Hey guys and gals! I am a sixteen year old (almost seventeen! woo!) girl from the Northwest part of the United States. I am a writer, mostly fantasy or Sci Fi books. Emerald blushes furiously at the comment and rubs the back of her neck. "No one has ever told me that before. Most people see her--" She jerks her thumb toward her sister. "-- and they only see me when she steps out from in front of me." She sighs and the plant begins to stroke her arm. She smiles and touches the plant gently, releasing it from her control. It rolls back out the window and she looks back to Fiera. "I'm always in her shadow and no one ever sees me because she is older." She sighs and runs hand through her short hair.

"Yeah, me and my twin sister are," Emerald says as she points over at Eliza, who has hardened her snowflakes on her fingers as ice.

"Well that's good," Eliza says with a small sigh. "Emerald and I rarely get out. Our parents are over protective because the place where we come from, it is not allowed for there to be hybrids of any species. They sent us here because they wanted us to hide for a little bit while an investigation was going on." She frowns, thinking of her parents. "It will be interesting what the investigators find." As her mood changes, the ice freezes on her fingers, turning them into claws.

"Nobody has ever called me that before," Emerald says. "I don't think I have ever heard that phrase before." She smiles at the fire girl. "I'm Emerald. I'm a fairy elf hybrid. Are you some type of fairy? I don't believe I recognize your kind, and fairies are the only beings that I have ever seen that can control the elements."

Eliza laughs and says, "No, not a botanist. She is able to control the plant life around her. As in draw plants toward her, make them die, make them grow faster... We are both magical, considering we are of fairy blood." She smiles as he talks about swimming. "I shall have to come and see you swim some time, as you will have to come and see me run." She begins to twirl snowflakes around her fingers. "It should be interesting coming here. I've near been among so many... supernaturals before."

Emerald takes a deep breath and stands up. She smooths down her shirt and walks over to Fiera. She pauses in front of her and says, "Hello." She is so nervous that the plant branch that she had been messing with earlier has followed her up the aisle and wraps itself around her wrist.

Does anyone want to talk to Emerald? She's kinda sitting alone... in the back... by herself...
Eliza smiles and says, "That's still pretty cool. My fraternal twin sister back there, Emerald, she has the ability to control plants. You might get along well with her. She is pretty quiet though..." She frowns at the thought before smiling. "But anyways, do you do any sports or anything? I'm a pretty good track runner myself." She smiles and laughs. "People think I cheat because my feet barely touch the ground." She flutters her wings again to prove her point.
Eliza looks over her shoulder at Beck and smiles softly. Her wings flutter, shedding a little bit of fairy dusk and glitter around her seat. "Nice to meet you as well." She holds out her hand and another ice sculpture begins to form in it as well. It spells out his name and she smiles. "Beck is a very nice name." She sets the ice down on his desk and makes sure that it won't melt by creating its own little snow cloud above it. "I missed your introduction. Do you have any special abilities?"
