Hogwarts letter arrived, everyone was shocked and Lara was more than a little terrified that her parents wouldn’t want her anymore, but luckily that wasn’t the case as Lou and Francine proved to be more than accepting and agreed to let her attend the school, under Lou’s condition that she wont make any weird concoctions in the kitchen or turn anybody into toads of course.

Overjoyed and more than a little excited at the prospect of more or less living a book, Lara threw herself into her studies, determined to be the best witch she could be in order to show her gratitude to both her parents for supporting her and the school itself for giving her this opportunity and while that made her rather popular among the faculty, her social life unfortunately seemed to suffer for it.

Now that she’s in her fifth year, she finally worked up the courage to join her first clubs after several prompts from her parents to remember that making friends are important. Hopefully she wont regret her decision.

Subjects:

Transfigurations=E
She loves transfiguration and doesn't find it too hard most times, however when asked to transfigure animals...her reluctance tends to make for the occasional interesting result.

Herbology=E/A
She's not bad at Herbology, and she tends to love learning about all types of magical plant-life, but plants are unpredictable at times and she doesnt have the greenest thumb, so her success in the subject tends to vary in spite of her best efforts.

Charms=O/E
She is a good student in charms and usually does great in them.

Potions=O
If there is one class that she loves, its potions. She just has a knack for them and loves experimenting every now and then to see whether or not a small tweak here or a different ingredient there would give her a better result, which it does for the most part, partly due to her taking a lot of safety measures and doing a lot of research before doing them.

Care of Magical Creatures=O
Best class ever! No if's and or buts about it! She will crush anyone in an intense verbal battle if they say otherwise, theoretically of course, she hates confrontation.

History of Magic=O
She wont deny that it can be beyond boring when Binns gives it, but that doesn't mean that it can't be interesting! She really enjoys learning more about the heritage of the wizarding world.

Defence Against the Dark Arts=A
She struggles a bit with combative magic, which drags her grades down a bit... It's just, her reluctance to actually hurt anybody translates into her magic a bit.

Arithmancy=O
She works hard and understands the concepts well, so she does well in it. Other than that, she only finds it okay at best...

Study of Ancient Runes=E
Learning how to read and understand runes older than her grandparents is something that she finds endlessly fascinating and enjoys greatly.

Divination=A/P
She took it because it sounded interresting. Does she regret her choice? Yes. Does she manage to pass by making up some weird death-prediction for someone on the spot? Also yes.

She can see threstals due to being at her grandmother’s bedside when she passed, she is left-handed, favourite colour is green, the hat took exactly 4 and a half minutes to sort her, she doesn’t really enjoy Quiditch due to her not trusting the brooms in the slightest and though she gets reasonably good marks, it is by no means because she is some kind of prodigy, she earned those marks through hard work and hard work alone. The only reason she wasn't chosen as a prefect is because the teachers are well aware of her discomfort in social situations and because she asked not to be considered.

Relationships

Jaxon Chaucer: Lara never expected that she would become friends with the arrogant but brilliant boy, but after she walked in on him having a panic attack her favourite saying of never judging a book by its cover proved to be true once again. She found a good housemate, loyal friend and a great study-partner in Jaxon. She really cares about him and wants to do whatever she can to be there for him, especially during one of his attacks.

Damian Griffin:Lara has never interacted with her fellow Ravenclaw before, but he seems like a friendly enough person from what she can tell, if only extremely lax where his studies are concerned…

James Dalton: She knows that he's a prefect for Gryffindor and on the Quidditch team...that's it...

Elspeth Macbain: All of Lara's knowledge of the Slytherin is mostly from hearsay, but if what both the faculty and other students have to say about the girl is true, than she brings a whole new meaning to the word ambitious. It wouldn't come as a surprise if she gets chosen for head-girl if she really is as intelligent and hard-working as people say.

Miley Witherspoon: Though she hasn't really interacted with her fellow Ravenclaw at all, Lara can't help but be fascinated by Miley's abilities as a metamorphmagus and wants to learn more about how they work. She also admires her housemate's friendly and energetic nature.

Elliot Forrester: She's seen the Gryffindor play Quidditch a few times, but other than the fact that she finds it impressive that neither he nor anybody else fell off of those death-sticks she doesn't really have an opinion of him.

Thomas Korevny: So far, Lara has been lucky enough to avoid any run-ins with the Slyherin, so she tries to reserve judgement, but from what she's observed so far...she doesn't think they'll get along.

Halle Moore: Lara hasn't ever talked to the Huffelpuff, but she cant help but admire the girl's friendly disposition and ability to make friends and cant help but feel a little envious of it.

Brady James: Having personally never interacted with the quiet Huffelpuff, her own hesitation when it comes to meeting new people partly to blame, there isn't much Lara can say about Brady. She had noticed him taking a few remedial classes while running errands for the teachers, and she thinks that he's on the Quidditch team, but that's where her knowledge of him ends.

Piper Ward: Never talked to her, but according to others she is surprisingly nice for a Slytherin.

Hi, this guild looks like a really cool and fun place! I hope that we'll all get along well!

I first started role-playing casually online when a friend from a tmnt fanfiction website approached me with an offer. I really enjoyed it and decided to branch off into other subjects as well. Since I started in 2014, I have grown immensely in my writing skills and I believe that I can provide a stimulating rp-experience with the right partner/s. Personally, I prefer long rp's with well thought-out responses. I am open to any topic, smut excluded.

My strengths includes strong spelling, good grammar and punctuation. My weaknesses so-far are mostly writing action/fight scenes, horror and nation rp's, mostly due to inexperience in those specific fields, which I intend to work on.

I am also almost 19, a first year in college and my hobbies include reading, sleeping and writing.

I look forward to future rp's with you!
