Name: Dr Jennifer Roland
Age: 24
Gender: Female
Position: Psychopathic Doctor
Personality: Jennifer suffers under the delusion that the human body holds the secret to controlling the Nanomachine Swarm (codename: Walrider) and is convinced that only through dissection and vivisection can this secret be uncovered. She can occasionally show a sadistic side when a subject catches her interest but, for the most part she approaches her butcherings with cold scientific precision. Unlike most residents of Mount Massive, Jennifer is mostly lucid and more or less aware of the situation around her.
Other: Jennifer uses a scalpel as her weapon of choice and carries a number of tranquilizer syringes on her person, preferring to take her victims alive for future vivisection. In an absence of living victims, she will settle for dead bodies to dissect.
Appearance:History: Jennifer Roland graduated at the top of her class from medical school and became the coroner of Leadville, Colorado. Unfortunately she ended up losing her job after a scandal involving the loss of a murder victim's body which resulted in the suspect walking. Blame for the incident was thrown around and Jennifer was made into a scapegoat. Fired and on the verge of losing her license, Jennifer was approached by the Murkoff Corporation and offered a job at Mount Massive Asylum. In desperation Jennifer agreed to work for them without a second thought and Murkoff intervened with the Colorado Medical Board to make sure she kept her license.
Jennifer's work at Mount Massive consisted of performing the autopsies on deceased Variants and, while at first she found the science behind Project Walrider fascinating, she couldn't help but be horrified by the effects of the Morphogenic Engine. Over time she began to have doubt about the likeliness of the project's success and sent multiple requests for reassignment, all of which were ignored. Her nervousness about possible blowback from the project continued to grow, torturing her with stress. And then Billy Hope unleashed the Swarm and Mount Massive went to hell.
Only through sheer luck, was Jennifer able to avoid being killed in those first few chaotic hours. She ran and hid but still witnessed horrors that pushed her to very edge of insanity and beyond. As her already stressed mind broke under the weight of what she had witnessed, she became convinced that the Walrider was the key to her survival. If she could control it then none of the Variants, nor any of Murkoff's goons would be able to harm her and she could just walk out the door. She reasoned that something in Billy Hope's physiology had allowed him to command the Walrider, but as she was cut off from the Morphogenic Engine Chamber, she would have to settle for looking through the insides of the Asylum's other residents until she uncovered the secret.
