Crystal sighed and folded her arms across her chest, giving Irina a rather cold glance before responding. "I didn't have much of a day at the market so there isn't much to hear..." She noticed Irina looking at her in a strange way... a nice way, and felt a little bad for being so curt with her when she was only trying to make conversation. "I did pick up a few things though...We're almost home so I'll show you when we get inside." At that, Crystal smiled; She couldn't wait to see the look on Irina's face when she saw the snow globe she'd gotten for her out of the kindness of her heart... Well, that was part of the reason. It was mostly a gift to mend things between them, but now that they both apologized there was no need to mend anything. I can keep it for myself then! Hmmm... Maybe not. Crystal reconsidered, finding she couldn't pass up the chance to do something nice for Irina. She remembered her Royal Attendant's tale of hardship at the dinner table, and...though Crystal didn't show it right then, it did make her feel a little sad. They were the same age and Irina was a nice girl - she saw no reason for Irina to be unappreciated. It was her way of saying Thank you...without actually having to say anything.
After several minutes Argo trotted up toward the palace and stopped in front of the fountain to let them off. Crystal, being her usual hasty self, jumped down from Argo's back without waiting for Irina to help her off of the giant steed. The distance from the ground was greater than expected, and Crystal did not anticipate the pain that shot up her legs when her feet hit the ground that caused her to fall back and hit the ground like a rag doll. She was not unconscious, but she wanted to be. Her legs were in so much pain; it scared her to think she may have broken them. Groaning, she tried to lift her head but...the sight of Irina and knowing she witnessed this poor display embarrassed her. "Irina, this is all your fault..." She said weakly, shielding her eyes with her arm so she wouldn't have to look at Irina anymore. "If you would have just left me be..." Crystal didn't finish the rest of her sentence, it was just too much for her.
