Addy took a sip of her drink as he commented on bluntness. She was always blunt. That was something she needed and preferred in a man: telling it like it is. "Well, I'm certainly not offended, unless of course you didn't mean it." He was quite sly, and she certainly didn't mind that. She smiled and said "I try to mean everything I say, especially when it comes to how attractive someone is and you definitely are attractive."
The next few sentences had made her heart leap out of her chest, if it hadn't already. He was so good looking, smart, funny, and kind. She may not be a believer in destiny or seeing a future with someone, but she definitely hoped tonight didn't end. She wasn't prepared to meet someone like him and, in all honesty, she had no clue what to do about it. She was scared, no terrified, to be so attracted to a person within first meeting them but she knew she struck gold when blue met brown eyes.
What a soulful pair they were as he said "Now, if might also be so blunt, I want you. In only a few short moments you have proven to be gorgeous, talented, and funny. I’m dying to know what else you have hiding behind those baby blues. Dance with me?" She just about died. He was going to break her heart, she could sense it; but she smiled and said "well, if we're both being blunt, then I must say that you are hot, smart, witty, and a damn good artist. You can ask me just about anything as long as I can make you smile. As for dancing, I would love too."
Addy lightly grabbed his arm, her tiny hand gripping his tricep and smiling up at him. "We should do a duet sometime. I think we'd make sweet music together" she said flirtaciously, but also hoping that it does happen eventually. They had so much in common already that she wanted to see just how harmonious their voices are. She looked at him and smiled excitedly. She never thought she'd end up like this, but she guessed her wishes had been granted...
Be careful what you wish for...
