Things that turn me away from a 1x1 RP, include but are not limited to simply having nothing more than 'pairing ideas' and nothing else. For example if an idea is just a bland "Knight/Peasant" then...

This is probably going to turn out longer than most interest checks... so bare with me.

So there's one RP idea that has always stuck with me as being really fun if you can find the right partner for it. And that, based on the title, is a Pokemon Adventure. But what exactly does that mean? Well, picture this...

Our characters start, just as characters do in every single Pokemon Game ever. Okay, not all of them but you know what I mean. They get, or already have their first starter Pokemon. They have just received their Pokedexes, and now they are off on their adventure to become Pokemon Masters. And we will RP every step of that journey, beginning to end. And if we wish, we can then simply... move to a new zone, and repeat.

Now this would follow the anime more than the game. Not step by step, but what I mean is, rather than seeming like the next goal is always what's ahead, moving from one town to the next purely for the sake of earning badges to one day challenge the Elite Four and become Pokemon Masters... our characters instead just go through life as it comes at them. Maybe they stop for a few days on the beach. Or maybe they are tight on money, so they take up some odd jobs with their Pokemon. It should feel like an actual Pokemon world, rather than a gauntlet of trails and challenges that simply lead from point A to point B, with Point A and B both being Pokemon Gyms. Many things should happen inbetween. Many friends should be made, challenges faces, and perhaps even a few side tours that lead them COMPLETELY off track for some special... let's just call them events? I don't have anything in mind currently, but think like the Pokemon Movies, where they go on a whole adventure set in just one location and end up, who knows... saving the world? Or something even lesser.

Now what should you know before messaging me with interest. What is it you should consider before you even think about starting up that conversation? Well, it's pretty simple honestly.

-This is an 18+ RP. While I won't go into any details as I know isn't some low quality ERP site, there will be smut. Likely a 50/50 split but where anything that gets smutty will have a purpose to drive the plot forward. Maybe it's not a good reason, and maybe it doesn't drive it super far along but it won't just be mindless scenes of smutty events from one to the next. That is, if that's how we prefer it but that's just the default.

-Most people who start out their Pokemon journey based on the games and anime, are pretty young. 10 years old. Obviously, our characters will be at least 18. So keep that in mind.

-More than just our characters will be played. And we will both have opportunities to create, and play characters that will sort of be one shots. Characters who appear for either a single scene, or a story arc, and are either never seen again, or will at most make appearances here and there along the journey. We will perhaps even play a second pair of rivals who constantly show up to challenge our own characters. Think Jessie and James, but if they played the role of Gary Oak. Scary right?

-Yes there will be Pokemon Battles. Yeah our characters as the 'heroes' of this story will probably almost always win unless the story calls for them to lose, but nonetheless, it suggests you should know the Pokemon you pick and what their moves are as you will be RPing out the battle. Sometimes this will mean one of us will RP one side of the battle, and the other will play their opponent... and sometimes this will mean that just one of us will RP both sides of the battle, perhaps in a single post if need be, or over multiple posts.

-Yeah, you should PROBABLY have a pretty firm understanding of Pokemon, the world, and all that. You don't have to have seen every movie, played every game, or watched every episode. Lord knows I haven't. But if you don't even know that Charizard isn't a Dragon Type and why that's a crime, then you probably don't know enough.

-Everyone should be able to create their own character, and RP as the character they are most interested in developing. That being said, you should be open to ideas and suggestions so that I can enjoy your character as well. I'm not going to define your character and tell you exactly how to play them, or who and what they should be... but you know, if I suggest that maybe I like chesty girls, it implies that's what my character IC is attracted to so it would make sense that your character would be one she moves towards and... look, just be open to character suggestions, alright? I'll do the same.

-I work 6 days of the week. There are times where I will be too busy to work, sick, exhausted, or just simply not interested that day in RP. That being said, other times, I can post all day long back and forth, posting often within 10 minutes of your own post. I do prefer a RP to be back and forth when we do get it going. Sure, there will be downtime, but I like a RP to be more, back and forth when it's able to be.

-That being said this RP can take place here in PMs, or on Discord where it will be easier to communicate and be notified about messages and the like. I don't have a preference where the RP is done however. Either works just as well as the other in my opinion so we can leave that up to your preference. But no, I will not be using anything else, so please don't ask if I'll use Email or something.
Nothing to update at the moment but here's a little bump for reasons unknown.
It's alright, at least we know.
Alive be ye all?
Minor Updates!
The machine nodded to them. "I would accompany you if I could, but... well, as I said. You can call me GF. That is what I'm called anyway, I know not why. Such memories have long since eluded me." He nodded to them, before moving back to his place to sit. "The scout will also be able to give you something that can keep you in contact with us, if you wish. Until then, please be safe. No matter how strong you may be, you do not know the limits of your strength. Fighting the Varden head on may very well be far beyond your strength. Be cautious, and do not try to take on an entire city on your own."

With his parting words, the girls would be pointed in the right direction to leave, back the way they came, and through a different exit that wouldn't drop them right back where they started, but instead, on the street near the tower that was already their goal. All they needed to do was head out, and climb themselves a tower, whether inside, or outside. It was a pretty large building after all. Likely able to house hundreds, if not thousands of people.

Added another canon.
The machine nodded its head, looking down in thought for a moment. "That is troubling... but, not completely unexpected." He pointed his staff up towards the ceiling of the cave for a moment. "High above this city, is a barrier. This barrier is a defense, against my kind, but others, as well. Passing through this barrier would shock one's system with an Electromagnetic Pulse, that would almost kill anything. Your, flesh and blood is the only reason you are alive. What little of your gear works is a wonder. But if you truly feel no ill will towards my kind, then there is a possibility..."

He looked around at the other machines for a moment. "To understand, I must tell you the history of this world. Not ancient history, but at least as far back as the events of three hundred years ago. To a time the Varden refer to as the Uprising. Machines were being developed as the next generation of the work force for the entire planet. To create even more advanced machines, they created an artificial brain, simply known as Mother. It was, to be just that, the Mother to all future machines. From Mother, came these cores, you see here in our bodies. Giving us unparalleled artificial life. As if, we have real souls, they said. But as you might imagine, people got scared of these new machines. Machines who could think, and feel, like I do. They demanded the entire program be shut down. And the engineers who created Mother, refused. It sparked a civil war, and the machines... The machines did not sit idle."

He stood up, and wobbled over to a table, and pulled out a book, eyeing through it. "There were many factions. One faction fought with the machines, feeling we had our right to exist as any other. Another faction, the Varden, fought to eradicate us from the world. They were zealots against our kind, so much so that they were willing to annihilate their planet if necessary, to keep us from spreading. Nuclear Weaponry, the most powerful weapon of its time. They planned to cover the globe in them, but before they had the chance, my kind, machines, took control. Mother crafted a ship, and with the few war machines who had been fighting, they left this world to ruin. Many of us, were left behind... and the Varden, and even the other factions who had fought alongside the machines, barely survived the nuclear end times that came. The world, was in fact blanketed with these weapons... and to this day, this world is not a place you can live in peacefully." He pointed upwards once more. "The glass dome you crashed through, is but one defense against the fallout that plagues this world. Beyond that dome, lies endless stretches of sand, death, and ruin. Even machines are eaten away by the fallout in time, that is why we live here, within the city."

He eyed the book silently for a moment, before closing it and tucking it away. "Different factions, created different cities, all over this planet. Cities just like this one, with different beliefs, different ideals... and I cannot say for certain, but you could very well be from another city. There were, rumors, that a city had been built, by those who supported my kind. They had the best chance. They were warned about what was coming. If any were to not harbor ill will towards my kind... and the only way I could imagine getting from one city to the next short of a specialized transport, is by tossing pods through the air. But, I am afraid that I cannot tell you who you are, or where you are from. I cannot tell you where this city is that you may call home, or what its people are like. I know simply, that the Varden are at war with anyone, who does not kneel to their beliefs. They will destroy anything in their path to be the ultimate rulers of this world. They are friend to nobody... even themselves."

He stood in a long moment of silence, thinking, trying to figure out what more he could do. "My core, is fading. I have but a mere few weeks left, at this rate. For hundreds of years, I have been exploring this city. Finding by brethren and bringing them here, to safety. I was, bigger then... livelier. But as our cores fade, our bodies do not function properly. Not unlike your own people's old age. I fear, I cannot safely venture from this place any longer. My people, will aid you as we can. I believe that your arrival, is a sign of something. Of change, to come. Whether good or bad... if you are our allies, then we must stand with you, as your people once stood with us. My kin, will aid you as we are able, though we are not warriors. We have information on the city. Eyes, ears, so to speak. I believe I know where you should start your search." He wobbled over to the wall, pointing his cane up to a map. "Here is where you landed. And here, is where we are now. Not far from where you landed is a tower, the tallest building in this section of the city. We had a scout atop the tower, but since your landing, we have not heard from him at all. If you would please, ascend this tower and find out why he is not responding. Not only could you get a good view of the city, and get a much better feel for where you are, but our scout can give you much information on the city that would be useful for you. Perhaps, you will remember something about why you have come here, by seeing the city from above. I'm afraid that is the last of what I can offer for now."
Added a craving for Overwatch pairings.
The machine would accept whatever help was offered, no matter how awkward it might be to be carried off. It was simply glad to not be left behind for once. Into the tunnel, they were taken from the building into the back alleys. It was clear just from looking around that this was not a place people were meant to go. Like forgotten hallways between buildings, only nobody was ever supposed to be able to actually get there. But this was the perfect hiding place. A place that would not likely even exist on maps should they look them over. And the machine in tow would point them in the right directions. Left here, right there, until they found themselves in a clearing between buildings. And hidden away in the corner, was a tunnel built into the ground, going down into a dug out cavern. It was covered by some bushes, and the buildings in this area seemed so tall that nothing could even fly over them. It was well hidden for sure.

Guiding them to the entrance, the machine would find its way down onto the ground again, and would slowly walk down into the hole. Any chance of fighting back was gone for the moment, as they were left with little option but to follow the tiny machine inside the hole.

Inside seemed, dark, cold, and lifeless at first. But as the three entered behind the elderly machine, dots would light up in all corners of the room, as one machine after another peeked out from little burrows to see who these strangers were. Each and every machine was unique, built from scrap to create bodies, but they all had one thing in common. Each one had a bright, shining golden core, the source of their light, that seemed to be their heart. This very same core, in the elderly machine, shined much less brightly, as if he was somehow rather literally dying from old age.

He found a place to sit, a sort of chair at the far side of the room. One of many pieces of scrap that lined the walls, seeming to serve the purpose of keeping the walls from caving in on them.

"Your people, and my kind... there is no love between us, that much is certain. I overheard you speaking, you do not know why you are here, or where you are from. But you did not react to my kind as the Varden would. That is, a full crusade that would likely destroy this entire city just to exterminate my kind." He seemed to ramble on a bit, before shaking his head. The suggestion that relations between their people and the machines were negative, let alone hostile, wouldn't sit right with the three. Even 03 who had initially reacted negatively to the machine's presence... even if her feelings didn't change, that statement didn't seem right. Like it was missing some details. Or perhaps... it showed a vast difference in how the Varden acted.

"Tell me, what do each of you know, what do you remember, and what questions, do you have. Though I cannot promise that I have all the answers, nor that I can answer everything you ask without asking something of you in return. I only promise, that I will ask nothing of you, that will not in turn, aid you as well."
