Hard-er, but not impossible. Its difficulty is almost entirely just making sure we don’t get you hurt, which I’m sure you’ll appreciate in the long term.
*Nods*
Will it be fast enough that I don't starve?

<Snipped quote by Server>
It could vary. It clearly already has at least some, since something like this existing in a person’s body… Wouldn’t be something you find naturally, to say the least. But it could have assigned behaviors entirely centered around regulation and attachment. Or it could also have behaviors assigned toward adhesion, or even self-preservation and systemic defense. That’s going to be something we need to take the time on and work out.
*Raps my fingernails on one hand against the desk in repetition*
It could turn out to be an easy fix, but assuming that’s going to be the case could be dangerous. So I might need you to hang around for a while.
<Snipped quote by Server>
I do think so. But first, I want to test the behavior of what’s going on to see if there are any special rules to them. For all intents and purposes, if they are not inherently resistant to interaction, then removing them will actually be incredibly easy. But with stuff made by powers of different folks, you have to take into account special rules that apply to them, so for all intents and purposes I’m going to have to take it slowly and carefully to make sure we don’t trigger any reactions that make things worse.

*Smiles at you through the window*
A few things. Mainly, it would have meant an operation could be more dangerous than otherwise. But for just about every reason, it’s good that it doesn’t hurt.
<Snipped quote by Server>
That’s good. That bodes well in terms of how much any potential operation might hurt you, short or long term.
<Snipped quote by Server>
*Leans forward and scans all wavelengths to see if there are any unique traces of radiation coming from your body, in particular from these epicenters, harmful or otherwise, and especially focused on thermal output*
Hmm… We can circle back to that, because I’m curious. This should be treatable, though, as long as Mierno hasn’t put any special rules in place with arbitrary ability tomfoolery. Have you experienced any physical pain that you think might stem from this, beyond just hunger pains?
<Snipped quote by Server>
*Sits down in a swivel chair, staring in thought at the screen and rotates back and forth slightly, legs crossed and using one ankle as a pivot*
Is that the start of your history or did it begin somewhere else, even before that?
<Snipped quote by Server>
Tangentially. We’re not particularly close.
*Tasks the computer to tally the number of points across your body where this phenomenon occurs*
I don’t know him to be a bad person though, at least not on purpose. Do you two not get along?
<Snipped quote by Server>
Mierno’s not exactly the sort to deal in the metaphysical, at least not to my knowledge. That bodes well for meaning it’s a manageable problem.
<Snipped quote by The Odeoron>
Right. That entirely depends-
<Snipped quote by Server>
*Walks around to an adjacent room, and a panel on the wall opens up to reveal a window, clearly meant for observation but with a load of equipment and monitors behind it. I try to pinpoint the exact epicenter of the force sapping energy from your body with remote scans*
Tell me, Jade. What happened exactly? Were you attacked? Physically assualted?
