Bio

I have been actively roleplaying for around 18 years now, since age 15. Which, as you might have guessed, makes me 33. I've done most of my rping on forums, averaging 2 to 4 paragraphs. Though I also LARP, and have played D&D for about 17 years. Real life has become a larger part of my life though, so my activity has lessened. Even so, I don't think I'll ever stop rping. :)

3 of them? O.o Damn... I still have my PS3. :P Though mostly because I'm not interested in the newest generation. Only bloodborne is really interesting to me so far and I won't buy a PS4 just for that. :P
I would personally get it for PC instead if at all possible. Shooters just work better with mouse and keyboard. ^^; Besides, I don't even know if they're available on PS4. They're PS3/xbox360 (and pc) games as far as I know.
The games are indeed a lot of fun. They're even working on a mass effect 4 for Q1 of 2017. Which will apparently be more open world. It'll have different characters some time in the future of the first 3 games' timeline, and you'll be exploring the Andromeda galaxy.

And take your time. I'm just glad we got to get through the first day in our new rp relatively quickly. Which is basically just the introduction. I have two fights planned for the second day. (A minor and major one.) And possibly them joining the adventurers guild undercover so they get to fight more stuff in the future.
I really can recommend it for anyone that likes sci-fi, shooters and rpg's. Though the rpg elements get toned down after the first game. Also a warning, since I don't know how much time you usually have. To play just the main parts of each game takes a good 15 to 20 hours depending on how fast you are. As I've said I'm about 2/3 through ME2 and I've played 22 hours so far. Though I chose to do all missions I could find.

To give a basic review of each game:

ME1:
Fantastic main story with a lovecraftian tone to it. Combat is a bit clunky, partially because it's an older game. Your item selection (weapon/armour mods mostly) is bloated. And most side missions are kinda boring. But it's a lot of fun if you haven't played it before. Just focus mostly on getting your team together and doing the main story.

ME2: Story suddenly gets hugely side-tracked in my opinion. But your choices can have a lot of impact ranging from everyone dies at the end to everyone survives at the end. (hint: crew missions are important.) Combat gets a huge improvement. Items and skills are overly simplified. But there is no bloat at all. Some really good side missions as well. I recommend getting the lair of the shadow broker DLC at the very least as it's fantastic.

ME3: Main story continued from ME1 bascially. Best combat out of the trilogy. Skills are similar to ME2 but improved. Weapon/items are a balance between what ME 1 and 2 had, which is great. Once again crew missions are important. Just keep in mind that the ending will most likely be...very disappointing. The rest of the game is definitely worth playing though!

And finally, for the most fun I'd recommend playing as a Vanguard. A mix between a space mage and a soldier with a shotgun basically. In ME2 you get "charge" which almost teleports you to an enemy and bashes them. Plus you get a shield boost. And in ME3 you also get 'nova'. You strike the ground with space magic which depletes your shield to cause an explosion around you.

In other words, yes you should play it at some point if you can! xD
Heh, decided to play mass effect 2 and 3 again. About 2/3 through ME2 now. It's probably the most tactical I'll ever get in a game. Which in this case means I actually take cover, issue orders for combo attacks, and try to position my squad half-decently. :P The game is still as fun as I remember. Though I'm looking forward more to playing ME3 than finishing ME2. (Since your save file carries over with some choices you made, I decided to play the two in order.)
Sanguine led the way down to the 6th floor. It was annoying to not be able to talk to an npc to just teleport to the floor you wanted to go to. But on the plus side, this body was in far better shape than her normal body. So even though they had to go down 2 flights of fairly long stairs it didn't bother her. Once there, immediately Ryltar appeared before them, bowing as everyone else did. "Welcome lady Sanguine, ser Oliver. Most of my spies have returned with reports for you. This way please." The dungeon looked rather creepy to the woman. Sure she had been down here in the game, but seeing it all in a real world made it all the more creepy. They didn't have to go through any of it at the moment though, as the room they needed to be in was right next to the entrance. Inside was a large table with a few chairs, lit by candle light and currently filled with reports from the scouts. "Okay, let's first organize the reports. I use a system where I put them down in the general locations of where they would be on the map, to get a better picture of what is where." Sanguine explained to Oliver, since she assumed he had come along to help.

There was a lot of information to process, with the guild leader taking her own notes based on what she deemed important. Not to mention discussing things with Oliver in between. And in total it took two full hours to get through all of it. The town she had spotted to the west in the scrying mirror was now confirmed to be a farming village. Though more importantly, behind it was a special forest. Apparently it was infested by goblins and trolls. And one spy had managed to pick up on some kind of powerful magical beast living in the forest as well. To the north were some mountains, though no further information about that yet. To the east laid some kind of border. Probably the border of the country they were in. Though the border was guarded by a fort, and flanked on either side by thick forest as well. Finally far to the south there was a sea or ocean. Once again no further information just yet. It would take more time to see what was beyond their immediate area.

Now that they were done, it was too late to do much more. She may technically be a creature of the night, but she was used to being awake during the day. So sleeping at night like normal would have to do at least for now. Which meant it was probably a good time for bed. "My neck hurts..." Sanguine mused, rubbing her neck a little. "Guess I will have to get used to this kind of thing though. No more comfortable office chair or bed for me." She usually played Yggdrasil while laying down on her bed, but her office chair was still expensive and designed for sitting down for many hours. Design like that clearly didn't exist in fantasy worlds. "I think I'll go to bed. I feel pretty tired, actually. So a long night's sleep will probably do me good. What about you?" The woman asked Oliver, part of her wishing him to join her. Though at the same time just thinking about sleeping in the same bed made her cheeks tint a little red again, too shy to actually ask him to her room.
Oh I'm not complaining. I like my life remaining relatively the same as it is at the moment. But it does mean I generally don't have anything to talk to others about when it comes to my life.
Still just about the same as a few days ago when you asked as well I'd say. :P I have a boring life like that. 80% of the time it's more of the same. ^^;;
Shit happens. Still faster than me a while back where i posted once a week. ^^;; And I figured it would be a short post anyway.
Was already wondering if something was up. :)
