Thank you! I'll make the necessary adjustments to my characters and send you the details. Believe it or not, I've transformed your CS skeleton into a TS (tank sheet).
@Section I believe it is now 2029

Gotcha, and we keep the current date of the beginning of the end as around 2014-2015?
Woah, woah, woah, changes! And here I was beginning to make the outlines of the characters of the crew! Alright, so, to make things clear, when would you say complete collapse has taken place? Do we still have the present date of 2037?
@Section Did you not see my post halfway down the page about the tank? ;_;

I did, and I'm taking it into consideration! How could I denounce such good ideas? I'll be giving it a lot of thought as I work on my CS(').
@MatthiasAngel

Sorry didn't know the details of fallout because I don't really get into video games just looks FPS from the commercials

Oh, with how Fallout 4 is, I'm not surprised at all that you got the impression it was a FPS.

Alright, so I did some thinking (a surprise, considering I'm on vacation) and I think how it'll go is that most of the time, my main character will spend time away from the tank, probably as the designated scout. I'll probably make a few minor characters, basically NPC's too spruce up life a bit and if I ever feel I need another character, I can give more detail to them. For now, I'm still looking at possible vehicles, looking at private collections in the US and museums that have working vehicles, so I can find a place to grab one from. :3
APC quote, snippy snippy.

Believe it or not, I was actually considering an APC as well, I'm still in a dilemma about it, because a tank might actually be more fun in how impractical its. Like, people would need to sit on top (a Soviet T-72, as I was considering, only has a crew of three maximum), along with supplies, any loot, making choosing what and who to take a big dilemma. Plus, I feel it's a very romantic idea, people sitting on top of a tank, rumbling through the overgrown cities of this setting.

On the other hand, APC's are much more practical for the reasons you mentioned and, for civilian characters, a lot easier to maintain (wheeled ones are closer to cars), plus there's still the possibility of people sitting on top, just not as romantic as a tank to me. But the claustrophobia idea is definitely an interesting one. The dilemma comes down to it being practical or impractical. Impractical could be a lot of fun to write, with all the challenges of it, but practical is, well, more practical and maybe realistic.

Anyway, glad to hear the OOC will be up relatively soon, even if I'm back to school after the weekend... I'll try to find some pictures for you, @vermillion, but in the meantime sso people can start working on characters, do you have any particular ideas for character sheet templates yet?
Heir Name:Prince Moros XIII
Common Name: Shin

Age: 18

Gender: Male

Weapon/Abilities: Shin wields a blade titled "King Eater", the sword traditionally held by the greatest men of his dynasty. It is a sword that can grant incredible, superhuman, even demigod-like power, from amazing strength, powerful endurance, the quickest reflexes possible and myths even state that it can grant magical abilities unknown to most men of his world. No one knows from where the sword came, only that it has an unwritten history that stretches back further than any kingdom of man. In the past, it was used to decimate armies and break sieges, though in this age of apparent peace, it has fallen into disuse. One might wonder why, with such power, and only those who carry it or are destined to carry know the answer.

The answer lays in the curse the sword carries, for it gives great power, but demands the most important part of the wielder; their heart. Power can be given at the will of the user, but the more power that is given, the more of the heart is taken. The heart is only given back when the sword is allowed to consume a heart by killing something with its own heart. Whether this is a human being, still with light in their heart, a heartless, the manifestation of a heart conquered by darkness, or anything else bearing a heart, it must be killed for the sword to return the taken parts of the wielder's heart. Too long without killing will also make the King Eater consume the heart, if it's currently giving power.

Shin, being quite handy with a sword and quite a few styles of swordsmanship, which he synthesizes into his own style, wields this sword in a proud manner, though he isn't afraid of making use of its powers to give him a boost in battle, even if the full extent of its abilities is actually unknown to him. He's also fairly good at unarmed combat, knowing a few throws and he knows how to give a good punch as well. However, he has only a passing level of knowledge of magic, for in his world, it is a power reserved for when he would have become king. To heal himself, he relies on a decent knowledge of first aid and field medicine and frequently, he leans on King Eater to help him recover in battle.

What he lacks in pure strength, he makes up for in reflexes and agility, choosing more often to dodge attacks than block them, unless it's totally necessary. Putting him into a situation where he needs to block is his Achille's Heel, as often times, Shin is unable to parry.

Personality: As former heir to the throne, Shin appears to be a respectful, honorable and serious young man. He is well-educated and groomed in the image of a great king so that he might one day inherit the kingdom and rule over it benevolently, though with an iron fist. Polite to those who make themselves superior to him, his upbringing is easily visible in every action he makes, from the way he walks in public, to the way he eats at feasts, to the way he sips his coffee after a meal, to the way he carries his sword and himself; the list goes on and on, he is the spitting image of prince, an exemplary image of royalty and the ideas of chivalry he was raised on, perfectly happy to help anyone who asks for his assistance, and kindly giving to those with less than him. On the contrary, though, many people get a cold gaze from his clear blue eyes.

This trait is antithetical to the trues feelings within him, as within his heart, an ambition like none other burns, giving him a push in everything he does. Rash and yet tactical, though he may give services to others, to him, these are only secondary objectives compared to his greatest ambition, every action he takes is for his own gain. This doesn't change the fact that there may actually exist a certain kindness in him, but it is smothered by his violent drive for glory, bred by years of degradation at the hands of those he believed he could trust the most. Due to this, mercy is a concept nearly unknown to him, though it could certainly grow within him.

Shin is smart, he chooses his battles and though he may appear to be a wanderer, an exile from the kingdom he was meant to be the powerful ruler of, he doesn't walk blindly, seeking ahead of him and being more than ready to do what is necessary to achieve his greatest goal, no matter the price.

Bio: When this story begins, eighteen years ago to this very day, Crown Prince Moros XIII was born to king Tromeros I, the firstborn son of this elderly king. Though he had been on the throne for many years, Tromeros had only chosen to build his family at an old age, after years of cementing the royal power once and for all, even in an age of peace. Moros would inherit this power and would rule over a kingdom that both feared and adored a king who was considered divine and benevolent, but unquestionable and tyrannical, sitting the throne with the sanguine blade King Eater at his side. As such, Moros was raised in the best conditions through his childhood, already playing the king among the children in their games. He was pampered and educated by the greatest tutors of the realm and he was adored by the nation and by his parents.

This changed when he was barely twelve years old, upon the death of his mother and the beginning of the slow descent into insanity by his father. In the days that came, among mourning and sour treatment of Moros by those around him due the general atmosphere, he saw more and more often King Eater drenched in the blood of those who angered King Tromeros. Suddenly unsatisfied with his only child, Tromeros decided one day out of the blue to adopt the child of one of his cousins who had died at his own blade. This child, Erebos, was older than Moros and thus took his place as Crown Prince. Moros was given the common name of Shin, as it was decided that he would never take the throne and soon he found the court turned on him. His father blamed him for the death of his mother, even if he had nothing to do with it, his tutors treated him like an imbecile and he became the toy of his older brother, Erebos, who had taken his place in every matter. Though Shin was still trained in the arts of swordsmanship and combat, he was considered less than a servant and every day became a sort of torture to him. His only goal became to take the throne for himself and be where he rightfully belonged, though it was totally unknown to him how he could do it.

Thus, he dived into the castle archives and looked for any way he could find power. Written in old, ancient books, he found the true power of King Eater, unknown to Erebos and his father, but he realized that if he killed either, he would be declared an usurper and a kinslayer and he would never have the power he desired and deserved. He would have to keep looking and he kept looking, day after day, until he made a discovery within the oldest of tomes, a log of the building of the old castle he had lived in all his life. Deep within the most antediluvian corridors of the citadel, there was a portal to another world. This linked him to another book, which revealed to him the existence of countless other worlds, some similar to his and some totally unlike his. And within these worlds, there lived beasts and beings that made the most powerful beast of his world look like a kitten in comparison. Shin hatched a plan in secret.

Taking King Eater from his father, now infirm and with Erebos soon to take the throne, he would escape into another world and he would adventure through these worlds to slay and claim the power of not only the greatest beast that could ever possibly be known, not only the greatest living being, but something even greater. Days later, on this present day, he would step through that portal with guards on his trail with one ambition in mind:

He was going to kill a god.
I'm gonna approve this and say that quantity and quality wise, this is one of the best Character Sheets I've seen on guild.

You have not seen many, then! I came out of writing that one, even the second time, feeling definitely average x3

Good to hear though, and thank you! I hope people will pitch in with more interest soon, I'm excited to see this take off.
@Section We will probably put it to a vote and or scatter players over an area.

Right, sounds reasonable, but what about country-wise? I'm gonna take a wild guess and say some place in North America? It's a good continent for post-apoc RPs as we don't have all the problems with language differences that Europe and the rare Asian countries have, plus most people tend to know how NA typically is.

Actually, I'm curious, what kinds of characters, technologies and things in general are actually off-limits in this? You said earlier that the technology is what we'll see in a year from now, but if we're talking about secret organizations, that kind of opens up new horizons for strange things.
@Section

So a roaming gang in an old tank that occasionally shuts down and runs on heavy amounts of fuel? Sounds interesting - ammunition would be extremely rare, though even scrap ammo would destroy most targets with the addition of an explosive.

We can talk further.

I'm actually thinking of going for a foreign tank (out of a museum, a private owner, something along those lines) to make ammunition not just rare, but a limited resource that they'll eventually run completely out of, depending on where this takes place. Perhaps a post-Soviet tank? But yes, huge amounts of fuel, they can expect about an hour or so of driving each time and only a bit of distance, its advantage being its armor, its carrying capacity (for camp supplies) and intimidation factor.

Do we have any idea of where this will be taking place, on that note?
