See, the army gets you like that, because they do have tents, and sleeping bags and air mattresses and portable stoves, but the tents are for ten people, but only realistically fit five, the sleeping bags are... interesting... and the portable stoves are just as likely to go up in flames as they are to cook your food.
That sounds a lot more fun than what we do in the field...

It's not a hike, all the units going are mechanised. We all get trucks, and we fuck around in the suck until the Commandant says we can go home.

So I had a long weekend this weekend, and it was rather hectic, and then last night, the last night of my weekend, I decided to move into a new apartment, so things have been all kinds of crazy, which is why you haven't heard from me. I don't even have a chair to sit on right now. I will do my best to keep up and get replies out ASAP, I just don't know when that will be. Also, just a heads up, I may be going on a two-month exercise in april until like june.
