I'm with Schradinger here, Boerd.

*implodes* ;)
Hmm... Link to the relevant info? I've only just started looking into matter-antimatter interactions.
Why would you use 2 times the speed of light for that calculation?

No, one kilogram blows up with 53 megatons. It annihilates not only itself, but a kilogram of matter.

How do you get 53 megatons out of that? 21.5 x 2 = 43.

Though that's not how it works anyway. The kilogram of antimatter collides with the kilogram of matter and they both annihilate each other to produce an explosion with 21.5 megatons of force. The explosion (and calculation of force) happens after they're combined, not before.
I've been looking forward to creating a high tier to play with the big boys, and I would prefer to keep them.

Also, the only big power/character argument I remember seeing that didn't involve Beta (I'm using this qualifier because you've demonstrated an exceedingly volatile and purposely argumentative disposition, not to target you, Beta. Every argument you've been in since I arrived could have been solved with a tenth of the headache if you'd been open to other opinions), was over an intermediate character. Not a high-tier. That should pretty well speak for itself.

Wiki has failed you.

Nah. I failed me. Wiki had kilogram. It was my brain that switched them around on me.
Oops... Sorry. I meant Kilogram. Heh. >_>

woah woahLet that go off, and we will have one playable location less.

Why? the earth deals with more energy than that from the sun every minute (or every two minutes in the case of the 70,000 megaton explosion). Sure, focusing it all in one place is gonna have some nasty effects, but it's not going to break the planet. Heck, big earthquakes apparently release more energy than that by several orders of magnitude... Erde could very well have more planetary damage potential than Boerd's entire ship.

Wikipedia ftw! Lol.
Then how the hell does he ever get hurt?

I'd drop it from space, of course. The self destruct is what happens if you aren't careful in how you kill the ship. There are 1600 kilograms of antiprotonium aboard, which is why he isn't usually allowed to operate in populated areas. The annihilation of all that antiprotonium would have tremendous implications, namely a 74080 megaton explosion. Garrett is flying the biggest bomb in history. Destroy the ship incorrectly, and that bomb goes off.

Wouldn't it be a 17,200 megaton explosion? Since the maximum yield of one kiloton of matter being annihilated is 21.5 megatons, and apparently half that gets released as neutrinos in proton-antiproton annihilation. Assuming Wikipedia hasn't been ninja'd.
