Personality: Aleksander is a devout soldier with a strong passion in saving others, but still within the bounds of reason. While a devout Muslim, he is very tolerant with religion, marrying his Croat childhood sweetheart, and enrolling his daughter in a Catholic school.
Skills: He is an excellent pilot on paper, a rational officer in practice, and a decent mechanic.
Weakness: His blunt attitude, cold logic, and rationale gets him in conflict with the more impulsive pilots, who sees him as either heartless or coward, this is despite the fact that he is willing to risk his own life for his comrades' safety.
History: Born and bred in Sarajevo, Aleksander barely enjoyed his childhood, you need to grow up quickly in the DMZ. His early adulhood didn't stop when he became an exchange student in the more prosperous Split, Croatia. Rather, it is further accelerated when he had fathered his then girlfriend (and now wife) Lucija, local of Split, and Aleksander's classmate. Shoved with the responsibility of being a parent at a young age made Aleksander more rational and mature than his age. He joined the Federation's Military Academy via scholarship, where he performed admirably and graduated with flying colors. He had been a sent to different hotspots before. He is currently being re-assigned to Panama where he is set to report to Capt. Hassan Bin Ahmad.
Appearance: The Oštrokondža sports an Early-type FAW-14 head, which is basically an FAW-007 head with more sensors. But the more noticeable difference are the Kadaska thrusters on the legs. The Kadaska thrusters, invented by Anja Kadaska, a Polish engineer working for the Arc Union-based Zastavic Corporation. The Kadaska thrusters ultimately lost to the Klimov wing thrusters (as seen on the Jinn) due to the former's complexity and the fact that it is an enemy design (although it is also used in Mia's Einherjar).
Armaments:
Fabrique Nationale Herstal AC100 60mm Carbine - Basically a scaled-up SCAR Mk.16 carbine, it is the primary firearm of the Oštrokondža.
Federal Dynamics "Kaplan" 40mm CIWS - A versatile CIWS using a 40mm multi-purpose round.
2x Federation Ballistics K8 Vibroblade Seaxe - Seaxe-style vibroblades serves as backup weapon when all else fails.
Federal Arsenal Scout Shield - Part of the FAW-014's standard equipment, the shield adds protection to the mech's thin armor.
Weakness: As a scout, it has a weak armor. The thrusters are very complex, and spare parts are lacking.
Mia observed the group, she sees her colleague Beryl in the group, the rest appears to be newcomers to Horizon, she approached and barged in upon Beryl's welcoming.
"Beryl, they are pilots as well, yes?", Mia interrupted Beryl rather rudely.
Despite her delinquent attitude and "artful" tattoos on her right shoulder and navel, Mia's pilot pants and tank top indicates that she is a walker pilot. @Norik@Krayzikk@Caasicam@Silvan Haven
"It is a pleasure to meet you, Benjamin.", Eun Mi replied in English, returning to her usual British accent.
"I have to admit, this is a very well-made walker, especially for a Chinese one. She may well be piloted by an elite. It appears this is a melee specialist, as I see no ranged weaponry.", She commented. @Norik@Krayzikk@Crimmy
Mia is sitting lazily near the balcony where other pilots are, smoking her cigarette as she watches the parade ongoing. Mia doesn't want to socialize with people, it's just not her style.
She is honestly annoyed with the parade to be honest, but then again, she has nothing to do. She watched the pilot (Nova) climbing down the balcony, which she finds funny. She watched the pilots from her vantage point. @Norik@Krayzikk@Caasicam@Silvan Haven
Appearance: Fairly Caucasian despite being technically Indonesian, especially with her blonde hair and green eyes.
Personality: Mia is someone who thinks differently from others, and prefers to think outside of the box. An eccentric loner, Mia prefers being alone rather than socialize, seeing the latter as unproductive. In combat, she can be a bit too brash and brave, taking calculated risks. A chainsmoker.
Skills: She is a very good pilot, a good marksman, a decent brawler, and a bookworm with high grades.
Weakness: She is an anti-social, preferring to be alone than to be wwith people. She also has an eccentric way of thinking, making her a delinquent. Has a questionable psychological background with a "Battle Royale mentality", and tendency to go berserk should push comes to shove.
History: Born from a Polish mother and a Belgian father in Indonesia, Mia grew up being seen as an outsider by the natives of the country she calls home, being a subject of bullying. Unfortunately, this is common story with post-war European immigrants and their descendants in Indonesia, despite the local government's welcoming attitude. Like many youths of European-descent, Mia joined a gang, engaging in retaliatory attacks in the "race war". As racial tensions escalate, the Indonesian government finally intervened in ending the race wars, cracking down on both nativist and immigrant gangs. In order to escape conviction, Mia joins the Federation military, where due to her questionable psychological profile, she was assigned as a test pilot, where her intelligence and eccentricity shine through.
Equipment: Uniform, 9mm pistol, knife, Lee-Enfield No.4 rifle back in her gang days, Rosary necklace as her family memento.
Base Model*: FAW-016
Designation: Einherjar
Appearance: The Einherjar is a radical modification of the gunner, abandoning firepower for mobility. Using the Gunner's very large reactor as powerplant for powerful thrusters and more energy-demanding, but more agile, servomotors, making it surpringly fast and agile without sacrifing heavy armor.
Armaments:
Fabrique Nationale Herstal AC90 57mm PDW - Basically a scaled-up P90 PDW, the Einherjar ditches the Gunners' twin railguns for mobility, thus making this gun its primary firearm.
Federal Dynamics "Kaplan" 40mm CIWS - A versatile CIWS using a 40mm multi-purpose round.
Federation Ballistics V9DK "Berserker" Vibro-Thermal Dane Axe - Primary melee weapon of the Einherjar. Based from the legendary dane axes of the Viking era, the Berserker axe has a heated axe head and a vibro-hammer. While heavy, it makes it up in blunt force and inertia, making it a perfect combination with the mech.
2x Federation Ballistics K8 Vibroblade Seaxe - Seaxe-style vibroblades serves as backup weapon when all else fails.
Federal Arsenal Standard Shield - Part of the FAW-016's standard equipment, the shield further adds protection alongside the mech's already thick armor.
Weakness: It is a gunner without railguns, or the provision to fit them (the latter is to save weight), defeating the entire purpose of a Gunner chassis in the first place. It is based from an unproven concept, you must be crazy to pilot this in combat.

"Auf keinen Fall! Du bist auch Deutscher? Wunderbar! (No way! You're German as well? Wonderful!)", Eun Mi replied with surprise, dropping her British accent with her natural Bavarian accent. German had always been her first language, this is the language of her childhood and her trade, both the old and the new.
"Übrigens, ich bin Kapitän Eun Mi Steinbach, es ist mir eine Freude, Sie kennenzulernen. (By the way, I'm Captain Eun Mi Steinbach, it is a pleasure meeting you.)", Eun Mi introduced herself.
She then looks at the Chinese mech, judging by its design, it appears that its pilot is an elite, or at least someone from the Communist Party, it is way different from the usual Chinese monoeye variant, their difference in quality is night and day. It is no wonder she is very curious in meeting its pilot. @Norik@Krayzikk@Crimmy
"Based from Federal intelligence, the Chinese divers looks very rounded, while the Philippine swimmers were based from the Japanese variant of the Warrior. What is certain is that both are armed with torpedoes and sharp claws.", Eun Mi replied.
Her use of 'divers' and 'swimmers' pertains with the marine doctrine of the walkers. Chinese designs prefer the Gunner chassis for its ability to withstand higher pressures, while Filipino designs prefer the Warrior ans Scout chassis for their high speed and better maneuverability.
It didn't took them long before before Benjamin enters the conversation. She is impressed by his rather neutral accent, in contrast with the British accent she had picked up in the company. She had assumed the man to be American, as his uniform has no bearing of his parent unit or nationality, in contrast to her uniform that blatantly shows 'HMS Winston Churchill' in a German-style cuffband.
"Good day there, Yankee.", Eun Mi greeted Benjamin. @Norik@Krayzikk
"That's quite a respectable record you have there. Since you have mentioned your service in South China Sea, were you there when the Spratly Crisis occurred?", Eun Mi asked.
The Spratly Crisis was a major border incident in the South China Sea involving the People's Republic of China People's Liberation Army Navy and Philippine Defense Force. Funny how the crisis started out of a drunken brawl between the two forces' marine elements in Admiral Lingyin Joint Naval Base, the brawl went out of hand, which eventually got politicized by their respective motherlands. Both sides deployed their marine-based walkers, ready to shed the first-blood.
It would have been the first walker to walker war had the Earth Federation not intervened. Not wanting to see a civil war in their hands, the Federation sent peacekeepers to calm down the two member-states. Fortunately, both sides backed down, and peace was secured once again. The crisis became a wake-up call on how fragile the Federation is, and reforms were made to avoid such incidents from happening again. @Norik
