Jonas stands up from his seat. He is wearing a colourful garish shirt with a picture of a setting sun, Khakis and olive green athletic shoes. Clearly his wife did not see what he had picked out.

Jonas politely scans the room, silently remarking to himself about the young age of his companions.

Choosing whom he assumes to be the most likely interesting conversationalist, he approaches Layla and says, "Hi, my name's Jonas. I'm going on vacation with my wife and kids to The Resort. Have you been there?" after she responds, (he wasn't really listenning yet) he asks, "I'm sorry, I didn't catch your name. Also, what do you do - I mean for a living?"
Name: Jonas Mint
Age: 40
Gender: Masculine
Appearance: 6'6" Cyborg
Job: Computer programer / hacker
Bio: Jonas was a "love child", and due to the lack of genetic guidance, he was born deformed. Fortunately fitting him with neural interfaced prosthetic arms and legs was simple. He never got rich, so he never upgraded his cybernetics beyond the normal unenhanced versions, even though he worked for the company that produced them. He is about to go on vacation - his wife and daughters are already waiting for him at the hotel.
NOT A CHARACTER HERE

Name: MARS DeeT (Multifunctional Autonomous Robotic Security Drone TI100200177)
Age: 40
Gender: Masculine
Appearance: 7'6" Android
Weapon: Non-lethal club, lethal force gun
Job: Private Security
Bio: Mars rolled off the production line 40 years ago, and 20 years ago, when it was time to "retire", his aging human supervisor purchased the droid, and upgraded his AI. Mars acted as companion for Janice until she died 15 years later. Mars has developed something of a personality, but is still in the self-programming phase of his personality subroutines. His emotion simulators were replaced with biomimicry neuro-circuits, so theoretically, his emotions are 'real'. Despite his freedom, he has chosen to follow the Asimov Laws. Perhaps this was to placate the prejudiced, but he always felt that the Laws were valuable regardless of motivation. Except the 2nd law. He conveniently forgets the 2nd law frequently. Mars was on his way to start a new job when the ship crashed.
The world has just been created.
Choose your race (any, pending GM approval), and name your race’s immortal leader.
You have 50 points to distribute between STRength, CONstitution, INTelligence, MAGic, and POPulation. No stat can be less than 5 or more than 15.
STR primarily affects your physical fighting ability.
CON primarily affects your susceptibility to disease, etc.
INT primarily affects your ability to learn, and adapt.
MAG primarily affects your ability to deal with magical threats.
POP factors in mortality rate, life span, generational span, reproductive rate etc. Expanding your territory uses this statistic.

Each round is 25 years.
You have 2 moves each round, usually to gain a technology for a buff, or to expand.

Every round, I roll against your stats using a d20, applying relevant checks. For each failure, I determine an applicable challenge, based off of how bad you fail, and where you are. For example, an intelligence failure may mean your tribe settled on a floodplain, and now you have to face a flood. Then, I roll against the highest skill that seems relevant to that challenge, and apply any skills you may have.

Attribute checks can critically succeed or fail with a roll that is -+10 from the aim. Eg. Your skill a 14 and roll a 4, is a critical success. A 1 is always a critical success. Crit successes mean good things happen.

As a free move, you can do a self check against your intelligence to see your stats (including buffs). If you succeed, I will show you either your best or worst stat (that you don’t already know, or correct a previous failed check) Critically succeed, and I will show more stats. If you fail I may show nothing, or I may give false data depending on how bad the fail is.

I will reward RP, but not unfairly. If you encounter a fellow PC, you may either RP the encounter in a message circle between yourself, myself, and the other PC, or you may state your intentions - in which case I will roll / judge for the outcome.

Post or PM me to apply.

Once started, each round will be no more than 1 week (if I can help it). If you don't post in time, your 2 moves will automatically be to develop a skill you have started, and attempt an expansion.

Below is the starting map:

Would it then be your world? Wouldn't you belong to the world if you were in it rather than the reverse? And if so, would that also mean that you are nonsense, or would the state of nonsense only extend to that thing which is erroneously called 'everything'?

If it was written well, and in the style of Lewis Carol, I would adore an RP in this world!
I have always thought highly of RPing, though I have rarely had the opportunity. I am hoping that this will be a positive learning experience and tonnes of fun!
Name: Sdrontum
Species: Kami
Background: Sdrontum and her twin were created from the rock debris of her parents in the land of Psetna. She is a Kami. Kami are animated rock. Although they cannot be killed, their bodies can be reduced to the constitution of a single proton. They grow and heal through meditation (+.5% of her current mass per minute of meditation), accumulating inorganic material in a telekinetically coalesced body. Although they retain all of the memories of their parents, they have their own souls and ambitions. She can go where she chooses when she chooses, but eventually she will experience a nearly unbearable urge to return to her home universe.
Notable Skills:
-Telekinetic manipulation of inorganic objects (using force up to 4x her current mass).
-Ability to fit through small spaces by moving one rock from her body at a time, so long as no part is more than half of her normal height distant from the majority of her mass.
