I duck tape my leg together all the time, it works.
@Vesuvius00 Sweet!
Lea scoffed and crossed her arms at what the guy was saying. "If you're empty why do you still have the weapon?" she wasn't in the best of moods but at least it was better than listening to Marcus preach about Lea screwing her life up and the little drinking problem she had acquired.

"We're not going to kill you. We may feed you or give you a drink, but are you sure solo is the way to go?" she was tired and wanted to leave the city. Wanted to be done with the town of her twisted upbringing. Less time she had to spend there, the better. "Want a drink?" Lea finally offered.
Celty smiled and looked over to Jake. "Morning, tough night too? Massages help, but then again there isn't any spas open nowadays." she joked a little. She knew how to give a good massage but didn't want to push her limits of her own trust. Didn't seem like the right time, just yet at least.

When Quinn asked to use the bathroom Celty hid a slight chuckle and sarcastically answered, "No. You have to piss yourself like a POW." she gave him a slight smirk and looked back at Jake. "If we're taking away freedoms, can I claim my right to pee in peace now?" she knew it probably wasn't the best time to joke, but she wanted to lighten up the mood. Making friends with these people may be ccrucial to her survival.

Like always she would keep one eye open at all times, but trust was something they partly earned when they let her in and didn't kill her in her sleep. That she was very greatful for.
Intro

Failed experiment after failed experiment was only just the beginning in their project. They were on the brink of success they thought. Maybe change this DNA strand, or that chromosome, perhaps insert this gene here. All attempts to make a weapon that would replace thousands of men and women on the battlefield. A weapon that would annihilate any target with ease. A weapon the would crush any resistance, any threat, and topple any governing body.
"No, that isn't right. Take it apart."
"Yes Director."
"We must be close to a break through. I have spent 13 years and millions on this research. I need successful results!"
"We are trying everything we can sir."

Years upon years of failed or flawed results have been their track record. However, what happens when the right things happen at the right time? Would it create a viable subject? The answer is yes, and not just one. They have created many.
Intelligent, strong, agile, crafty, cunning, and nearly impossible to capture. These specimens aren't your normal, everyday humans. No, these are modified and genetically altered hybrids. Many splices of animal genes have been put into a mixing bowl with human DNA. Out popped winged advanced hybrids.
"They will make perfect weapons. Train them and monitor their behavior. I want perfect results."
"Yes Director."

"Warning!
Warning!
Containment anomaly!"

As the lights flicker and the sirens sound, perfect specimens have vanished.
Now the hunt begins.

This is a realistic slice of life roleplay with fantasy aspects. Living the life of a runaway experiment, a human with wings and other superhuman abilities, always on the run or trying to be normal. Can you camouflage well enough or will they find you?
Leilu

Leilu peered up for a moment at the excited girl. When she fell she gave a slight chuckle but looked around the stall to see if she was alright. Seeing she was Leilu gave a smile and looked back at Gori. "Looks like we aren't the only ones eager to get out there." Leilu srcatched behind Gori's ear making him lick her arm. "Haha, want to go say hi?" She asked playfully then knelt down watched as he got his barrings.

At first he was wobbly and his back legs gave out from under him but he didnt give up. Leilu encouraged him and made sure if he fell again, he wouldn't hut anything. "Come on boy. You got this. Shake it off." she said softly. Gori stretched out his wings and let out a lazy yawn. He finally walked got his ballance and lost the stiffness in his muscles. "That a boy! haha," Leilu smiled and pat his side in pleased joy.

Before Leilu could stand up, he tried to beat his tired wings, "Whoa, whoa. Let's wait for that until we're outside. Not enough space in her for that and don't want to cause a commotion." she eased him to stop then stood. "Good. Now let's go say hi."

Leilu nodded and walked over to the stall the girl was in, halting Gori when she saw the other animals. He stopped and sat next to her, headbutting her hand and licking it. "You're quite energetic for just getting out of stasis." She smiled and gave a slight chuckle. "When you are ready, we're quite eager to explore too." Leilu scratched the partial wolf behind his ear again and offer the girl her hand.
