Bio

I have been actively roleplaying for around 18 years now, since age 15. Which, as you might have guessed, makes me 33. I've done most of my rping on forums, averaging 2 to 4 paragraphs. Though I also LARP, and have played D&D for about 17 years. Real life has become a larger part of my life though, so my activity has lessened. Even so, I don't think I'll ever stop rping. :)

"Wha? Huh?" Alakai responded, still being mostly asleep. It had taken him some time to get asleep again, so if it was up to him he could sleep for another hour at least. "Fiv mo' minutz..." He muttered softly, turning around and closing his eyes again. Though a moment later he could feel something pressing against his cheek. And once again someone called out to him. It was only when she pinched it that he opened his eyes a second time. "Ouch, stop that..." He muttered, still holding on to the idea of sleeping a while longer. But it seemed like he wouldn't get the chance for that any more.

"Fine fine...I'll get up..." He grumbled, not exactly being happy about the alarm clock called Kali that tried to wake him up at what no doubt was way too early a time. "But only if you get me some coffee." He then added. Coffee had been a thing in the game. And even if it didn't taste like it, at least it would help him wake up enough to wake up enough to figure out what was going on.
Well, like I said no pressure since I do have plenty of material to keep things going.
On that note, please do pitch idea's if you have them! I mean, I do have enough material to go on for quite a while, but it's not like everything HAS to come from me. :P
By the way, I can tell you it won't be a simple 'get quest and do quest'. ;) And in the end, Sanguine will have a...'cute' fox pet. I'll leave the details up to imagination until we get there. :P
When Sanguine stepped out of the armoury holding items for mages, by chance, Oliver came out of the door opposite the hall as well. Though not entirely by chance since, even though he had to travel further, she had taken quite a while picking out an outfit she actually liked. In the game it was normal to just wear whatever had the best stats, not caring about appearance. But now that this had become their life it was different for her. She wanted to at least look a bit fashionable when possible.

"Oh! Oliver! Great timing, and I see you also went with lower level gear. Great~" She spoke with a smile. The vampiress hadn't told him that it was probably best to not look too flashy, so she was glad he had thought about it himself as well. "I've given orders for a carriage to come pick us up at E-Rantel in the evening. Since it's about two hours by carriage I figured we could use a portal to get near the gates right now." The portal was one way and once a day only. But it would save them quite some time, leaving more time for potential adventuring. Even if it was just a low level quest, the idea of adventuring for real actually excited Sanguine a little. While gaming she had sometimes wished to be able to experience it for real. And now that wish was coming true. So it was hard not to be excited.

"I just hope the npc's won't cause any trouble." She finally thought out loud. They would surely follow orders. But it wasn't like they were actual npc's any more. So their personalities could become an issue. Even so, a good leader needed to trust their followers, and let them learn if they did make mistakes. "So, you ready to go as well?"
I figured life would still be a bit hectic for you. It's not easy to suddenly get back to regular life after being away for months I presume. :)
Unlike Kali, Alakai only drank in moderation. He wanted to at least keep some of his wit about him since they were still in a strange place with people they didn't know. Even so at the end of the evening even Alakai was feeling the alcohol's effects. He wasn't quite drunk yet, but knew if he had one more drink he would be.

Josie left moments later, Alakai being pushed inside and the door shutting behind him. His face was still completely red, and seeing Kali being so...inviting to join her on the bed only made it worse. Even so, he couldn't deny that the day's events and alcohol were making him drowsy. "Uhm...right...coming..." He mumbled hesitantly, pulling off his shoes and robe, but leaving his pants on. At the very least it would be a tiny bit of a barrier while they were laying in the same bed.

Kali mumbled some things about his great the people were in the guild. Alakai couldn't deny that. Even if it was mostly the alcohol, he had still felt far more at ease than he had expected beforehand. "Heh...I'm reallyn not that great. Just a geek that's into theorycrafting..." Theorycrafting was a term invented for WoW, where people would dig through the game's code to get specific damage numbers and the like to calculate everything as precisely as possible for when you played. But it had started to be used for other mmorpg's as well.

After hesitating a bit longer, the man finally laid down next to Kali. And as she had said, the bed was wonderfully soft. Far better than the room at the inn. It immediately made him relax a little more. "I guess...you're right." He started to answer her final question. "They're nice people. We should seriously consider joining once we're sober." It was best not to make such decisions while drunk or almost drunk after all. "Uhm...good night..." He spoke softly, sounding rather calm. Though in reality he was anything but. Kali was laying so close to him now. In fact, some part of her was touching him. Though he didn't dare look to see what part, instead opting to look at the ceiling. Luckily he could sleep on his back just as well as on his side.
Was starting to wonder if you'd post any time soon. Guess I was right. :P
Taunie could say she was fun all she wanted, but at least when it came to teasing she wasn't. He wouldn't say so, but that meant he wouldn't be teasing her in the future. There was sure to be someone else he could do it to that provided more fun. They arrived at her apartment soon after. And it was basically everything he had expected. The rooms didn't really look girlish, just neat, cementing the fact that she was more tomboyish. Though there was clearly the scent of a woman about this place. Somehow he could always tell the difference, even if he couldn't explain exactly why.

After a quick tour Ansel followed Taunie into the kitchen, deciding to grab a beer as well. It didn't really occur to him to ask for one first though. Having a beer while taking a relaxing bath was great in his opinion, so why not combine the two? "Then I'll be taking a bath. Been a while since I could take a warm one." He spoke, heading to the bathroom. Valier of course followed. He didn't like cold water much, but warm water was pretty awesome. It took him about 15 minutes before he came out again. And it only took him more than 10 minutes because he also had his beer to drink.

Being oblivious as he was about appropriate behaviour though he came out in just his pants, his hair still clinging to and drooping down his head. A towel was hung around his shoulders to catch the water droplets coming from his hair as he preferred to let it air-dry rather than using the towel for it. It would be dry enough in about half an hour anyway. It was now all the more clear that he indeed wasn't fully recovered yet though. partially healed bruises, some burn marks and almost healed cuts were visible all over his body. "Yo Taunie, I'm done! Your turn!" He called to her as he walked towards the living room.
"Long? I was just here early...couldn't sleep for half the night." Sanguine replied with a slight smile. It wasn't like she had been waiting for that long anyway. It sucked more that she hadn't been able to get more sleep though. "Not sure what's for breakfast. The cooks just seem to do whatever they want. Though they haven't disappointed so far of course. For Oliver there was the usual bread, fruit, condiments and other such food. For her however, the menu was quite different. Blood soup, sausages with a blood sauce, and other such things. She sighed a little as she looked at his side. "I'm a bit jealous...you have so much delicious looking food to choose from. Mine all involve blood... Not that it tastes bad. It tastes...indescribably good even. But I'm already starting to miss being able to eat regular food a little." It wasn't worth complaining about though, as there was nothing she could do to change how this body worked. Well, short of turning human again which was probably not even possible.

"Anyway, let's dig in! I'm sure we'll need the energy for today's plans. I wonder if we can get any good quests or if we have to start at the bottom like some anime I've seen." Most likely, only the highest rated quests would pose any 'fun' for them considering how they could beat an entire squad of soldiers with ease in under a minute, but she still hoped at least something like intermediate quests would be allowed.

Breakfast went by as usual. Jeeves was standing next to the kitchen door on standby, though he wasn't needed this time. And once breakfast was done it was time to start getting ready. Sanguine stood, walking over to Oliver's side and handing him two letters. "Here, these are for our two generals Garreth and Jan. They're to create two squads of 10 or so people that will start going around the land posing as travelling mercenaries looking for work. Further instructions are in the letters. I'll go deliver the others." There were three more letters. One of the beast master, ordering her to look for new creatures in the area for testing while leaving the stronger looking ones alone for a later purpose. One for DanĂ¯elle, ordering her to form a small team of 4, picking one to pose as a noble, and attempting to draw out criminal organisations. As Sanguine wanted more information about what criminal activity went on in the land. And lastly a letter for Spymaster Ryltar ordering him to set up a better information network within the guild halls with some basic instructions of how to do so. It mostly came down to magic items for communication being brought to each floor and setting up some chains of command for information flow.

Once all of that was done the vampiress headed towards the armoury. It was time to choose the gear she would be wearing. For one, their top gear would be out of the question. It would draw way too much attention to be wearing several legendary class items together with a bunch of epic ones. There was one world class item she was going to keep with her though. The ring of wishes. It granted one normal wish per week, so it was highly useful on the tiny chance that a worst case scenario happened. Other than that Sanguine decided to go with gear that she thought would be similar in strength to what the holy warrior Bartholmew had been wearing. So probably gear around level 30 or 40. She eventually went with a blue-greyish with fur lining and a hood. It boosted defences and mana regeneration. The hood was important as it meant she wouldn't have to carry an umbrella everywhere. Together with that she grabbed a bag of holding version one, a not too flashy looking staff to boost her magic damage and casting speed, a tome looking like a normal magic book to reduce her summon cooldowns and boost minion stats, and a not too flashy looking short sword with belt scabbard that was unbreakable and had a weak magic damage enchantment on it. She had never used a sword in the game, but maybe in this world she could improve on that. And depending on what they were going to be doing, she figured she could start practising with it today.
