25 (474 R.C.) ║Mekon Movement/The Adonis Adders║Venusian║Male
Physical Appearance
Sebastian stands at 5'10", which while not being that tall, is fairly decent for someone on Venus. It also isn’t ideal for a soccer player to be too tall, so he is thankful for the height he was given. His soft features are also very odd for a planet like Venus and the sport like soccer, but he says he works his hardest to keep his skin this was. Outside of his general beauty, the most interesting thing about Sebastian are his eyes. On closer inspection, someone can tell that they hold a deep longing, even after he had won trophies and MVPs. His desire for something greater can be seen in those eyes.
Those beautiful, beautiful eyes.
While he does wear his jersey for the games, he refuses to wear it outside of team related activities. This jersey is a mix black, red and white, with the team insignia and sponsors all over it. On the back of the jersey, his last name “Salas” and his number “88” are on the back. As he is only human, he feels that if he was to wear the jersey for unofficial business, he’d be giving the team a bad team, especially with his actions in Mekon. His reason for not wearing a shirt when he goes out in public is that “If you’re always down for a pickup soccer game, you have to show it somehow.” This seems partially true, considering he has a habit of playing soccer games with random fans who ask when he is out.

PatientBiography:
To live on Venus is to suffer, though whether that is just the result of the human condition or being born on Venus is another problem altogether.
Sebastian remembers nothing of his family. He was told by the orphanage caretaker that his family had decided to give him away as they couldn’t care for him. Sebastian was their sixth child at that point and another mouth to feed would be too much for the family. Despite his success, newly acquired wealth, and connections, Sebastian has never been able to track down the family that abandoned him all those years ago.
Life on Venus isn’t the greatest normally and living in an orphanage made it even worse. Sleepless starving nights were the norm and child abuse ran rampant in these types of instutions. It was this type of life that Sebastian had to live, one of isolation and suffering. Yet, he still kept a smile somewhat on his face, for at least he had something to escape this hellish reality with.
Soccer.
It is the sport of the poor, as all someone needs is the ball. The orphanage had an old soccer ball that he would play with every day. From dawn to dusk, soccer would be what gave him the strength to survive the hand fate had dealt him. Of course, excessive physical work and a lack of calories was detrimental to his health, but any price was worth his only source of happiness. Though, eventually, it wouldn’t be his only source of happiness, and in fact, would bring him his only other friend.
Carlos.
Carlos was a new orphan, his parents having died as miners when a shaft collapsed on top of them. They didn’t die initially and it was possible that they could have been saved, but a late response from the empire ensured that they would die down there. For that, Carlos would harbor a hatred of the empire, though not one Sebastian would share.
The new orphan was incredibly emotionally distant when he first arrived, but he was also interested in soccer. Sebastian picked up on this and after months of probing, Carlos finally agreed to play with him. It was the start of a beautiful friendship that Sebastian would continue to cherish until this very day. After all, your first and best friend is something to cherish until the very end, isn’t it?
Of course, having a friend didn’t actually make life easier. However, it did help ease the burden. Even if you are starving, you are not starving alone. Even if you can not sleep, you aren’t not sleeping alone. Even if you are being belted, you aren’t being belted alone. Well, actually, that last one wasn’t totally true, but the two would do everything together, so more often than not it would be together. Even if the weight of the world would bear itself down upon them, they would have one another for comfort.
Their skills in soccer would continue to develop while in the orphanage, as the two never actually could afford to attend school. While that had plenty of downsides in regards to academia or tech, it allowed for the duo to spend all of their time honing their abilities on the field. Once they got old enough, they’d go to pickup games at parks to play against others, which would eventually make them even better players. While they were still a duo of misfits, at least they were really good at soccer.
Eventually, once they were of age, they were kicked out of the orphanage. A few years after that, the old woman who ran it would close it down and it would be demolished. This old woman passed away three years ago and despite everything he went through, Sebastian made it a point to attend.
Well, the pair was homeless now, but Sebastian would end up taking oddjobs and Carlos would work as a miner, so they would eventually be able to secure the rent in the bad part of town. It also happened to be next to a park, so this meant more time for soccer when they weren’t working. It still wasn’t an easy life, but at least they were able to eat and sleep in a somewhat more comfortable location. This would be their life for a few more years, but thankfully, their fortune would eventually change.
During a game of pickup soccer, Sebastian was able to impress a recruiter in the area, and was willing to give him a tryout for his team, The Kairos Kickers. They were actually a last place team in desperate need of some new talent, so they were willing to gamble a bit with this poor boy kicking in a park. Unfortunately, this offer wasn’t given to Carlos, which caused the two of them to get into a fight when they returned home. It was a bitter argument, which resulted in some heated words being said, and the fight didn’t end naturally, but because Carlos needed to go to work.
The fight would never be resolved.
Carlos would die that day at work. The mine collapsed, killing Carlos instantly. Apparently, it too could have been avoided if there were better inspectors. Carlos’ entire body was crushed besides from his arm, which held a bracelet that was given to him by his mother before she died. Since Sebastian was the closest thing he had left to family, the bracelet was sent back to him. Sebastian now wears the bracelet as a token to his friend, and honors all of his victories in his friend’s name.
The pain caused by Carlos’ passing had never really faded.
His tryout was very successful and after a year in developmental, he would join The Kairos Kickers as a striker. He would instantly make a name for himself, and would make sure The Kairos Kickers got first place in their division, the first time in the club’s entire history. The team would eventually lose in the Semi-Finals, but Sebastian would still win Rookie Of The Year that year. Of course, the entire Venusian League is unofficial. It still ends up generating money and is insanely popular on Venus, but in the eyes of Mars, it is unofficial.
His contract with the team was only a year and instead of resigning, he signed with Carlos’ favorite team, The Adonis Adders. With The Adonis Adders, Sebastian would go on to win the Championship two years in a row, with MVP both years as well. The current season hasn’t started yet, but he has his sights on winning both awards for three years in a row, making him the first ever to achieve such a feat..
He ended up joining the Mekon Movement in an attempt to make sure what happened to Carlos and his family would never occur again. While he doesn’t agree with the more radical approaches that the movement seems to use, he believes at the very least, he can make sure that the people of Venus can receive more aid and better conditions from Mars. He often is told that he isn’t quite hard enough for Mekon, but he believes that his softer edge adds value to the organization. Still, he is interested in trying to move into combat missions where he’ll be able to help coordinate the team. He hopes that someone will eventually let him in on one of these endeavours, even if he is still rather green.
Sebastian is an incredibly popular star, with a large undyingly loyal fanbase. He believes that since he has won over their hearts, he might be able to do so with the members of Venus who aren’t too keen on the Mekon.
Skills and Abilities
Athleticism: As the star athlete in Venus’ premier soccer club, it should come as no surprise that Sebastian is incredibly athletic. He is about as dexterous and strong as a human could ever hope to achieve. This also includes his incredibly impressive flexibility a soccer player needs to make those awe inspiring kicks.
Panache: It seems that no matter what he is doing, from kicking a ball or taking a sip of wine, there is a certain type of fanciness. He has innovated several different types of kicks that children on the playground hurt themselves trying to recreate. He has limited his use of these kicks, as he doesn’t want to spread this type of message to the youth. Still, there is always that hint of “gracefulness” in every single thing he does.
Charisma: A certain type of likeability and ability to sway people is a natural gift of his. It is much closer to a natural ability than something he needed to train. It is a natural connection to people and the ability to understand their hearts and respond in kind. This is fairly important in a team game, but even more important for someone trying to help a rebel movement.
Teamwork: Despite having the highest individual scores out of anyone in the history of the Unofficial League, he is incredibly close to breaking the assist score as well. At his core, he is a team player, someone who will always try his best to figure out what is best for the team. Even if it isn’t popular, he strives to do what he finds objectively the correct move for the whole of a group.
Attractive: Being pretty is the greatest of natural boons, isn’t it? It makes one more likely to earn a higher wage, be treated with more respect, and so forth. While it is useless with no skill, with skill, it becomes one of the greatest abilities someone could really possess.
Personal Items and Equipment
A combat knife with a grip that has Carlos' name inscribed into the grip.
A semi-automatic .32 ACP pistol.
His prized soccer ball that he has had since he was a child.
His bracelet which belonged to Carlos. It isn't anything special, as it seems to be just a metal one coated in a black paint. The top of the bracelet does seem to have a gold insignia, one that looks like some kind of arrow, though it is certainly fake gold.
Strengths and Weaknesses
Sebastian is determined and willing to give everything he can to the people of Venus. His physical prowess and dexterity is more than enough to handle most normal people in a fight. However, his real talent is his ability to understand people and respond to that. With even minimal conversations, he can understand how people work, and will do his best to make sure they feel okay in the end.
Unfortunately, this ability to empathize often comes at a cost. He has a tough time willing to use the more extreme methods, preferring to target only military personnel and never his own people. To him, the people of Venus was worth too much to really put at risk, so he can sometimes hesitate or struggle to approve of operations. Sebastian is working on improving this part of him, but is going along fairly slowly. Thankfully, he mostly works with administrative tasks and public relations.
He also has absolutely no idea how Mobile Suits work or any kind of advanced tech like that.
Chosen Mobile Weapon
None until someone creates the Mobile Suit Soccer Association.
