@Dirty Pretty Lies it's 2 here too!
Adam smiled and stood up. "Hey, man. What's up?" He moved his guitar around his back and stuck out his fist for a fist bump. Adelisa smiled softly and said "hi" before sending a playful glare Jess' way. Adam said "you guys can follow me!" Adelisa smirked slightly at Adam's happiness. He got in a full day of practice. No wonder he's so happy. Adelisa glanced up at Caden every once in a while before looking over at Jess and saying "what's the plan tonight?"
Adelisa looked at Jess and shrugged. "I don't care. I'm just… nervous I guess? What if the necklace thing is real, you know?" Adam sighed and said to Jess "what she's saying is she doesn't mind. At all." Adam looked up at Adelisa and said "weren't you complaining that you'll never find that person? Well, now you have, so take your chance."
Why would I mind? I'm cool with whatever.
Adam smiled crookedly and said "it's fine. You can just put it over your shirt for now." He removed his leather jacket and wrapped it around her shoulders. "There." He smiled at her. He knew she was a bit uncomfortable, seeing as her shirt was becoming more and more transparent, but Adam wasn't going to make her more embarrassed. It wasn't who he was.

Adelisa watched as Caden walked off from behind a crowd of jocks. She sighed in relief and made her way back to Adam and Jess. When arrived, Jess was wrapped in Adam's jacket and Adelisa smiled. She said "here's your water, Jess." She glanced at Caden for a second and Adam noticed her pale complextion becoming paler. He asked "is everything alright?" Adelisa snapped out of her daze and looked back at Adam.

She said "I… um… I may have found another person with my necklace." Adam's eyebrows rose in shock.
"At the expense of others? If it were just a compliment then I would not have said anything, but you tried to use Beatrix. How do I know? Simple: the look in your eyes tell tales. She is a beautiful woman, strong and incredibly intelligent, but the fact isn't whether you're her uncle and you can compliment her as you see fit or not. It is that you had other intentions that weren't just complimenting your niece." She rolled her eyes at how high and mighty the man made himself seem.

It was truly ridiculous that he presented himself in a way that made it seem everyone was lower than him. He may be older than her, but he did not seem wiser than a five year old with his little stunt.
Adelisa giggled softly at the statement about humans. Of course she would be the one to point that out. She also took note not to let the bearded new comer touch her, as if she'd let that happen anyway. She smirked in amusement at what Alistair said and mumbled to herself "well, those topic choices are interesting start up conversations." She realized how sarcastic she sounded and she stopped herself from saying anymore. Of course, this was a meeting. They weren't there for pleasantries.

She looked over at Beatrix and smiled softly before looking at the darkly clothed man that helped them earlier. She said "she does look absolutely beautiful, doesn't she? Unfortunately, the eyes that are wandering her beauty are trying to use that against her own family. Now doesn't that just seem petty to you? Or is it that they are envious of her beauty, to which I say they do have a surgery for such thoughts." She smiled sweetly, but it was laced with poison. No one deserved to be a pawn in a jab to someone else's family.

Adelisa may have only been invited into the family for a short while, but they were kind enough to take her in. She would do anything for that kindness. Even if it meant standing up for someone who didn't particularly like her. Besides, the man was obviously trying to use Beatrice's feminine prowess to set off a fire, so she thought it best to slap it back at him.
Adelisa smirked slightly and said "no no it's fine! I'm fact, I've got this." She took his beer and started sipping from both of them. Adam looked at Jess, concerned. "Adelisa, go get Jess some water. She looks like she needs some after all that." Adelisa nodded and continued sipping on her beer while making her way over to the drinks. She accidently bumped Caden as she walked and she looked up to him, saying "Oh gosh! I'm sorry about that!" She only took a glance at his necklace and almost gasped. They had the same color? She looked back up at him and said quickly "um… yeah… sorry!" before rushing over to the cooler next to the beer.

She hid behind a few drunkards as she dumped out Adam's beer and grabbed a water. It was the least she could do.

As Adelisa walked away, Adam said "are you okay? Do you want to borrow my shirt?" He glanced down at her drenched clothing and back up at her. She was a very pretty girl, but Adam had found his soulmate already. He wasn't going to hurt Lola like that even if they were just friends.
Adelisa almost jumped out of her skin when Grant sat down next to her and she sighed. "You know I'm nothing like Delilah." She smirked solemnly. Maybe that's why we broke up in the first place she thought. She looked at Grant and said "you look good, Grant." She stood from her seat as she finished off the last of her vodka and said "but your friend over there?" -pointing at Jareth- "not so much. You should go help him get cleaned up."

She walked away. It wasn't the easiest moment, and talking to Grant didn't help her self-esteem, but she knew she had too. She swayed her hips as she left, but looked at Jareth one final time and saying "I really want that guitar back. Got it?" before smirking slightly. "Also, you've got a bit of martini… well… everywhere." With that, she left the claustrophobic restaurant and made her way to the beach.

She hadn't noticed she was crying until a tear fell on her lip. She wiped them away and sighed. How was it okay that, even though Grant and her remained friends, she still cried after he and her part ways? Oh, she knew. It was because of the reason they broke up. Only their close friends knew about their relationship. Not even their parents knew and they had been dating for a while. How could she not notice that everytime they hung out, it was somewhere no one else would notice?

She shook her head and took in a deep breath. Adelisa, calming herself down, walked over to a few lounge chairs on the beach in the line of view of the restaurant. She grinned slightly and bent down to adjust the lounge chair to her preference. As she did so, she heard someone clear their throat behind her and she jumped up and turned. It was tattoo guy from the restaurant. He was with a group of friends and she noticed one of those friends being the guy Delilah was eyeing. She grinned flirtatiously and said "well, what brings you boys over to my side of the tracks?"
