I was so blown away by the eclipse. I even got to pretend it was entirely hidden here in Michigan, when the clouds covered the peak. :P

I have no idea! We'll leave it for now, and maybe snag a mod if the time presents itself.

EDIT: Oh, looks like you worked it out!
Thank you so much. I've really, really enjoyed writing with you too. It has been a while since I've been so excited for a story!

That arc sounds great!

I love ancient tombs, because they have so much potential. It could easily have magical elements that our pair would have to account for, even beyond the visions. Last time I wrote about a tomb, it had a relic that brought the dead inside of it back to life. Sort of a twist on the standard zombie scene. By no means am I saying we should do that here, but it is something to consider. Why write about a tomb if we don't have fun with it?

I'd also like to see a contrast between whoever has the foresight, and whoever doesn't. For example, while someone is busy with these visions, maybe they aren't aware of what else is happening around them? Or there's a strange sensation that they are blocked from because they have this new ability? Just stuff to throw around!

I'll get a post for you in a couple hours. Also, looks like the site glitches are getting to the IC. You may have a few extra posts to delete!
I wasn't totally sure which direction you were taking the meeting, so please let me know if I need to change Arianth's dialogue. :)
With Mansuto's words, Leoria felt dread grip her. Its cold fingers sunk into her skin, and despite the warmth of hall, she shuttered slightly. He wanted her there? But why? And what excuse did he have for ending the transmission so abruptly? Of course, his demeanor was not so warm as Arianth's, but he had never struck Leoria as an exceptionally rude or hurried individual. What matter was so pressing? The rosy pink color drained from her cheeks. Was someone hurt? Was someone dead? "No," she replied in a voice that did not sound like her own. "She hasn't contacted me." Hadn't she said only moments before that worrying would do no good? Damn hypocrite.

But when her wide gaze swung to Yerbol's, she found only good-naturedness dancing within his emerald eyes. And as he recounted their first trip together, she felt the negative emotions ebbing. Her smile, and her blush, returned. "Your master nearly passed out at the thought! I don't think I've ever seen that little vein in his forehead pop out so far before. And I don't think Arianth has ever laughed so hard either. Do you remember how she added a comment about feminine wiles, just to fan the flames?" Now, finally, her smile extended to her eyes.

Closely flanking her taller companion, Leoria entered the chamber. Her blue eyes narrowed, first to adjust to the bright light, and later due to suspicion. Why were they alone? As if on cue, Mansuto burst onto the scene. He looked a bit flustered, and his words tumbled from his lips far too quickly. That sinking feeling returned to the pit of the girl's stomach.

"N-no," she replied, forcing a quick cough to mask her stutter. "No one has reached out to me. At least, nothing out of the usual. I did receive word that I was not meant to travel to Corulag today, as originally planned."

"Yes, that message came from me." There was Arianth, who had entered the room with the same soft grace she spoke with. But upon closer inspection, Leoria noted tell-tale traces of dishevelment. Stray stands of her graying blonde hair had slipped from their normally tight bonds, and her deep-set eyes were red around the edges. She gave a slight nod to her young charge, and the girl's friend. With an easy flick of her wrist, she invited the pair to sit, while doing so herself. Mansuto already occupied the seat beside her. "Thank you both for joining us," the Master continued. "No point in beating around the bush." An old idiom, Leoria noted briefly. Arianth was known for sprinkling them in wherever she could. When she spoke again, her tone was grave. "We need your help."
Not a problem! And I would be happy to write her. You're welcome to snag her for a line or two too if it makes your bit easier.
Looks great! And no worries on the anime bit. I love anime. :)

Here's what I have. Not the most bubbly, happy picture of her, but I still draw inspiration from it. Reflects her more mellow approach to life.

The Knight shifted beside him on the bench, long, lithe fingers plucking at a stray fiber on her brown robes. The conversation had turned serious, as it had a tendency to do when Yerbol was involved. He was a force of nature when he had to be, that fire and passion as wild as the horses that thundered across Dathomir. Yet on a dime, he could grow as philosophical as they came. Despite her discomfort at the subject change, Leoria smiled inwardly. Capable, but contemplative. Responsive, but reflective. No wonder the powers that be pegged him as a good Jedi Knight.

"I can't say for sure how they see us." The sound of her own voice over the soft babble of the waterfall brought her back to the present. "I think it varies, depending on where you are. There are some people who are going to dislike us, no matter what we do." And you cannot lose yourself to please those people. The teaching of her master echoed in her ears. It had been a hard lesson for Leoria to learn. Secretly, she wondered how others would have reacted had they known just how hard. Arianth had been patient, warm, and accommodating. Another mentor may not have been so understanding. Yerbol believed that there was a grand scheme, and so did she. Most days. Believe that, or you'll go crazy. There was no room for doubt, as Arianth had also ingrained within her. She would drive herself crazy questioning whether or not she was an effective Knight. I wouldn't be here if I weren't.

Suddenly putting voice to her thoughts, she said, "I think we'll drive ourselves mad trying to figure out the Masters. If we do what we determine is the right thing, every time, we'll remain a force for good. And that's something. But maybe it is best that we don't worry about how we're viewed." Her words an octave softer now, she added, "but easier said than done."

Another smile, this one slightly more forced than the others. "In the spirit of not worrying, let's not stress this meeting you have with the Council member. I'm sure it is good news anyway."
Hope I wasn't too assuming with that foundation! I know Jedi aren't buddy/buddy, but I've seen enough solid friendships in the movies that it seemed alright. I had considered having some sort of rift between the two, and having them not get along, but I'd rather have a friendship first. If we want to drive a wedge between them later, we can. And she is already so much fun to write.

Posted for you as well! Ditto, on the changing anything bit.
The woman nodded sagely. "I see now," came the rejoinder, "you've been in time-out." Her smile grew, the light, and the humor, masking the worry that lingered behind her eyes. Leoria had been concerned about her friend's absence, but considering that his old master was equally absent, she had assumed they were together. Where her presence often cooled situations, Yerbol had a fire about him that often did the opposite. She had seen this phenomenon first-hand, and often found her compassion extending to whoever was on the other end of his anger. She also found herself remembering to stay on his good side.

But when it came to the incident on Tattoine, she knew very little. She had not accompanied him on that trip, as she had been shipped off elsewhere. There were whispers, of course, hushed and toxic in nature. Rumors benefited no one, she would scold if she came close enough to someone. But her own interest was piqued, and she wondered if her friend would open up to her. Was the reality as gruesome as the images that rumors had conjured up for her? She would not ask him, not then anyway. If he had wanted to share, he would have done so in that moment. His silence revealed far more than the words he spoke.

Now, her attention returned to those words, and her smile faltered just slightly. "Yeah, this place feels completely lifeless. I don't like it. And no, they told me last night that they no longer needed me. Apparently Lirike is going in my place." The kind-hearted girl would not reveal her frustration with being replaced by someone who barely passed Knight training, but she did feel it. "No excuse, just pulled me. I'm wondering if they have something else planned for me. Hoping, really." Then, she returned his nudge. "Your company is an added bonus."
No problem at all!

Also, in regard to your message, no worries on continuity. I have no problems with creating an alternative timeline or making changes

Good! That makes me feel so much better. :)
