Bio

I have been actively roleplaying for around 18 years now, since age 15. Which, as you might have guessed, makes me 33. I've done most of my rping on forums, averaging 2 to 4 paragraphs. Though I also LARP, and have played D&D for about 17 years. Real life has become a larger part of my life though, so my activity has lessened. Even so, I don't think I'll ever stop rping. :)

Ansel thought it to be a bit of a strange mindset that she'd only fight guild members or for a bet or something. It kinda sounded like she'd only fight with her own family, since she had referred to them as a kind of family. Though there was probably a reason of some kind behind it. Not something he was too interested in asking about at the moment.

After walking in silence again for a while Taunie decided to ask him a question instead. One he hadn't put too much though into himself, actually. "Not really sure why... I guess because I've been doing fine on my own so far? Plus I wanted to see more of the world after Galzra disappeared..." Those reasons were indeed true, but there was an underlying reason even Ansel himself didn't fully realise he had. He was looking for a place to call home, but just hadn't found one yet. He had visited Lamia Scale once, but it's guild master was just way too creepy for his liking. And Phantom Lord when it still existed felt like the kind of guild where he couldn't be lazy. One of his favourite ways to pass time. Plus the place was pretty close to a dark guild in terms of mentality in his mind.

After a few moments of pause he added "Ah, that's the name of my stepfather by the way." He was talking about the earth dragon of course. Unlike most dragonslayers he had some very vague memories of his human parents, so while he respected his dragon parent greatly and did see him as a father, he didn't see him as his first father.
It's fine. I'm impressed you can keep your posts that long when all they're doing is walking and talking. xD

Also, I'd say it's time to move on to arriving at the guild. :)
No biggy. Life's been hectic for you, so it's understandable.
Well, I guess I won't be expecting a post from you before you leave again. ^^;; I had my hopes up a little but ah well. I don't blame you since real life can be a bitch some times. I hope you'll have more time after you return though!
Ansel rolled his eyes when Taunie claimed he was with her. Sure he was promised a free meal, and she was leading him to Fairy Tail. But to imply they were a theme went a bit too far for him. Not that it mattered for now. He had only agreed to see the guild master so far. Nothing else. He decided to just let it be, as right now he had something else to focus his attention on. Namely seeing Taunie's skills in action.

What happened next caught him quite by surprise though. "Eight chains at once..." Valier mused, a look of surprise on his face as well. "Impressive...even most skilled mages would have trouble casting that many spells at once." Indeed, most mages kept to one or two spells at a time. Maybe three at most. Though maybe they were wrong. Maybe it wasn't six spells, but two spells casting multiple chains. Either way, it was impressive. Ansel dropped to the ground, crossing his legs and enjoying the show. At first he thought she might need some help, but that worry was clearly unwarranted.

The fight was over rather quickly though. The enemy group was just a scouting party of cronies, but still it was interesting to watch. Once Taunie was finished she turned to him again and implied they should keep on going like what had just happened wasn't even worth a second thought. He grinned, getting to his feet again and nodded. "Guess so. I had heard rumours of Fairy tail being Fiore's number one guild when it comes to power. And if it has more mages like you those rumours are likely to be true. I might even be interested in duelling you at some point, if you're up for it..." Just like Natsu and Gajeel he wanted to test his strength whenever possible. And this woman that came to pick him up out of nowhere felt like she would be an interesting opponent. Though that was something for another time, if ever. As for all he knew he would be on the road again in a few days. Clearly Taunie intended for him to join the guild, but that wasn't the kind of decision he would make on a whim.
Heh, I think they would be quite the interesting duo. Ansel for large scale power and Taunie for powerful precision attacks.
That's quite impressive, 8 chains at once. I thought the same magic the previous fairy tail guild master also used might not be that powerful. But it's a different story when you can basically be doctor octopus with it. xD

Though then Ansel stomps his feet on the ground once and half a mountain shatters or something... :P
Still having trouble making time for rping huh? ^^;;
Sooo everything okay? ^^;; I know you said it could take a while, but I can't help but wonder what's going on after 7 days...
Alakai doubted that the three were seen as the same kind of nerdy as he had been. There was a reason he knew a lot more than most about the game. And it wasn't because he liked taking walks during his free time. "Well, I guess we'll be doing a trial run to see how things go, and to still any doubts people might have. Trust in each other is the most important part of forming a party." The fish seemed to be just about done, so he took one away from the fire and took a bite. Satisfied, he nodded towards the other fish. "Dig in, they seem to be done." He spoke, taking another bite of the one he had taken. "Anyway, we can save all that for later. Today was supposed to be our day off. So I plan to take it easy until tomorrow."

"In that case-" Josie spoke with a smile. "How about you two come to our guild hall tonight? We may be a small guild, and only have a small guild hall. But our beds are better than the inn, and we have a few spare ones anyway." Alakai looked questioningly at Kali. He wasn't sure if he liked that idea. As it meant having to deal with quite a few people. Even worse...he'd be a guest at someone else's place. He could already think of several ways that could become really awkward for him. But at the same time he could see the advantages. Guild halls usually had crafting stations, so they would most likely have a proper kitchen. Plus, even though the beds in the inn weren't bad, having something truly soft to lay on would be wonderful. And they might even have a bath or something like that. Bathing hadn't really been a thing since they had come to this world, apart from finding a stream or river and getting the worst of it out of their clothes and off of their bodies.
