Just letting you all know: I am not going to be here as of Saturday 11th until Monday 20th. I'm going to Spain. There might be free wifi where I'm staying but I'm going to a beach festival so predominantly I shall be partying, drinking, catching rays and looking for babes haha!
Am I the only ship that has been through the ringer before? :P
Yep!
Every race decided to make new ships for Sigma, but you're the only ship that they deemed as "worthy enough" and on-par with new ships to be put in Sigma~
At least, that's what I think they should do!
New force = new arms
Can't be donating crappy old ships to a new fleet, unless those crappy old ships are spanking shiny ones!
Nuclear Engines: While the Mundus does not have some sort of fancy, high-technological Dark Matter drive, the Mundus utilizes eight nuclear reactors to power the Mundus’ twelve engines. The downside to these engines is that they require a lot of energy, which is why when the Mundus is not in battle, its shields are down simply for energy to be diverted towards its engines. While its certainly not the fastest ship in its class -- nor the most energy efficient -- it is a work horse.
Quantum Communications: Ability to communicate with ships and stations on the other side of the galaxy
Shields: Part of the Mundus’ energy goes to maintaining a thin shield over the ship itself, absorbing most of the kinetic energy before even touching the ship itself. This shield, like most other shields, can be disabled, whether it be by taking too many hits or by the ship itself taking on too much damage.
Notable Missions: None
Other: Because the Mundus is a Carrier class starship, the Mundus has over eighteen launcher bays, and most of the ship’s vast space is used to carry its one-hundred and twenty fighters that are on board at any given time – unless destroyed. The maximum capacity for the Mundus is an overwhelming four-hundred and ten Striker fighter. The Mundus only carries one-hundred and twenty Striker fighters, however, and will not be equipped with more unless the mission depends on it. Not only that, but it is very unlikely that all one-hundred and twenty Strikers will actually take off during a given battle, with the amount of Strikers taking off from the ship varying depending on the mission size – and on Captain Solarin’s decision.
Ship Designation: Striker
Ship Class: Light Fighter
Ship Crew: 1
Ship Weapons:
Low-powered Ion Cannon for ship to ship combat
Four missiles
Characters
Name: Einox Solarin
Age: 26
Race: Hypharin
Rank: Captain
Skills: Skilled tactician in space battles from the Hypharin Space Academy, yet no experience.
Personality: A rather kind yet unexperienced captain, Solarin was handpicked by the higher-ups in the Hypharin Starfleet straight out of the Hypharin Space Academy after they had seen his high marks and how hell he performed in simulations – and the utmost respect and kindness he gave to others and received. While other captains may think he has gotten arrogant due to the high rise in rank, Solarin has instead become the opposite, being gracious for his new role. While he has no experience in real combat, he expects for both him and his crew to do their best in Sigma.
Biography: There’s not much to say about Solarin, other then the fact that he was born to a loving family and attended the Hypharin Space Academy as soon as he was eligible to join, becoming a captain right after he left the school.

Radar:: A rather long ranged radar capable of detecting enemy movements. Not very special.

This shield, like most other shields, can be disabled, whether it be by taking too many hits or by the ship itself taking on too much damage.
Warp Drive: the Mundus comes equipped with a faster-than-light Warp Drive. With the Warp Drive, the Mundus can get anywhere in a matter of seconds, with the downside of the Warp Drive requiring massive amoutns of energy to actually function and a rather long charge time of around twenty minutes. Thus, when the Warp Drive is used, the Mundus has to divert some of its energy -- perhaps from its shield or engines -- to the Warp Drive and wait a rather lengthy time. For this reason, the Warp Drive is usually used when not in combat.
Vita: The Mundus comes equipped with a smartAI known as Vita. While Vita does not have a physical, holographic form, Vita was created by the Hypharin Starfleet to aid the Mundus. Vita is mainly used for calculations and to aid everyone on board the ship, whether it be in combat or out of combat.
Notable Missions: None. The Hypharin Starfleet decided to build the HYS-221 Mundus when Sigma was announced, modeling the ship after a vastly older ship, the HYS-220 World, which was destroyed many years ago.
The HYS Mundus is considered a vast improvement and a successor to the HYS World, being roughly 0.9 KM longer, being able to hold and carry more fighters, and other improvement in other areas such as the number of launcher bays (18) and number of turrets and so on.
Other: Because the Mundus is a Carrier class starship, the Mundus has over eighteen launcher bays, and most of the ship’s vast space is used to carry its one-hundred and twenty fighters that are on board at any given time – unless destroyed. The maximum capacity for the Mundus is an overwhelming six-hundred and ten Striker fighter.

Name: Sarah Loklan
Age: 29
Race: Human
Rank: Commander
Skills: Excellent shot, excellent tactician, medical skills
Personality: A commander (first mate, technically) to the HYS Mundus, she rather resents the captain for his young age and becoming a captain right out of school, but doesn't disrespect his authority or commands.
Biography: Not much is known about her, with her background files being classified in the system.
