Mainly because both sides have the one thing she dislikes. Mages. She wondered why the Church would be working with some "professional" magi to get rid of other, allegedly rogue magi. She would see it as heresy for the most part... but since she's so obedient and a little bit of a suck-up. She would keep her mouth shut.

Of course, she won't promise whatever happens to them. They'd only be working temporarily after all and why care about someone who's going to die in this war right?

Esmeralda keeps to herself in this situation and only talks when it's necessary to talk.

Of course. She shares conversations with her Servant, with stories regarding Ireland's progression over the large gap between their years. She enjoys Lancer's company but has to keep him in line not to grope her every so often.

Biography: Esmeralda is an orphan taken in by a sizeable chapel in Dublin, Ireland. With no last name, the priest in charge decided to give her one under his: Reo Fola.

The young girl was fascinated by the Faith that the Church in this country followed and wished to learn more of it since she wasn't exactly friendly with the other children running about with deadbeats.

The priest warned her about such learning and thirteen year old Esmeralda responded with an enthusiastic smile. The old follower of th Faith saw a genuine willingness in her that he decided to teach her all he knows... and his involvement with the Holy Church.

She trained under the Faction of the Executors and was made a specific Mage Hunter by the age of twenty three.

When the Church showed its support to the Mages' Association by 2015. They sent one of their own to help out, and maybe more if the situation calls for it. Esmeralda never liked mages due to their lack of faith and their greed for knowledge but she had to endure it to stop a completely unstable magus faction.

Once Gáe Bolg's name has been called, the cursed spear reverses the nature of causality, the meaning of "cause and effect" in the order of things, to make it so the cause of the "lance being thrust" comes from the effect of the "opponent's heart being pierced" by it. Lancer prepares to use this ability by backing one hundred meters away from his opponent, taking a crouching position on all fours, and accelerating through an approach run by dashing fifty meters before taking to the skies. He arches his back as if drawing a bow and hurls it towards the ground with all his might. It distorts space to create a "tapestry of action" that splits into numerous spearheads that pours down over the enemy. It is said that it split into thirty in his legend, but it seems that the number has increased after Cú Chulainn became a Heroic Spirit.

@Seirei No HaiLancer Artoria is a Arthur from a non-existent singularity in this universe. More over her statistics line is rather ridiculous. If you want Cu you may have him. However Gae Bolg is nerfed to non-instant kill status.
