Tohsaka Manor - (Before Flattening)

Olivier had been performing her rounds around the manor both inside and out. A one-woman patrol before she took in the full view of the fires ahead. Just as the Paladin was about to report to her Master, Tohsaka seemed to know ahead of time and called for her instead. “Saber. It's time.” The words echo around the manor as she entered through the backdoor. His booming voice audible from within. The Saber Servant rushed to his side in full plated armor.

"I arrive, Master. What needs to be done?" Blue eyes firm and at the ready, she assisted her Master in packing up any last minutes, nearly tipping over some valuable heirlooms and porcelain souvenirs.

Bursting out of the door in a flash as Master Tohsaka announced to the Matou familiars what was currently happening. He turned to her and offered the task of safeguarding the two houses with the Matou Master's Servant. With a simple nod, she followed those orders and left in spirit form.

So what did happen when she materialized in her physical form?

The fire grew and from the sky, she observed something that was out of this world, green light and green mist all colliding together to form- "A single world and it's falling right above my he- Nope." Tasked in guarding the house had never been sweeter, at least she was barely there in the edge of such a Noble Phantasm. What kind of madman would think of decimating a third of this district? It had to be a Berserker she thought, a powerful one at that with a powerful Master that could withstand the amount of prana being drawn out of them.

She sprinted as far as her legs could carry occasionally using the spear form of Hauteclere to boost her skips into the forest just mere seconds before impact.

In a flash, the manor was gone.

Present hour...

Route to Einzbern Castle - Einzbern Forest

Sliding in the dirt of the forest was Olivier. Heel trenched deep into the earth to stop her inhuman speed. The lass-Paladin removed her helmet to bow before him in shame. "Master... I failed in protecting the manors... I do not know about whether or not the Matous have survived but someone unleashed a Noble Phantasm just to stop the fire."

To make things more worrying...

"Olivier... I need your wisdom now, more than I ever have before." Hearing the voice of her Paladin compatriot was an armless Roland putting down his Master to request her aid. She was overcome with anger and sorrow, taking the severed limb and gripping it tight. "What happened. Who did this?"

Night 2

Cars and "borrowed" carriages parked up against the open space that was the olden Academy grounds. Enzo and his entourage stepped out of the car, laughing and having a good time with them before praising Caster on the immediate control of the unaware minds of Fuyuki's future. As Piper pulled his little concert to give the men some music to enjoy, the mafioso heir had decided to unload and unpack everything in key locations around the school.

You thought that this school fortress was bad with the debuffs? With the resources the Levito magus brought with him, he had an army of men armed with firearms. The prototype gatling guns (machine guns) fixed and placed in every nook and cranny of the school grounds as well as snipers positioned on the roof of the school.

"Alright you lugs, time to get serious. We're taking over this town by force!" Earning the cheers right after Piper's little performance got his men motivated for tonight and the days that come forward.

"Master Enzo, it seems we have tenants in our former base, refugees from the sea i believe, one appears to be a mage and the other seems to be a navy girl of some sorts Piper said, handing him the grotesque-looking detonator. The ginger American just gave him a weird look before wearing a glove over his other glove to accept the... "detonator".

"Maybe next time you use something that isn't rat guts?" He sighed but it was useful nonetheless, with Piper's surveillance over the harbor maybe he could get whoever attacked them last night. That Lancer kid and a loli Oni bonus if they have their Masters with them. "Really? Hmm." Looking at the detonator and the need for potential allies, it's impossible for him to call his father to commandeer a ship in the American navy to come to Japan. That would bring a lot of attention...

...however- "Let's see... why don't we send an envoy to them? Ask if they would like to meet in the morning."

The green shimmering "star" (Achilles) appeared in the corner of his eye as it landed on the blaze destroying the Foreigner's District (Basin) with a loud bang, not unlike a gunshot. "Hm. Looks like someone dealt with it."

"I'm sure it's burnt to a crisp, it won't come back anytime soon." Ceres waves her hand dismissively and looked to the destruction that Delphox temporarily caused, much to the pair's dismay, it wasn't enough to burn down the whole forest. With a sigh she turned to Quilo and raised a brow.

What did he mean "restraint"?

"Now why would I do that? If my Pokemon want to go all out if I command them to then they go all out. The forest didn't burn down." Her Delphox seemed to agree, glaring at the gym leader with a growl.

Although the part where he owns the gym of Viridian city gave her a surprised look. "You own the gym? Did you clear out some old Team Rocket stuff while you took it or something?"

She looked out into the pathway of the city and smiled. "Alright, fine. The forest was getting boring anyway."

Description
Gris is an honest young Oni who earned his way to the Nobility by finding artifacts and metia to be sold to the Capital's government for very hefty prices. Gris is a nice person, coming with it, naivety and can be taken advantage of so long as you don't let any secrets slip out of your mouth that threaten the very existence of his noble status in the Kingdom of Lugnica. Should you decide to go against him, well... your head will be missing your body.

Personality

Gris isn't anything like his strict village elders before his exile. He's a hearty, welcoming Oni that's very open-minded about things and will give anyone helpless a good home with good food as long as they fulfill their part of the bargain and have a role assigned to them that they're good at. The Oni is an open ear and should any problem arise to someone he considers a friend (especially if they are more than friends), he will do everything his resources can spare to help them which brings us to his naivety.

Gris believed that the world has some good in them despite their evil exterior and wishes to bring them out through empathy and understanding of the situation, it was because of this that he constantly gets kidnapped or ambushed by rival noble factions or greedy bandits who don't learn. It doesn't really bother him since he knows how to deal with them the bloody way and often uses his contracted spirit to deal with the mess.

One does not simply corrupt Gris to the darkness, he will always counter it with his "righteous morality" which he stubbornly believes in. Though if someone were to freeload on his noble status and waste away his resources willingly... they become missing like the mess he makes. He's no Roswaal, that's for sure.

Class
Gris fights like a spellblade, always switching from melee to magic whenever the situation calls for it.

Bio

Childhood

Gris was born in the Oni village where Ram and Rem have yet to come into the world. Needless to say he's not one for tradition and thinks its ways to perform it for who-knows-how-many years came off as boring to him so he became the occasional troublemaker and constantly sneaks out of the village to explore the wilderness. He had been doing this since he could think for himself and had been a disappointment to his parents that they birthed such a disrespectful child. Not like he minds, he believed the spirits that hang around the nearby forest are his friends.

Every night he goes out to play and talk with them as if he were talking to himself and every time the sun would rise over the horizon he would sneak back to his hut and sleep, believing that his fellow villagers were none the wiser.

Exile

As he grew, Gris found it harder and harder to sneak out at night given his adult body and sneaking in back to the hut would mean to make up excuses to where he's been. He wasn't a good liar and his parents caught him eventually.

The next morning, the entire village banished him to the wilderness as per his "wish" and while he was begging and apologizing, no one would give him the time of day and continue working as they did with their lives. With a sad sigh and a heavy heart, he was off on his own, in the dense forests alone... or so he thought.

The spirits he hung out with day after day remembered him and offered guidance for his journey to wander the continent. By forging a contract with the little spirits, his journey had become slightly easier from here on out which mostly meant evading from the larger monsters.

Kararagi Shogunate

Weeks of camping and Gris finally settled in a peasant shack in Arlam Village and taking up the job as a watchman to the boundaries of the wild forest. During his patrol he met up with a travelling party from Kararagi affiliated with the Kararagi Shogunate, these men were wearing armor that more or less looked like the Oni in their most primed state, fascinated, the exiled Oni inquired about their journey. At first, the Shogunate wouldn't allow mere watchmen to join their ranks until he revealed to them his horns and noted the spirits he made a contract with, after a small discussion, he became an initiate in their guild.

Through the training he received, he had reached a higher form of enlightenment and was able to learn much more quickly than any normal person who took the test. Veterans of the party just put his horns as a responsibility when that wasn't entirely true. His horns increase combat capabilities, not the skill.

With a few extra lessons and a sword of his own, Gris became the latest member of the Guild in less than two months. It was quite the achievement that was shared among the party and was spread out across Lugnica and in their home province of Kararagi. New opportunities arose in Gris's head and he began to take up quests and bodyguard requests.

Treasure Hunting

Of course Gris thought he hadn't been earning enough to keep his rent in the Capital City, killing monsters can only bring you so much and a horde of Witchfiends even more so. He decided that it was time he went in the unknown dungeons, as risky as they may be, and start finding treasure instead of collecting the ears or heads of monsters.

Joining up with an adventurer party from the Hero's District in Priestella, Gris suggested he take point and map the paths for them. Encounters and treasure were all they met and most times it was a near death experience for him, that didn't stop him from looking for treasure.

Entering the last area of the supposed "dungeon", he and his party were forced to fight a colossal beast. While they did eventually kill it, it cost the lives of most of his party members, he and another were the only ones left and hauled it off to Priestella for selling. One would think they'd have split the spoils by now, right?

Wrong.

Apparently it was his partymate's plan to get rid of them while he hid in the corner. Seeing Gris so weak, he decided to try and kill him without the realization that his spirits had protected him from the death that was supposed to come. Gris didn't know what to think when he decided to take all the money himself but since he was the only one, he decided to pawn it all off for himself.

Nobility

Purchasing an estate in the Noble's District in Priestella he had lived a quiet, happy life. During his outings he would encounter Demi-Humans that are helpless or being bullied by the humans around him. His new duty in mind was to give these poor people a home in exchange for reasonable working duties.

The Forye Household was inevitably recognized as a Noble faction with a very bad reputation among other Noble factions for housing and caring for Demi-humans. Not that he would mind, he had the means to get rid of problems after all. He wasn't going to let them live alone and get abused.

Although there was one time a Demi-Human tried to lure Gris into a trap into the alleyways at night after a noble falsely promised that this Demi-Human would receive noble status. Gris killed him, his attackers and the noble as well, pinning the blame on bandits and thieves in the city.

Yet despite this, he still wasn't bearing any trust issues.

Unknown of the fate of the Carnivine, Delphox was very satisfied with her self, giggling at the fires she caused before it became a beastly laughter in a haughty manner. She couldn't quite hear the barking of Quilo's Sandslash in the distance as everything around the fox-like Pokemon burned around her.

Instead, it walked back to its silhouette of a trainer deep in the woods. Quilo would have had a much clearer view of Delphox and the faint view of Ceres just walking in their general direction. "Oh? A trainer?" She eyed Quilo, a frown on her face. Delphox wasn't thrilled about the Frosslass that accompanied him.

Though this didn't bother her and just encouraged her to give him that shit-eating grin. "Awww, I'm sorry. Did I ruin your catch?"

With Quilo running through the forests just a little way behind his own Pokemon. He'd see a glimpse of orange and red as well as a flame that followed through it. It would seem that someone else was pursuing the Carnivine...

"...phox ...lame... thrower..." A whisper came from deeper within the Viridian forest with the Pokemon giving themselves a slightly sadistic grin, it had its sights on the Carnivine and without knowledge, the Frosslass and the Sandslash that pursued it.

Standing still, the gym leader could take a nice long look at it. It was a Delphox and it didn't look like it cared whether or not her cactus-sentient target was being chased... it was looking to kill.

With its hand raised and its blazing flame burning bright, she blew into it sending a raging burst of fire ahead of the Carnivine's escape path, aiming to catch it in its searing attack. Bonus if there are others caught into it.

Ceres can be quite strict to young people who misbehave around her which gives her an air of a motherly figure that only knows what's best for their child. Sounds like someone to look up to in the future right?

While she does not actively believe in truly getting rid of something by taking a life despite being in said shady organization, she actually wants those she screws over to give in and join their growing numbers. Although sometimes she wishes she could do this with men her age who could finally have a date with her using her actual personality.

Although that's nigh impossible to find, almost as rare as finding a "Shiny" Pokemon.

"I was a former Pokemon League Champion in all the six regions with the Gym Badge Curriculum... but that was when the ban on ten year old trainers wasn't implemented. You're several years too inexperienced to go toe-to-toe with me!"

Haughty and proud of her training, she would often berate trainers during their battle just to throw them off their tune and win the victory under her name. While this was a dirty way to win by a lot of people who fight fair and square this did not bother her one bit.

So what's she doing hanging around a shady organization in Kanto? Simple. Because she lost her status as a Pokemon League Champion by other trainers who are likely the same age as her or a few years younger, she yearns to crush the will of other Trainers before they could step up. Why do this? It's boring once you're champion, it'll only be so many battles before you're dethroned and off the seat. She believed it'll be a little fun to work with bad people for a little bit.

No wonder she couldn't get a boyfriend. She's a complete psycho.

Before the ban of ten year old trainers, Celestia Paragon was one of those ten year olds who went out to fend for themselves using Pokemon from their local Research Laboratories and picking out a starter Pokemon to start their journey. This was her wish when she was still living in Snowbelle City with a rich upbringing causing her to gain a spoiled attitude which allowed her to have several high-quality Pokeballs and Potions to use on her journey.

It was later found out that during her journey to become a Pokemon Champion in the Kalos Region. She kept losing because she didn't know that one had to command their Pokemon to dodge an attack that was coming their way. It kinda serves her right to think she can take on the world with a delinquent Fennekin. Annoyed and frustrated, she gave her Pokemon a harsh pep talk and began training by using other kids and other trainers as a vent for the temper loss even going as far as distracting her opponent's Pokemon to gain the upper hand. Eventually as the days go by, she had trained all her caught Pokemon how to dodge and block attacks without her command and this continued as she won gym badges... with the gym leaders bearing a grudge to her and her tactics.

Putting up a fake mask wasn't easy and she believed that putting on a "respected" persona was a good way for people not to brand her as a brat who wins by getting her way. Of course she did let her real face slip out a little bit during her acting, most people believe she's just a strict, condescending person.

She won various Pokemon Leagues across each Region, wins and losses here and there in the aftermath before she got bored of the title in Kanto and lost against a certain Pokemon master with a Pikachu. To quell this boring peaceful mind and without knowing better, she met up with shady individuals and joined their organization without knowing what they really are.

Not like she cares so long as she has fun, right?

Male
Luxray keeps to himself and does not interact with the other Pokemon caught by Ceres. Should the need for a Team Battle arise he does try his best to interact although this ends with him getting frustrated at trying to create a better bond with the others.

Togekiss
Female
Togekiss is the creepy one. She is quite possessive of her Trainer and should any physical harm come to her, she pops out of her Pokeball and gives the attacker a piece of her mind, which usually ends in bloody results.

Lucario
Male
Ceres's Lucario is the calmest one, a temperamental type and is often hard to coordinate with given her selfish issues. It is because of this that Ceres lets Lucario fight as he wishes so long as he wins.

Relevant question: It's been forty years, is Team Rocket still functioning? The organization and not the quartet who still wants the Pikachu.

Because I was planning on running an organization of my own with this.
