Name: Jashin Kamizawa
Alias: Lord Jashin to a select few, Shinigami
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Rank: Genin
Personality: Jashin is somewhat bipolar in the regard that his emotions may appear null due to his lack of facial expression or movement yet in only a few short seconds he may burst out in laughter, rage, depression or any emotion really, sometimes going through multiple emotions in succession before returning to a passive state. In this regard he is very introverted, and while it may seem irrational to exhibit his emotions in such a way, he often does this as a facade to those around him.
He is chaotic, erratic and spontaneous. Order, structure, and authority are nothing more than an inconvenience to his existence. He lives for himself, and only for himself. His presence is destruction and disorder. Despite his energetic behavior his mind is naturally in a calm state, clearly deciphering the intentions of his opponents and sorting through his thoughts.
Jashin is fiercly judgemental toward everyone he comes into contact with; he does not hesitate to be blunt with people, and the line between ally and foe is blurred at best. His intense bloodlust drives him to push past all limitations, physical or emotional. Being immortal, he doesn't think much of his physical state. In the same manner, immortality means life will pass by and he will forever grow old. In this regard Jashin has decided to cast away all emotional bonds that could ever form between other creatures as when they die and he lives on, it would only bring him suffering, which he chooses to avoid.
Because of this fact it is Jashin's philosophy that everyone should live as if they were immortal, for their lives were bound to inevitably end, yet he was cursed as the supposed incarnation of God, created by the hatred toward the Sage of Six Paths' way of life and the idolatry of immortality. And so Jashin lives only to please himself, casting aside emotions and scorning anyone who believes differently. He judges most humans to be weak and acts condescendingly toward them, but his attitude will quickly shift when he recognizes a formidable opponent. He will calmly greet powerful enemies with respect as it is not every day of his never-ending life that he is able to enjoy a fight to the death and truly feel alive.
Village: Iwagakure
Jashin was born into a cult who opposed everything the Sage of Six Paths lived for. The peace and prosperity that he brought to the world was spat on by these people. They only believed that true ecstacy could only be reached by embracing the desires of the heart, whatever those may be, regardless of what anyone else wills.
His mother, as Jashin was being born, lie on the floor at the center of a humungous blood seal spanning one hundred feet in diameter. The seal contained many intertwining seals within one another with several dozen specific points where cult members stood to channel their very essence into the seal. The leader of the cult helped birth the child himself while invoking the energies of the seal. When Jashin was born all who stood within the seal began bleeding from their orafaces and suffocating.
Jashin cried for six minutes after his birth before recoiling into sleep. The bleeding and suffocation did not end until the child's cries ceased. In the end, the child slept in a pool of blood until the cult leader awoke from his unconscious slumber, clinging to but a thread of life as he had lost three quarters of his blood. Miraculously he survived and would give the child the name Lord Jashin Kamizawa, treating the child like a God and worshiping his existence. He brought Jashin everything he asked for.
Jashin was a bright child, and though he appeared brainwashed for the beginning of his life due to the fact that all he knew came from a crazy cult leader, he began to catch on to the man's intentions. He was obviously using Jashin for something. Eventually Jashin grew exasperated with everything being handed to him and being coddled all the time. After thinking of this lifestyle for some time, an immense rage overtook his being.
In the middle of the night the cult leader awoke screaming, Jashin having plunged a knife through his left hand and into the bed. He pulled the knife out and yelped in pain again, whipping around to stare at Jashin with hatred. However the boy stood in the corner of the room with no emotion present, simply studied the reaction of his caretaker. The cult leader simply began laughing and told Jashin to go back to bed.
This infuriated Jashin, as he had no idea why his actions invoked LAUGHTER of all things. So he plotted his next move, and waited several months... and on the chosen day Jashin awoke and demanded a very exotic type of fish to consume. The leader of the cult abided and went to fetch him his luxurious breakfast. When he returned, he began cutting and preparing the fish with a notably sharp butcher knife. And in doing so a sharpened spoon was jabbed into his kidney from behind.
Falling to the floor, Jashin glared down at the pathetic man who he could now see, at age 15, was only filling his head with lies to control him for some reason, but what reason? His expression was cold and heartless, watching the man clutch his bleeding side and cringe in pain. He was still clutching the butcher knife, which Jashin expected him to lash out and attack him this time. When the cult leader began smiling again and his pain turned into laughter, Jashin grabbed him by the colalr of his shirt and placed the knife up to his neck, screaming "WHY?! Why won't you hurt me?! Why don't you defend yourself you pathetic piece of trash?!" His eyes captured a hatred that cut deep into his very soul.
The cult leader exhaled a deep breathe, continuing to smile. He looked Jashin deep in the eyes, and chuckled before giving the boy his long awaited answer. "Because, Lord Jashin, you are immortal." Jashin's mouth fell agape as he gasped, his hands shaking and eyes wide with shock and disbelief. "That's right, your mother died giving birth to you, and the members of this private society all gave their lives to create the seal on your back. You are the incarnation of God, you are here to punish the sinners! You are the Angel of Death." He took a half-step backward, looking down at the cult leader who was leaking blood from his side. He couldn't accept this, it had to be another lie to control him. He couldn't be.. immortal.. it wasn't humanly possible. "YOU'RE LYING!!" The defiant child roared, thrusting the sharpened spoon into the man's wrist, causing him to release his grip on the butcher knife. Jashin immediately grabbed it, and as the cult leader removed the spoon and rolled over to face Jashin, his cheek was sliced open at an upward angel from the edge of his mouth by the butcher knife.
"STILL SMILING?!" Jashin growled as he whipped the knife back the opposite way, slicing the other side of the man's mouth. As he coughed up blood, Jashin flung the knife toward the cult leader in a spinning motion, the edge of the blade landing dead center through his skull, ending his life. "If I truly am the incarnation of God, I have no more use for you, trash." Jashin uttered coldly, walking out of the place he had called home for so long.
With him he brought only a knife... He slept in the forest for days, eating and drinking only as much as he fellt necessary. Eventually it came down to himself alone with a single thought, and the fear of the consequences if that thought were untrue. He brought this thought to reality by thrusting the knife into his chest in a leap of faith, where his heart is located. Pain rushed through his body, bringing him to his knees. For a while he stared at the wound as it bled, wondering if he would die when he removed it. After a good minute he slowly slid the blade out of his chest, savoring the pain it brought him, the pain that let him know he was alive. Over time the bleeding stopped and still Jashin lived. It was true, he was immortal. The crazy cult leader wasn't lying.
He returned to the scene of the murder and searched through the house, finding an underground passageway in the basement of the house. After boldly venturing as deep as he could through the tunnel, eventually he came to a large room, much larger than the area of his own home, with walls and floors of stone and carvings all along the walls that formed interlocking fuuinjutsu.
Jashin fell to the floor gripping his skull, keeling over into the fetal position. His veins bulged, his eyes gone completely white, fingers grabbing hair tugging at his scalp, all the while screaming in intense agony. Memories of his mother being prepared to give birth to him, the images of the seal centered around her stomach, and the man who raised him sitting with his mother performing a technique involving a seal on her stomach that seemed to pair with the one on the ground.
The moment he was born he screamed, the memory of his piercing screech instilling an unimaginable terror and agonizing pain throughout his entire being. His cries echoed back and forth off the walls of his soul, causing him to claw at his own skin and tear it off, tearing at his own flesh to free him from the pain. With the sound of his cries only growing worse, images of those within the seal bleeding from their eyes, noses, mouths, ears and eventually their pores flooded his existence. He was ripping through his flesh straight to the bone, the image of the sacrifices falling to the ground, he felt the energy of the tortured souls form the structure of the seals on his body. At the center of these seals on his back, a large circle with a triangle inside, each point of the triangle touching the circle.
For six minutes Jashin bled and screamed inhuman sounds all the while tearing through his body, feeling all of the souls sacrificed to bring him immortality and their combined suffering all conjoin together into the seal on his back. The images swirled into his mind, fading from his vision as he was left shaking and bleeding on the floor for hours until he lost consciousness, awaking later to a fully healed body. He burned the house down and all its contents with himself inside, allowing the fire to consume his being. He stood among the flames a monument of hatred, destroying all that was built for him.
With nowhere to go, at fifteen he joined the Shinobi Academy and became a ninja. He was eager and willing to do battle with other shinobi, something he did not have when he lived in the cult. He was stealthy, yet brutal, performing both covert assassinations and making bloody messes of other opponents. It took him less than a year to adjust to the shinobi lifestyle. He had to keep his immortality hidden, so he held back his emotions and urge to kill when he went on missions. However, the first situation in which it would have meant life-or-death for a normal shinobi, Jashin seized the moment and cut down his enemy with a startling lack of remorse to all those who witnessed. Since the first kill and the praise he received for it, a killing machine was born.
The higher ups of Iwagakure could not wait for the Chuunin exams. Though none knew of his immortality, his innate talent as a shinobi and murderous instinct proved to be enough to wow even higher ranking Shinobi.

Effect: This is a set of seals intertwined across Jashin's body formed of the tortured souls sacrificed during his birth which gives him the title of Shinigami. The main seal starts with an equilateral circumscribed triangle on his upper back, with multiple lines and shapes surrounding it. This main seal is his connection with God and the result of the cult's sacrificial seal. The seals wrap around his body and are littered across his torso as well. There are three supporting seals connected to the main seal. These seals, when deciphered, can unlock hidden abilities of the role of the Shinigami.
First seal - Releases a surge of physical energy and chakra stored in the seal, empowering Jashin's body with physical strength and speed, allowing him to move much more rapidly and strike faster and harder. As he is still a Genin, his control over even the first release is nothing to be astounded at, so much that he cannot even fully release the first seal, and thus the physical boost he receives from partially undoing it only gives him a portion of the first seal's full potential.
Second Seal - Inactive
Third Seal - Inactive
Weakness: Jashin has a very poor knowledge of this powerful seal of immortality, and although it makes him immortal he can still be immobilized by various other means since killing someone is not the only way one can be defeated.
