Ryan smirked, knowing he would cook it. He stepped to the side, beginning to prepare it as they mentioned binge grinding. "Heh... Only a fool would do something like that..." He said this, but inside, he figured he might actually do it... He didn't exactly count himself as anything other than a fool anyway. He smirked, glancing to Raven who had made such a huge deal about it, as well as the cooking. "Come on, he's not that bad... Just because I gag at the thought even now..." He turned his head away from the food he was preparing, gagged, then returned to his original position "Doesn't mean he can't cook..." He smirked directly at Cash for a moment before looking back at the food, which, because of this game's cooking system, was ready to cook... All he really had to do up until now was simply tap it with different tools for cooking. Now, he had to use heat though, and, since inn rooms didn't come standard with an oven, he had to go downstairs to the lobby to use the inn's own fire-powered oven. He proceeded to put it in, making sure to thank the innkeeper for letting him use it. A short time afterward he would come back up with the food, having made sure to cook all of it so him, as well as all of his friends, could eat it. "Alright, since we are all up here, we get to eat first, and the ones outside get to find out later." He said with a smirk before setting the pot down on the table and getting some plates from the innkeeper, handing one to each of his fellows upstairs. "Unless of course, you want to wait for everyone else... Though, they don't seem to be coming up here too quickly."
And for the record guys, I'm sure I posted yesterday... I remember responding to the binge-grinding thing... My internet had been being really weird at the time though, so I guess it must have not sent through that I posted it, I sincerely apologize to any who may have been waiting on me to post, I am hereby pushing all of my blame to my odd internet that should have less or no issues from this point forward

you people are such a jolly fooking help XD

Oh right, right... You meant to us in particular, right? We all died, everyone's gone...

Oh wait... The RP!? lol, well, people walked up to the second floor, there'll be a party for those in the legion of light, and Ryan is going to host a small gathering for his group (and some extras) to talk about creating their own guild, where you have to be able to trust your allies so that they can try to avoid deaths as much as possible

wont make any more post till later in the day, soooooo

I think you forgot that Ryan has his cooking skill pretty high in the IC, lol, Ryan was basically offering to cook it. I'll wait for one more post before I post and explain that IC though
I was under the impression that the girl was saying what she had quietly enough for none of the others to hear, seeing as it IS a plot and all, rather than a well-known plan... Idk, Wraithblade might be right in thinking she let everyone know though, Soul, I'll wait for you to say before I do anything

*shakes hand* So does the group want to know why Mason is such a hard ass via RP?

'twould be a good thing to know, might cause some emotional connection that allows us to lay off the character himself a little bit, ya know?
Ryan looked around at a few of the people that got his message, before getting ready to head back inside. He figured Cash would want to talk to at least one of them, but then he saw Raven wave to someone that seemed new, and walk up before he did. Seeing a friend with two people he'd never met before... That made him think back to when the group had first really started. When he had gone over to talk to Karen to find out that she had no use of her legs in the real world, only to end up grouping up with some of the others there. Is that what's happening this time? We're getting more allies that might die...? I hope they don't end up like Karen... He decided the small group would do fine without him, and he simply headed up to the room where they were all meant to sleep that night. "Hey Raven, hey Cash... We should eat after having taken down that boss... It wasn't an easy feat... I already have some ox meat, and since it's higher level, I'd bet it tastes great." He spoke with an almost false happiness. He was slightly happy right now, but the sorrow from Karen's death still loomed over him.

You just always have to drab the OP card in somehow. You think experience doesn't outweigh anything? You obviously haven't see a drill sergeant then. I'm say what sense would it be for his character to hate a ranking systems that HE thought was okay enough to join the service? I'm not saying rank instantly decided the winner am I? I said that it should matter for Dash's character, it only makes sense. Also, you've constantly been up my ass about the OP thing, I haven't even begun to do anything that would set off a signal like that. I'd leave the fight up to RPing too. So far there haven't been any in fights besides verbal. I strongly doubt Seth would win just by putting all of the training he's had in comparison to the training Mason has had.

Relax, Stry, I wasn't saying "Oh, you're being OP," I was just pointing out that you mentioned your experience and it SOUNDED like you thought you'd win... I just want to avoid any conflicts like happened with mina in the "oh waiter" RP where a fight broke out over simple wording, though, that seems to be what happened here... Relax Stry, remember before you left for a while? You know I have nothing against you, and... You should know that I only say something if I've seen it cause an issue, please just stay calm, and take what I have to say as constructive criticism unless I get very obviously mad, in which case, I sincerely apologize for anything I might say... I'm just saying that to avoid the idea that others think you're trying to say you're OP, don't mention anything about who has more experience in a battle kind of sense, or who would win or anything of the sort... Especially if you are actually right, because then the other RPer may see fit to prove you wrong, or may simply accept it and get less enjoyment from the RP

He isn't an asshole(well he has to be, he's an NCO), he's just treating this situation like being downrange(deployed) because essentially having a serious straightforward attitude is needed. If Seth really is a soldier and from what it seems, probably just a Specialist then he should be listening to Mason. Whether he likes it or not, he's the guy that'll make sure he doesn't die, he even tried being nice to him in the beginning o.O, he just blew him off like an asshole. But what I'm getting at is, be logical Dash. Respect the rank, you don't have to respect the man behind it, but respect it.By the way rusty, Mason is better on account of his training and battle experience, he's seen more than Seth by far.

Stry, keep in mind those were character thoughts and actions, even if Mason is actually being an asshole... Also, think, maybe Dash's character doesn't like the ranking system, or upon death doesn't give it any credit seeing as the ones who gave that rank are either in heaven/on earth and thus, nowhere nearby, or they're in Hell like you, and thus their judgement could be quite poor... As for Mason seeing more... I believe that he's seen more than Seth... But I WON'T believe that he's better... Natural talent can far exceed a bit more experience... And so, in my mind, everyone's equal save those specifically meant to be OP, such as the daughter or satan (I will admit, the sword makes him stronger if he uses it, but in a one-on-one fight between Seth and Mason, without enhanced anything, I'd leave it up to pure RPing to decide the winner, not rank)
