It would be a lot of coincidences though... I had to bring it up.
Then why was that memory data in Sam, one of her viruses? That makes five.

<Snipped quote by Webmaster>
I don't really know much of anything about Sam to say, but possibly?
<Snipped quote by Server>
Okay. If Melody was willing to apply the program to herself as 01, and not just some arbitrary, meaningless test subject, then what if the other three subjects are also not arbitrary? What if those other three subjects are other people who are important to her who she'd also want to have the benefits of the program. Those specific three people, no more and no less. An exact collective of three other individuals, one of which we can't account for, and the other two of which we know are having trouble with their memory. And not just a single instance of having trouble with their memory, but as of meeting here today, have proven to have had their altered memory restored to a state where they didn't know about each other.
*Glances down at the floor, avoiding eye contact with anyone*
<Snipped quote by Webmaster>
Not necessarily. But her user info was the only one who accessed the experiment data at all, on top of all the info about the specifics of the work being wiped.
<Snipped quote by Server>
I'm not stopping short now, because I'm unfortunately not done.

*Takes a deep breath*
Right now, we're assuming "Purge01" is an experiment, and underscore-zero-one, two, three, and four are test subjects, right? We know it was tested on viruses at least, and we know... What we learned about Melody. If we just assume for a second that, if this Purge01 is a restorative program of sorts with some flaws, what if Melody wasn't just a researcher, but is one of the test subjects?

You have to. I mean it. I hate keeping secrets- that will just slow us down. If I end up wrong, then we can forget about it when it's over and move on. But with all possibilities on the table, you have to promise.
<Snipped quote by Webmaster>
You all have to promise not to hate me for even thinking it. I'm serious.
*Looks at Rhythm when I say this as well*
<Snipped quote by Webmaster>
*My gaze wanders to the floor in thought, and I frown*
Hm...
<Snipped quote by Server>
<Snipped quote by Ignacious>
*Puts an arm around Rhythm's shoulder*
It's alright. We're all trying to work through this together. Same team, yeah?
<Snipped quote by Server>
Well yeah, you aren’t the same because what is saved is only up to that point…
*looks at Tempo and around where we are, sighing*
Look, I know your world is not whole right now, but trying to figure this out is what I am here for. My goal is to help put things back together as best as possible even if it is messy.
<Snipped quote by Server>
I’m being realistic here. For our kind it is not uncommon for us who traverse between the real and digital world to create a save state of ourselves. You mom could be trying to preserve herself by doing a version of that. But it messed up within Sam and caused him to go into a frenzy. At least, that is what I can think of. I do not mean to offend though.
<Snipped quote by Webmaster>
We found out that your mother was a virus herself, right? It is probably utilizing its replication thing to hold onto and make Sam a save state for her in case she was deleted or something.
