Bio

I have been actively roleplaying for around 18 years now, since age 15. Which, as you might have guessed, makes me 33. I've done most of my rping on forums, averaging 2 to 4 paragraphs. Though I also LARP, and have played D&D for about 17 years. Real life has become a larger part of my life though, so my activity has lessened. Even so, I don't think I'll ever stop rping. :)

Changed my character's picture. He basically got a haircut, has some new gear, and has a glow around him as if he's using threatening aura. Plus the picture is of higher quality.
Alakai had actually not expected himself to act like this. Rushing to other people's aid as soon as there seemed to be trouble. But here he was, acting before he put much thought into it. He immediately activated his threatening aura passive ability, making his whole body glow with a slightly red hue. Immediately the two crabs that had joined later on focused their attention on Alakai. Then with a kick and a few fast but light punches, another one was on him. That left three more, but since Kali had arrived and had already started healing the three other players could surely handle them.

"Thought you could use some help!" Alakai spoke to the three, grinning slightly. "I don't know who you are, but thank you! Without you coming to help us all three of us would have probably died!" Alakai didn't reply, as right now he was focusing on dodging the three crabs attacking him as much as possible while still attacking them a little to keep their attention. The man was glad that they had gone past level 25, so he had his threat skill now. It meant he could mostly focus on the dodging part, as to not strain Kali too much with her healing.

Now that their confidence had returned in the form of a healer, the three players started attacking as well. And with each taking a crab, they all fell pretty quickly. By then Alakai's threat on the remaining three was so high that he didn't need to do anything else, really. He had taken some damage, but Kali had been very quick on the healing so he was still fine. He decided it was time to activate his other cooldown ability; Flowing water. For the next 15 seconds the crabs would basically be unable to hit him, as his body would instinctively dodge attacks aimed at him with 90% accuracy during that time. He then started to focus on attacking alone, the three strangers joining in right away. And before Alakai's ability ran out, the other three crabs were down as well.

A moment later the three slumped down onto the sand. Not because they were hurt, but because they were tired and relieved that they had survived that ordeal. "A tip for next time, guys." Alakai spoke, grinning widely as he felt great after realising how easy those crabs had been with larger group. Just him and Kali would have had trouble, though they would have made it nonetheless no doubt. "These crabs assist each other in an area larger than their aggro range, so it's better to lure them away from others." Before anything else could be said though one of the three, the young female sorcerer to be exact, decided to jump Alakai and hug him tightly. Which resulted in him falling over with her landing on top. "Thank you thank you thank you!" The girl exclaimed. "Resurrection or not, dying really scares me! You saved me! Us!" Alakai's face turned bright red, getting incredibly nervous with a girl other than Kali getting this close. "U-u-uhm...p-please let go. I-I'd like to s-stand u-up again..."

Sounds like the dm is a bit bad at the 'master' part. My parties might have always been good aligned, but at least we got shit done.

Like one time we were guards sent on missions from the king, fought in a war, and became lords with each our own piece of land afterwards.
You still have to ask? :P
"Of course I'm coming." Sanguine replied with a grin. "Though I don't plan to get too drunk. I want to still be able to cast my spells later today, to test spells with the bodies later today." She locked her arm in his as they walked back to the lounge again. They could have done this little meeting in the lounge as well if it was up to her. But the npc's seemed too up-tight for that at the moment. Something that would need to be changed in the future. Being able to have meetings in the lounge with a drink sounded far more pleasant.

Once back in the lounge the vampiress immediately ordered two more beers and one glass of blood. It felt kind of awkward to order blood, but at least it wasn't as bad as the first day any more. Waiting for Oliver to sit down she joined him and leaned against him. "Seems our goals are set for now." She mused idly, figuring she could explain a little bit about her plans. "I thought it would be pretty fun to go questing in this world just like we used to do in the game at least. And eventually I want to see if we can take over this country. Probably forcefully. But since those are the plans we can't just go around pissing off the locals. As far as I know of, tyrannical leaders always meet their end prematurely. So as adventurers we can also build a good reputation. In the end though, us two and the guild will always be the most important. Even if we can create a good public image, I plan to do whatever it takes behind the scenes..." Sanguine wasn't really explaining anything. Just speaking her thoughts out loud. Partially to inform Oliver, and partially because she wanted to know what he thought about such plans. As there would no doubt be plenty of killing, stealing, spying, and other criminal activities to be done. And not nearly always just against the 'bad guys'.
Sure go ahead. :) The guild will have like 10 people in it so enough to choose from. Pick one or two from the 3 man party as well if you want.
"You seem quite eager to get drunk~" Sanguine commented with a slight grin. "Don't worry, I don't plan on making this long. Ten minutes at most." It would take a few minutes for everyone to get together, so they still had a minute or two alone before anyone else came. The woman sat down in her throne, thinking about the question of what to do later once again. "As for later on, after dinner once it's darker outside I might want to take a ride through the forest. I've always wondered what that would be like, so might as well try it out now that I can right?"

A bit later and the first leaders started to show up. It was a bit odd to see some of them be so lifelike though. Specifically Raymond and Greblotz. To see an actual ghost floating into the room gave her chills, and the goblin looked kind of funny, the way he acted. Once everyone was there though, Sanguine immediately started. "You've all been gathered here to be asked one simple question. I want to know what you think of me and Oliver. So, how do you see us?" After that one by one each of the npc's answered in their own way. But it all came down to a single image, really. The npc's saw the two as supreme beings. Not quite gods, but likely as close to a god as a mortal could come. They all also recognized them and the rest of the past guild generals as their creators. Each npc having been designed by a different general, they all remembered someone different. Though they still saw Sanguine as the supreme leader of the guild, having more authority than anyone else. It actually made Sanguine a little nervous about the whole situation. Two gamers like them, revered to such an extend. It just felt...weird. But she didn't let it show while they were all still here.

"Finally, I have formulated the first part of a plan. A goal in this world, you could say. And this first step is information." The vampiress spoke once they were all done. "I'm confident that we are at the very least very powerful in this world, but without sufficient information we can still be surprised. Thus, tomorrow, I and Oliver will be going to the capitol and join this adventurer's guild they have here. Posing as adventurers, we will gain the trust of the locals and find out anything we can." "Just you two?" Jeeves protested. "Please allow one or two of us to come with you. It is our job to protect you, even lay our lives down for you if needed." Sanguine frowned, not quite liking the blind sacrifice they would make just like that. But she chose to leave that for a later time. "No, we will only be going together. This because we will need to spread out our forces. The more spread out we are, the more information we can get at the same time. Everyone will get their own assignments for the nearby future. Jeeves and Daniƫlle both wanted to protest once again, but a single angry glare from Sanguine silenced them before they could even speak.

"Oliver and I will go to E-rantel tomorrow only to gather possible quests. Once we return everyone will be given assignments to carry out. Until then, I suggest that you all mentally prepare to deal with humans. Everyone being sent on quests will have to act nicely to them during their assignments." She hadn't forgotten what kind of guild this had been. A pvp guild, focused on triumph over anyone else. An evil guild, you could even say. And it was starting to become apparent that the npc's had that mindset as well. "You're all dismissed."
Ouch, though to find out your girlfriend doesn't entirely agree with the absolute blast that D&D can be. (for nerds anyway!) I don't get why some religious people think D&D equals satan though. Heck, (evil) roleplay in general. Can't say I'm jealous, especially since I'm an atheist. xD If I had your girlfriend that would probably go wrong really fast...

Anyway, I'm surprised the DM put up with the thief for so long. It's probably a good thing to start over fresh. And I must say I quite like pathfinder. :) My last D&D group that stopped played with it. I played a pyromaniac human sorcerer at level 4 through 6~7 that time. Every time he cast a fire spell he went all "Burn burn burn! Mwahahahaha!" :P
Of course I want. :P Always fun to hear. Also, sorry it's taking a bit longer this time. Haven't been sleeping too well in the last few days... Probably because of the warm weather.
Haha, well that's definitely nice. xD I like DM's like that, giving small rewards for good characters. :)

I think my favourite character so far is still a lv 16 monk. The party was level...18 I believe? But I was lower because he was a half-celestial. I discussed with the DM to get claw bracers with a bunch of enchants on them, and he was one HELL of a grappler. So every time shit broke loose between party members my character would just grapple the instigator to calm things down. xD That, and he could really dish out damage... They had to fight a big worm thing at one point, and my monk did like 200-ish damage in one round. xD

The only thing I didn't like about him was how he was lawful neutral aligned, being monk and since the whole party was goody-two-shoes... I would have loved to play him as lawful evil. :P
