*Looks down at it*
She’s going to have to. It says we’re still transferring right now. But with the old, dilapidated machinery, its weird design, and the active radiation in the area, the range we can work with is probably incredibly limited.

I think I'm going to take a line from your book and report this to the municipality.
<Snipped quote by Server>

At minimum? I’m afraid it’ll make the data we’re looking for irrecoverable with how destructive it’s being.

Can you prevent that from here? I figured Cure was doing the heavy lifting.
<Snipped quote by Server>

I’m fine for now. I’m afraid of moving out of range before it’s done, though.

What are you afraid it's going to do?
<Snipped quote by Server>

There’s no point in that then.
*Takes a step back from the chaos*
Hopefully Cure can hold it back while the process finishes.

Most importantly, are you okay? No burns?
<Snipped quote by Server>

Whatever it’s doing can’t be good, right? We have to stop it.

It’s blasting that control panel with radiation. You could destroy the terminal, but we’d lose our chance to grab the memory data.

Whay!
*Flails my arms around as I slide across the floor on my back. After coming to a stop, I hurriedly sit up and hold my arm out, pulling my black box into my hand telekinetically*

I think we just found out why they got out of this place as quick as they could.

*Reels in surprise, slipping on a piece of rubble and falling backwards onto the floor*

*Extends my hand, and the reactor glows a brilliant azure*

We've got to go.
*Grabs your shirt and yanks you with a near-fling into the outer control room*
<Snipped quote by Server>

I like the way you think, because I do not want to be here any longer than needed.
*Takes a compact drive from my pocket, plugs it into my little box, and tries to initiate a backup*

*The terminal gladly complies and begins the transfer*
I'll bet the demolitionists felt the same way.
*Half-smirks*
Enough that they decided to never come back.
<Snipped quote by Server>

Man…
*Tries to interact with the terminal manually now*
Can we even get anything useful from this at this point, then?

*A new suite of options opens up from the terminal, partially obscured by a yellow warning modal suggesting manual maintenance*
We should really just do a full backup of the server, run through the memory and storage bit-by-bit, and get as much that matches Purge01's pattern that we can. If it's even on there.
<Snipped quote by Server>

Why’s a computer in a place like this behave like this?

From what I can tell, this is corrupted. Probably from radiation exposure.
