I was absent for about 2 days (excuse me), but I managed to get a solid post up last night. I don't exactly want to double post, so I'm just going to wait for a few others, or my roommate rather.
It was a total gamble. The package Yoshito and the rest of his classmates were given did no include anything about who you were being paired with in your dorms. The only thing he knew was that they were co-ed. He could either end up bunking in the same quarters as a fellow male or a female from his classroom. Yoshito was still a tad too young to develop these feelings, and he supposed he had never been interested in them in the first place. This same thought that had passed his mind caused him to cringe slightly on the inside as he lifted the satchel off the back of his seat in the class and watch the rest of the pupils exit. As boring as it was, Yoshito managed to keep himself mildly entertained as it was a chance to analyze everyone else's abilities, and take mental notes of their personalities. Though, it was the battle ground where true colors would really start to show. This caused him to laugh. It was audible, yet quiet; under his breath. Before departing into the hallway, Yoshito turned to the headmaster with a simple look and short common bow.

"Farewell, sensei." and he didn't seem so bored this time. With that, he proceeded out of class towards his dorm. Yoshito never like to rush things, that had never been on his agenda unless it was absolutely needed. Not to get him confused with a slug of the bunch, he was very fast, and still had a childish energy pulsing through his small body, but sometimes life moved by too quickly. You didn't want to miss it. Slowly Yoshito continued to pace along the hallway, casually taking a deep breath to absorb the smell in the area. His old sensei informed him this was a good habit to get into. The hall seemed empty at this point. It reminded Yoshito of those old roads in his little village at dawn. Nobody had roamed them as much as he did during those times. Walking amongst the dust gave you a feeling of control over the entire streets. It was very peaceful, much more quiet. He had hoped to get some time like that later today, but as of now, he was approaching his dorm room. This should be it.. he thought, looking at a slip of paper removed from his package and up to the top of his door. The moment of truth.

"Haha." taking it so seriously made Yoshito chuckle lightly. With this, the young one had placed his hand to the knob of the door and entered what would be his living space for the next little while. In a calm manner, he stepped through into the dorm and shut the door behind him politely to find his roommate on his knees in a meditative state. He felt as if most people would be perplexed by this, but Yoshito was indifferent. The boy was older than he was, this was obvious. A clear dark energy radiated off his body. It would be no other than the same student that felt privileged enough to think he could put both the students and headmaster in place. This made Yoshito wonder what his true intentions were, or what was even at his disposal. Nonetheless, he was sharing a room with this one, kind of a drag but that's how it was.

"My name is Yoshito Nambu.." he spoke in a calm yet somewhat lazy tone. A pause occurred just as he unloaded the rest of his things onto the bed. "..guess you're my new roommate, huh?" not even a handshake was offered.
I think matching random students would be more fun.
Having roommates would be a good way to make friends (or enemies) with the character roster. I think it would add an interesting aspect to the RP. As far as picking roommates, I think a randomization of students would be better.
It was clear the rest of the students had finally arrived. Or so Yoshito thought. I suppose you could never know who would come in at the last minute, but he doubted that. He continued listening to the headmasters instructions, clear, although very brief in explanation as he demonstrated the technique without giving too many details. An aura flashed around the attire of Sin'Chi in a beautiful light blue color. It was definitely a sight to see, truly a masters art, though, it was to be expected at his level. Using his centered energy, the headmaster began walking on the walls of the classroom, to the ceiling, and eventually floated gracefully back down on top of the desk at the front of the class. It was clear the headmaster believed in actions speaking louder than words. He must have assumed the rest of the group could manage it on their own. By then one stray girl from the class was already up front attempting the same maneuver the headmaster had instructed. Yoshito was in no way eager to see what ability his fellow classmates had, though he did show a keen interest now as he was no longer totally zoned out. It seemed Yoshito was disappointed at a failed attempt, just as more students started to get up from their desks. No one appeared to be standing one-by-one as the headmaster asked, not like minor differences like that mattered. It was at this time the personalities of everyone else started showing. One girl even offered to treat the wounds of another fallen student. He was aware of the desk being knocked over, but has seen too many fumbles in his time at the temple to find it abnormal.

Before getting up, he paused, taking note of the student that was speaking to the headmaster. He caught a few words and thought he misheard them originally, but directed his attention to the student in front of the class, the one speaking to, or rather down at everyone else. His tone came off as cocky, a very pompous person indeed. Yoshito couldn't help but snicker, things like these could rile him up (with joy), but he managed to stifle his enjoyment and proceed watching the others.

About a minute passed and most, if not everyone from the class had went. Yoshito sighed and muttered something inaudible under his breath before continuing to the front of the class. As he stood in front of the blackboard, Yoshito began to focus his mind and count down. This has always brought his body to a steady beat in which he could concentrate on his strength. From there he began to channel energy through his body and relax all tension within his joints. A power grew within his body, and a light blue aura was seen rising from Yoshito's figure to full length as it extended to his legs and molded itself at the bottom of his feet. Like this, Yoshito could equivocate things in his favor was both feet brought themselves to the blackboard, one after another without a second of hesitation. For a moment he felt as if something had popped, he was overwhelmed in his thought process for just a second that gravity began to pull backwards on his body and Yoshito slipped up. Before falling he was able to act quick enough, and plant both sandals down against the chalky platform again.

"Whoops." escaped his mouth as solemnly as could be. That was close.. he thought as he re-positioned himself and started again. It was evident there was a small struggle, and his aura reflected on this, but slowly his energy built back up, and Yoshito brought himself to the ceiling of the classroom to where he hung upside down with his eyes closed. For a moment, he opened them without a word said, took a deep breath and dangled as to build momentum before unlocking his feet from the rooftop and drop back to the ground. The small body of the boy was seen landing on the floor with a roll off his impact.

Yoshito took a moment and dusted off his baggy pants "Fun.." his voiced dragged on again in a very unenthusiastic tone. Regardless, he did appreciate the introduction the headmaster had given. He supposed it was needed in order to ease your way into the bigger things. As his aura dissipated, the boy took his satchel, and headed out the door of the classroom once everyone was dismissed.
Outside looked delightful. Yoshito almost wished he was out there again as he noticed the sun began to grow to its peak. He could still remember the smells from outside. Yoshito's sensei used to tell him that it was important to admire those things; what was around you. He almost wish he had got up earlier, but the idea made him cringe on the inside. There wasn't much attention given to those entering the classroom. Regardless, he was very aware of his surroundings and continued taking notes mentally for each person entering the classroom. Just as the last of the bunch came in, it was then one girl stood up from within the crowd and began to introduce herself. There was always that one person. It was apparent everyone else fell into a shy bunch, but he assumed truthfully no one really cared enough. As the Headmaster Sin'Chi Hajime spoke, he closed his book at once and left it at the side of his desk again. He had always been a good listener when taking instructions at the temple, he just came off in a different way. The Headmaster informed his pupils about certain packages that all students would receive. Each one supplied information about the academy and every individuals dorm room. The first part was always a slow process. For the time being, Yoshito did not bother to open his packet as it seemed a class discussion was starting.

“Now that is finished. I want to ask you all something and I want some volunteers to raise their hand. How efficient are you in honing your energy?” said the Headmaster. Simple enough. Of course it was the girl who had risen before that was the first one to speak. After she proceeded, Yoshito followed up after her, figuring nobody else would have; raising his hand at a casual pace.

"I am confident in my ability to utilize the energy I harness. However, I am aware of my strengths and weaknesses." his tone was very serious, yet it sounded unenthusiastic. Child-like, but centered; mature for his age. Yoshito spent time learning self-control and confidence. Learning his limitations and finding where he truly shined. This being said, he was in no way cocky. That attitude itself was something he disliked. He didn't come here because he was a master, it was just the opposite. It was evident that Yoshito was young, and he knew this, but that didn't matter to him. As he finished speaking, Yoshito wondered about the paths chosen in the room. He began to feel them faintly, and it was figured that only those that walk with the light have volunteered themselves to answer. No matter. It was only two people, but he was interested in seeing what the rest of them had to say.
I don't think a posting order is necessary else those more eager to write will have to wait on those that would rather not. Nothing wrong with either, I just think as long as we post every so often and the story continues smoothly.
The pathway had led towards the school and Yoshito Nambu stood outside the academy, still as could be with one solid form as his eyes gazed upon the exterior. A breeze rolled by and he curled his toes within the sandals he had on as it ruffled his shirt and past. He had slept early that night, although he still almost felt as if he was tired. Restless, but in the kind of way that made him feel bored, not fatigued. With little hesitation he strode forth, and proceeded into the building with a satchel that slung over his shoulder and rode down across his torso; steady to his side as he walked. It did not waver, and neither did he. It seemed odd. The closest thing he had been to an academy centered around what he assumed merciless combat was the same temple he spent six years of training at. Even then, he was alone. Who would he see? It didn't make Yoshito nervous not to know. It could be anybody. Perhaps he would find them alike those who he had went to school with. He could even make a friend or two. Pfft. The idea made Yoshito laugh a little bit. It was only until after he had realized that the chuckle released was out loud, though it wasn't like he cared.

By this time Yoshito had made his way into the same corridor that homeroom was placed. He did not think, but only moved towards the doorway at around 9:45 when he passed through the entrance. Immediately the instructor had caught his eye. Yoshito took a moment to inspect this older figure and realized his attire had displayed something of a higher individual. This must have been the headmaster. He's heard of him before, and how much of an important person he was supposed to be. It seemed strange that he was in a classroom about this manner, so Yoshito only assumed it had been temporary. Yoshito made the first move to bow to the headmaster, as many times as he had done it before, it was routine.

"Good evening." Yoshito's voice dragged on. It was deeper for his age, and you could spot a hint of laziness in his tone if you listened close enough, though he did not mean anything else but the utmost respect. With this, he turned towards the rest of the class from the corner of the room and scanned over the rest of his classmates quickly. Yoshito stuck out like a pimple on a pubescent teenagers forehead. Most of the fellow students within the room looked to be much older than he was, as mild of a shock as it was, this didn't cause him to fear in the least. There he walked to the middle row of desks amongst the classroom, all 5'3" of his thirteen year old stature. Perhaps one of the youngest in the room pulled out his seat from the desk and planted himself towards it. Yoshito's bag was brought down off his side, and a book was removed from within the leather package. With this, he let out a sigh and began to balance his head on the palm of his hand, rolling the flesh along his face upwards as his eyes glued themselves onto each line of the book before him.
Name: Yoshito Nambu.
Age: 13.
Height: 5'3.
Weight: 120 lb.
Path: Hikari.

Weapon: Studded gauntlets, used for forearm protection and offensive purposes (not always in use).

Appearance:

Personality: Yoshito is the sort of sarcastic, unenthusiastic child that didn't get along with others his age. He enjoys having a good laugh at minor things, which may cause him to come off as easily distracted, but Yoshito maintains a correct focus. Despite him being so young, his intellect is far above what most would regard it to be. He most often has a strong will and moral compass, but also spends perhaps too much time laid back, causing the severity of most situations to bring him little, if not any fear. Overall Yoshito is an independent person that prefers getting most things done on his own, or not at all.

Biography: Growing up even younger than Yoshito is before was very troubled. Not financially, but Yoshito himself was a born a youngling with zero discipline. At school he was neither a bully, nor one picked upon, though his grades were an obvious failure. Only for a short while was it tolerable until both Yoshito's parents figured they couldn't handle a child much longer, especially one of this audacity. At the age of 7, Yoshito had been sent to be raised and trained at a temple of martial artists a few miles outside of his home village. There he obtained new power, and learned techniques that gave him a new mindset, and something more to do. Here he didn't have to be bored by those around him at school, and his foolhardy ways were taken care of. Only recently did Yoshito move to Asheville where he recruited himself, making him something of a "new kid".

Martial Art Style -

1.) Togakure-ryū: A traditional ninpō (Ninjutsu) that focuses on analyzing your opponent through combat in order to gain additional information on said opponents fighting patterns. This knowledge may be used in physical escapes and often evasion techniques in order to counter attack when an opening is exposed.

2.) Ng Ga Kuen/Ng Gar King: A Chinese style of martial arts that incorporates techniques from the five Shaolin animals: the tiger, the dragon, the leopard, the snake and the crane. Ng Ga Kuen brings together a multitude of fighting styles that are used for various situations and scenarios such as speed (Leopard), strength (Tiger), evasion (Snake), equilibrium (Crane), and intellect or the ability to smoothly preform in combat (Dragon). Most techniques are seen utilizing open palm thrusts, parries, and boxing combat.

Magic Abilities -
1.) Photokinetic Combat: The ability to fuse light energy within your body to greatly increase your speed tenfold, which also amplifies hitting power, allowing for much faster attacks, and a much quicker evasion. Yoshito cannot literally move at light speed.

2.) Energy Beam Emission: A beam of pure light and energy usually ejected from the palm of fingertips that can be thinned out for accurate shooting, or widened for large destruction. Not only is the beam used to project damage, but can smite dark energy and absorb life-force to make an opponent feel weaker. Almost predictable if used too often.

3.) Photon Healing: Yoshito may heal himself or others using a photogenic regenerative process. Larger wounds may take longer, and this ability will run out if a light source is not current.
