Personality: Whilst living a more luxurious than most Chinese folk, Shan Yongrui still retained the ideal amount of responsibility and maturity you'd expect out of a working class citizen. Being the son of a Corporate Official does not entitle free will and luxury, it means you'll be taught responsibility. Shan's father was a ground-up executive, and knew more responsibility than most people know what their asses looks like. Moving forward, Shan is a calm personality, and stands tall with a firm posture. Thus, possesses at least some degree of confidence. This also tends to give off the impression that he's sophisticated, and is thought to have a really good 'Poker face'.
As the result of being the son of a Corporate Official, Shan leans politically more towards the traditional side of Hong Kong. To elaborate, Hong Kong has a long history of freedom of speech. As such, Shan supports this amendment. This is because an Authoritarian government like China may suddenly seize parts of the economy for their use, and sometimes you have to pick a side. On a parting note, Shan tends to be a dork about things. He has some slight obsessions with martial arts, Scandinavian metal, and imagining eldritch oddities. In his local area, he's a hard man to relate to, and is generally quiet.

History: Born as the son to a Corporate Executive, Shan Yongrui was subjected to a more luxiurious ife than most folk in Hong Kong. His family had lived near the top floor of an apartment block, overlooking the corporate sector of the city, with the company of two other siblings. Through out his youth, he seemed to have a much more superior insight than most of his peers. Strangely enough, this came more naturally to him in literature and writing, rather than mathematics and science. Through out his youth, he was regularly an outsider despite attending a single school district in his childhood. He considered himself to be a literary artist, if he could. As, Yongrui would attempt to exploit even the smallest particles of the cosmos, and turn them into a literary topic.
Moving into his later schooling, Yongrui proceeded with his talent for the literary arts, and took advanced writing courses. Meanwhile, he made due to take Martial Arts classes to overcome a stressful schedule in preparing himself for college. Around this time, he took up the opportunity for linguistics courses for English, and was more than a fluent speaker by the time of his graduation. Yongrui didn't waste anytime after his graduation, and proceeded to attend The University of Hong Kong, majoring in Creative Writing.
From his attonement found in Martial Arts courses, Yongrui was able to combat the stresses of being a college student with a new-found efficiency. While in college, Yongrui had taken the opportunity for internships and freelance writing opportunities, as they were presented to him. These little jobs had helped prepare him for a professional career in the world of commerce, up until his graduation from The University of Hong Kong. After he'd graduated, he was offered a multitude of opportunities, but ultimately took up one to become a writer in Chinese films. As Yongrui wrote them, he had realized that these were dull films made to pander to the largest majority. There was no subsistence, no real setting, no development, or plot. They were purely fixated to be action, within the preliminaries of cultural standards. To elaborate this notion, excess gore was prohibited to him, as showing any part of the skeletal structure in China is taboo. Completely unmotivated, Yongrui had one day been invited to a government facility, and was greeted by an Agent of Argus. Expressing deep interest in Yongrui for the realm of espionage (of course, this wasn't outright said to him), Shan jumped at the offer, and saw it as an escape from his fettered line of work.

Initially, this was for the sake of his insight with writing authenticity for crime novels. However, during training they usually found themselves in firm agreement of each other's opinions, and as such, are friends to this day.
- Minami Yuuna ☯⚜: Despite being a hardened criminal, Shan Yongrui bears no ill-will towards Yuuna. Yongrui was born in Hong Kong where there's a long history of free speech.
