Holy shit.

Another commie!

Marxist myself. Always nice to see another filthy no-good red hereabouts!

Greetings, comrade! The feeling is very mutual! :D
Alright, posted! It's a bit short, but there's not much I can do for now, still managed to do the mandatory three paragraphs. Hopefully, things should start opening up and I'll be able to write more soon.

Well, that went great! Eidel thought to herself, beaming inside. And now, with the girl turned towards her, she could get a good look at her. She had blond hair, or perhaps it was light brown? Her eyes were of quite the nice blue-ish grey-ish color and she had clean looking pale skin. It was an appearance that suited her apparently shy demeanor, as she stammered to reply to Eidel, she felt a bit awkward as well. In a way, it almost felt like she cornered the poor girl, who seemed to be quite shy, not unlike herself. Well, she'd make up for it! At least, she hoped she would. Handing her the bottle of water, so cold that she had trouble carrying it, Eidel was about to make a gesture for her to follow and lead her on through the arcade, when she saw a guy get up for another StreetBrawler cabinet, get up, give a thumbs-up and a smile to the girl as he walked away.

A friend? Maybe even a boyfriend? Eidel looked on curiously as the rather good-looking, if not a little scruffy, man walked away and headed to other cabinets. Looking back at his machine, he had left an excellent score and she almost wished she could challenge him. Leaving it all to mystery for the time being, Eidel shrugged and made a gesture for the other girl to follow once again, glancing at things as she walked. She saw which games were open, paused every once in a while, then continued on, until she reached a cabinet with two guitars hanging off it. Eidel wasn't especially good at rhythm games, but she enjoyed them once in a while and they were a good way to relax. And as it currently was, Eidel was beginning to think both her and the other girl needed to relax, the other seemed still quite shaken by Eidel coming to talk to her and Eidel was feeling seriously bad about startling her. She was definitely feeling embarrassed as the adrenaline of winning earlier died down and now she was left quite nervous.

"Uhhh, why don't we play a rhythm game? I'm not... too good, but I like playing them? I-it'll be free!" She flashed a nervous smile and slotted two quarters into the machine and after taking much too long a swig from her sticky can of orange soda for it to appear normal, she picked up the plastic guitar and picked a rather slow song to ease them in. Realizing she forgot to introduce herself, she spurted out a quick introduction, like the liquid that fired out of her soda can onto the floor when she opened it a few moments earlier. "Oh, oh, I'm Eidel, Eidel Shain! Sorry if I scared you earlier... I'm a bit new here. Hope we enjoy this." Giving her a concerned (or was it a concerning?) smile, she fired up a song and hit play.
sounds great, maybe you could give me a rough draft of your character here? I was simaltanelously writing up this manipulative brit and I want to see if they can slot together in any way.

Sure thing! I'll write up a rough version of the character using the old sheet after I finish a post in Shine City so I don't keep people waiting too much.
Even better, I think there will be a manipulative supporting character (i'm thinking of a sociopathic rapier weilding british young gentleman) who tells Hilda of this treasure and convinces her to focus her efforts by building a squad. @Section me and you could actually all be the pivitol characters in this RP. As we GM it if you are interested.

Well there we go! Thanks @Skepic for the brilliant idea, I'm totally on board for it and I'm honored with the offer, Dynamo. So long as I can still run my own character as well (who I think could end up being fairly important, as a potential spy within the Baroness' team), I'm cool with it!
So, I spent a lot of time last night reading through the IC, I finished it and I quite enjoyed it! Lots of action and you had an absolutely wonderful crowd of characters, I actually laughed quite hard a few times. I also got a fairly good hold on the recent history, at least when it came to North America (lots of war), Europe (the west is united under the authoritarian Western European Coalition and the east and central Europe is quite divided, as detailed in @Skepic's CS) and a bit of Asia (Japan is back to the Sengoku Jidai and China shoots anyone who comes into their airspace). So, now, I think we need to figure out, @Dynamo Frokane how the Red Baroness comes into all of this, why and how.

Plus, if she's going to be the leader of the squadron, she needs to have quite the history, because she'll be quite young and that'll definitely be held against her. Perhaps she sent a call out to any mercenaries who'd join her? That's a bit like Albion's Avengers, so we might think of something else.
Is this correct? It says it's like 83 square miles, which is a lot of ground...it'd probably help if everyone picked a neighborhood in a district, I think. If I said Amie was in Greater Duwamish Apartments, and her home was in Central District 3, would that make sense? How is it worded?

OK, really sorry for the slow reply, the question caught me at a bad time, right before I started settling down for the night, but the way I see it, the districts are each about the size of a small city. You have Bellevue on one of those maps and you can see that it's about the size of one of the districts, and Bellevue is fairly large. However, each district is fairly similar along its area, so I'd say it's a good idea to have the area open for more movement, rather than sticking to one. As for the RP, it's better to stick to the sector map (the first one, with Greater Duwamish), as the districts aren't very well denoted and even most Seattleites don't know them, they're mostly for census.

However, your idea, @MatthiasAngel to use both the sectors and the council districts to allow better detail in knowing where someone is, it's pretty good! Just keep in mind that unless someone worked on the city council or had a job which would require knowing council districts and census numbers, they probably wouldn't know the council districts exactly.

Anyway, hope that made sense, I got up less than an hour ago and I'm very tired. I'll try to get a presentable CS for Grisha up soon.
Just thought I'd point out that's a MiG not a Yak. Yak cockpits are more towards the front and always have a nose cone mounted cannon.
I can give you the exact MiG model. MiG-3-15

Ouch, I was really unsure, but now that I look at it, that nose definitely shows it's a MiG. Thanks!
Ah, no worries! I understood that about the Texans so far and I actually haven't started reading the IC yet. I'm quite looking forward to it, though I believe we should start talking story for this spin-off. If you have any ideas, hit me up with a PM! @Dynamo Frokane
I'll be productive once I've finished my homework and stopped distracting myself with RPG!

...oh.
