Every iteration of Digimon is slightly different they do "bleed" just they bleed data/source code. In theory you inflict a serious enough injury they would probably start leaking digital blood, what purpose it serves if any coudl be debated But I would think especially in the real world they'd have some equivilant. Data gets converted to synthetic flesh basically, so thy should have some form of Synthetic blood analog.

But Dark doesn't have to mean blood. Dark can mean stuff like torture. while in a show a bad digi would be likely to just lock up their captive slap them a couple times. in a darker setting torture would fit in, even if digimon don't bleed they can feel pain so by stabbing a digimon every so often to inflict pain until they talked that could fall under "darker" The original version wasn't afraid to be a little dark for plot reasons, Myotismon killing pumpkinmon for example, and torturing nyaromon/salamon. However the dub edited some of that stuff, yes we still saw an abused salamon, but Pumpkinmon got "banished" because his death was off screen. Puppetmon had a real gun instead of a toy and so on.

So i would take "Darker" as in the bad guys are bad enough to try and kill our characters (why else would we need weapons?)

I think i'm going to stick with Alex and Penmon, I'll flesh out his bio some more in the next couple hrs- a little tired at the moment for some reason.

Hawk, falco, Hyoko are masculine. Biyo is feminine, along with Palmon, the "type" of digi with the most "feminie" digimon tend to be plants, Rose, Ceres, Lotus, 3 plant megas right there, The only notable female bird megas are Hououmon and Ancient Irismon. So Mother nature, breath of life etc.... it makes sense Once upon a time fire was feminine it represented warmth and life, now its more masculine represneting destruction Wind/water is more feminine perhaps its due to how both water and wind an go from being gentle and calm, to a raging monster without any real warning. Wind seems feminized in almost anything that personifies it, while water seems more 50/50.

Just looking at only the mega levels, I'd say Plants have the most females. Banchou lily, Rose, Lotus, Ceres that makes 4. Angel Im just a little sad that we lack any fiery female digis, I was hoping the Olympos XII would give us a Hestia/Vestamon Goddess of the hearth. Instead the followed the more greek version giving us Bacchusmon(Dionysus) god of wine.

Yeah, some are easier to pass for either than others that is true. It would be a little strange to try and portray a male Angewomon for example, but a female Rhinokabuterimon would be pretty simple.

Though i'd have fun plying a guy who has to biomerge with a more feminine digimon- so much fun could be had in the initial occurrence "Wait what's this where did... are these what i think they are?" "Yes but lease refrain from playing with them we are in the middle of a battle after all." "What.... Why would you think...." even with a female biomerging with a feminine digi- some fun could be had. My main issue is Jupiter with a female human, I'd be to tempted to portray him as a total jerk towards her so I'd rather her have something else. just gotta browse through my list of Digi's i want to use in an RP.

As i pointed out Genji, mine was a WIP , and while i felt like it covered anything just let me know I'll work on expanding Alex's profile tonight after i work on a alternate profile and you can pick whichever one you feel fits better. I just have to think a little bit about what kind of female character I'd want to run, I don't just want to take Alex and swap all the he/she, cause honestly if I'd be to tempted late game for the brash Penmon(as Jupiter at least) to be rather condescending at times, he is inspired by the God of the Sky, ruler of the others, it just seems natural for him to be a bit of a jerk.

Plus on the off chance we get bio merge I'd rather my potential female character have either a more neutral mega or a more feminine mega. Something like Ceresmon Medium only because Giant flying forest would feel a bit OP. If you've seen Savers/Datasquad, the walking city, El Doradimon, I picture the giant earthen bird form to be at least that size. To me that's crazy.

Just putting this out there, since we seem to have only guys- do we want a female character? I can rework/toss up a B profile as an alternative to Alex if necessary.

Hmm trying to think of an alternative to confidence, perhaps Humor? Being a bit of a book worm I could see him taking a while for jokes to register- if they register at all. While Penmon is very playful, and would more than likely be the type to joke around, It could work to open Alex up a bit Alternatively he could potentaily need to work on impulsiveness, since I feel he'd be a little like my self at times, I spend to much time weighing the pros and cons. "If i buy this, now, .... or i could wait for... but I don't really need the other items...." Its hard for me to just Grab buy something on an impulse.
