Glad to see there's interest! I may get an OOC up soon-ish so people can have at least a CS to start planning characters out with.
I think it's slowing down a bit. A few posts after Mizuho brings in their characters, we should probably try and have the group at least introduce themselves or something, haha.
Carlos was deep in thought. None of this was in no way normal and every single student seemed to be in the same boat. No recollection of what happened, no anything. Could they have been drugged or gassed? It seemed the most likely to him at the moment.

"Everyone, if you would, calm yourselves--"

"Say, but bashing someone's head in seems fun as well."

Carlos stopped and turned in the furious female's direction as she swung a chair at the nun. He watched as a nearby boy tried to tackle the devout to the ground.

Ryan wasn't very happy with what he was seeing. Everyone was in an awful mood and it was spiraling from bad to worse by the moment. It didn't help that they had someone with what seemed to be a spitfire temper to deal with. He inhaled and tried his hardest to muster up as loud of a voice as he could, but exhaled uselessly when he saw what was going on with the trio in the conflict.

"This isn't getting us anywhere! We need to sit down, discuss who we are and what's going--" He was cut off when he saw Nova swinging her chair. He made his way towards the three, knowing he wouldn't make it in time to make it told he chair but at least he could try and calm the others down.
Accepted!

Sarcastic, how much of our personal affects are still with us?

Things that they usually keep with them are still on them. Their student identification, albeit "modified" thanks to Monokuma, are also on their person,
Valerie's pre-show mantra had to be done in a certain order and had to begin early in the day. First, when she woke up that morning, she would tune her violin and practice the set pieces for one hour. While it would be poorly played due to her groggy state, it'd give her a chance to at least have another shot at practicing. Next would be a shower. Luke-warm. Breakfast. One glass of orange juice and a bagel. Then it would be out for a thirty minute run.

The rest of the day, if she had no work to do or classes to attend, it would be practice, practice, practice. It made perfect after all, and she had to do just that. Be perfect. She knew her band mates would be trying their hardest, but it would slip every now and again:

"You guys can not do less than perfect."

That never went over very well.

Her last part of her ritual was her current one. Taking some distance from the rest of the band and doing some quick meditation. It was weird to have a violinist in a band, not less two of them, and Valerie knew that. To keep up with Russell, she needed as much mental security as possible. Every once in a while she'd let out a hum that sounded similar to some of the notes she'd play at the show.
The IC is officially open! For now, feel free to have your characters simply interact and do what you will. Monokuma will be joining us shortly. I will also be fixing the first post with links to each student.

In other news, the Mastermind has been chosen. Please do not say whether you are or not the Mastermind to anyone else din the RP to keep the mystery a... You know. Mystery! Guesses on who the mastermind is, is of course, fair game.

Hmmm... Here's a thought that I had.I think that once the murderer has picked a victim, they should talk about it with the GM, maybe even roleplay it with each other on a piratepad or something. You know, because victims will react, and possibly kill the person before they get killed, or something goes wrong or whatever. It'll help determine the clues and stuff too~I dunnoMight be too complicated though

I remember two RP's that did murder exactly this. I'll vouch for the idea, as long as it isn't done over RPG PMs. IM/Shared documents are better for it.

I really like this idea. Is everyone fine with this, or have any questions/other ideas?
Prologue: O, Say Does that Blood Streaked Banner Still Wave?

Dear Prospective Student,

We would like to happily inform you of your acceptance into Unity Academy. Your interest has in turn sparked our interest, as we wish to include only the best and brightest into our fold. Tuition is not a problem in the first year of your education here. Come spring, you will all be asked by your personal school counselor if you wish to continue courses here, and if so, which courses you will take.

We cannot wait to meet you, and wish you a good rest of the summer.

Signed,
Unity Academy Administrative Team

Carlos awoke in a dimmed auditorium, sitting on a stage. The last thing he remembered prior to awakening was setting foot inside Unity Academy. The auditorium looked barely used and looked relatively new, but at the same time held a certain layer of fakeness about it. As if it was a parody of what a school auditorium was supposed to be.

Looking around him, the golden-tongued teen noticed fifteen other teenagers surrounding him. One dressed in religious garb, one in cosplay, one in camouflage, and others with more subtle quirks that told more than they probably knew.

"...What happened?" The normally smooth-talking man finally spat out.

~

"...What happened?" That was the prime question in Ryan's mind. He thought maybe he slipped when he entered the academy and blacked out, but he felt no oah whatsoever. He just felt tired and groggy if anything. He ran a hand through his blonde hair before standing up and staring out at the auditorium.

....Cardboard cut-outs lined the chairs of their "audience". It gave a semblance of cuteness but had the presence of an uncanny valley. Like something didn't just feel right. He knew at least a few of the other fifteen students felt the same.

Was this real? It felt real. But it seemed like a dream.

"Permission to ask if anyone knows what is going on here?" His mannerisms as a cadet did not falter too much.
A millennia has past since Kamen Riders as you know them. Technology has changed but the world has not. There is still chaos running rampant and heroes of Justice who stop the chaos. They call themselves Kamen Riders.

Kamen Riders have become a day to day occurrence as both the good, the evil, and the civilians now own Rider Belts. Some of the belts are mass-produced (yet altered) versions of past belts while others are custom-made to that user's desires.

Once every four years, Kamen Riders far and wide are called to Tokyo, Japan to fight in a mass battle festival called the Mirai Taisen, or "The War of All Time." Good Riders, bad Riders and those inbetween all convene in one city so one can be crowned The Rider Above All Riders and gets a chance to harness the pure power of all riders of the past (something that no champion of the Mirai Taisen has achieved.)

With those who wish to harness the past Rider powers for good or evil, a strange set of rules set in place, and no clear victor in sight, what will be the outcome of the newest Mirai Taisen?
Christian and Nova are accepted! With this, we have our sixteen Vic-- ah I mean characters!

Expect an IC post soon!
