Hi there I'm Rultaos, or simply Rult as some of my friends call me. I first got into RP'ing on two different sites back when I was in High School. The forums of the games Minecraft and Spiral Knights. Both had game-related RP's, as well as off-topic ones regarding fantasy and sci-fi. This was around 3-4 years ago. I wasn't really good at it back then, but I met a lot of great people and feel like I really improved since then.
For any of you who are curious, this was one of my biggest RP undertakings before I got into this site (My username also comes from this as a tribute to it!). It's not really a very well-written roleplay (or a very well-managed one for that matter). But it really meant a lot to me because of how far it went, how long it survived, and how it inspired my fellow players there. It always fills me with a sense of nostalgia whenever I glance at it in my bookmarks...
I got into RPGuild back when it was still using the old server (the one that got taken down after Mahz got behind on his pay and the providers ended their service without warning). I was pretty bummed when this happened because I was already actively participating in a number of roleplays, and I could only stay in contact with a select few guildmates on the Facebook group. Eventually, the long wait was over, and the site was given renewed life after a few bumps in the road that guildmaster Mahz faced in his attempts to resurrect this place. It was a good day for many including myself when this site slowly started getting more and more features.
2014 was my second year in college and was a very stressful time for me. Mostly concerning academics, with a few occasional problems regarding friends and fellow students alike. Because of this, I had to suddenly drop out of roleplaying for a while in order to have the time to get my real life back in order.
Now, I've returned to the site, and am hoping to get back into the groove of roleplaying and make more great friends and have even greater adventures through whatever huge universe your brilliant minds can think of! If you wanna invite me to play, or even just have a friendly chat about anything, send a message my way and I'll reply as soon as I can =)
For those of you who are wondering, my roleplay interests include: Sci-Fi, Military, sometimes Fantasy, a Fandom one if I'm familiar with the source material, heck I'd be willing to dabble in an Apocalypse setting as well. I'm also willing to try new things as well if it seems fascinating enough. So hit me up with an idea any time and I'd be happy to share my thoughts with you.

Just a quick update after 4 days of silence: The IC opening is being worked on now. And while it may not be finished on the exact deadline Nariata gave, it should be up relatively soon =)

Though the only criticism I have to give is that the numbers and "zerg-rushing" are FAR too exaggerated for what I intended XD. These infected don't group together and swarm as often as zombies do. They often just appear together in packs (mostly 4-8 infected together). Though the sound of the speakers will probably draw different packs together (besides, infected only come from people who survive their wounds after being cannibalized, so there will be a lot more dead people than infected people). So having numbers amounting to a "crowd" or "swarm" in one place is a rarity for infected.
But considering the city-wide speakers activating and Mr Smiley's dinner-bell tingling, I could see a swarm like that forming
. I'm just saying this so it doesn't happen too often in your posts. They are hunters after all, who don't just randomly wander, gather, and chase. They can easily stay silent and hidden when they are not alerted, waiting for any unlucky prey who sets off their senses.

If part of one is cut off, like a limb or their head, and is put back before they regrow that piece, would the piece reattach?
Depends on how long its been separated. If it was very recently the two pieces would work together to re-attach. If it's already been quite a while, it will grow a new one instead of re-attaching and the old one becomes a discarded body part with no function other than to rot in the streets.

If something is obstructing a bodily function, they would forcibly eject it by shifting around the body in a way as to remove the the obstruction.
As for suffocation... As I said, they would eventually manage to remove the obstruction, whatever it is, but they may go dormant for a bit while the body works on removing it depending on how long they go without breathing. If they were chasing something when their nose and eyes were covered, they will use their ears to track down their prey while the body works on removing whatever is blocking their other senses.
For drowning... Their body would eject the intruding water from their system as they float up to the surface of the water due to their density. They can also swim, although clumsily. If there is no surface to the water (like a completely flooded room) then it will have the same effect as setting them on fire (where the fire will continuously be fueled by the regenerating skin and organs), and they will constantly remain dormant. However, they will reawaken quickly as soon as their body is freed from the water-filled environment..

Well, you've written quite a good post for someone who's new to it (just a few typos here and there, but nothing else I can see wrong). So I'd say you're pretty good XD. Just gotta learn how to make use of this site's functions.
Ah, grimdarkenigma, I think the problem with the picture is that you tried to use it while it was saved from your PC. The site doesn't handle that, it needs to be uploaded and then the exact URL of the photo is the one used to show it on the post.
Err... Sorry about that? XD. No rush though, I don't want to make this RP too fast for anybody =)
Umm... is the Picture of his Persona broken for anyone else? Because I'm not seeing it
I will be looking forward to that indeed =). I will also look forward to how he shall affect the coming plot, and the role he will play in it. He's added to the list, now. I also added a new rule stating that if one of you guys will be inactive or busy for a while, to let me know in the OOC so we know if we should slow down for you or not.
@|V|asterJay: Hell yes, I'm going to accept that! :D. That's a great CS and a very smart way of creating his insane persona while keeping it within the theme I was going for. Adding to the list now.
