Like saturday...sunday? I had little time to work on my sheet due to schoolwork.

Posting my sheet on the Library. Heavy WIP but finished the history and added some pics to the Army overview. I will be gone for most of the day tomorrow.

Nation's History

At its height before the Jakarta Flu, the Sixth Empire was failing. Racial strife, political instability, irredentist movement’s border raids from the north by the (Troll Claws?) was withering away an old empire. The Jakarta Flu which was transported unknowingly by its vast maritime trade fleets to Galatis and to other parts of the world brought down the empire to its knees.

A period of unstable order reigned twenty years after the Jakarta Flu. The only thing keeping the Sixth Aftokratoria together was unity between the Galatis, Valkanian, and the Aigyptiakí̱an, who held hands together since the early eras of the world. Yet corruption reigned high during the twenty years. The Moral fabric of the Sixth Aftokratoria descended into darkness were crime reigned supreme, were towns, and villages forcefully gave up their will to the gangs and syndicates that protected them from the ungodly races, and the unwanted ethnic groups within the Empire.

Landen Shelly invention of steam power brought in a renaissance of the arts, and technology into Galates that permeated into the minds of millions of nihilistic individuals that there was hope for the future. In a few years, steam technology began to appear in decaying, crime-ridden cities of the old aftokratoria that would help bring in a new dawn to these settlements.

What was most notable was Calandra tou Karadordevic, a Philosopher/Engineer on her Theory of Transcendence which deeply affected the international religious/philosophical community, which theorized that organizations such as political parties, gangs, and religious sects corrupt the purity of individuals and that self-reliance and independence are best for the people when they are free of these organizations, which inspired a mass ‘moment” were individuals disengaged themselves from the various organizations and some opposing them.

Karadordevic Theory was not the moment that brought Galates to international attention but the Galatis Reunification War that was waged with Landen Shelly technology. The IGR or the Seventh Empire conquered vast swaths of their former territories, launching cleansing operations upon the criminal states and non-accepted racial/ethnic states located within its core lands.

Galates in the end united with many objectives of its war completed. Schédio Anástasi̱ was implemented to bring back up the status of the wrecked state of Galates to the power it once held in the world. Yet the people who expected a representative democracy were the people were involved in the government, did get it…sort of in a way.
Political representation was given only to those to the upper and middle-upper class population. Literacy rate extremely plunged during the flu as Khalid desired for an intelligent population fit for political representation that would make the best decisions for the Seventh Empire.

Galates is reclaiming its status as a world power. A modernizing economy and rapidly growing population is bringing out decades of damage caused by the Jakarta Flu and its subsequent wars. Yet societies will clash. Ideology and morals will battle out within this country. In the end, Galates is phoenix ascending in the world…yet the nation and its people must stand the test of time and soon…face the sins of its ancestors.
