So... All in favor of starting this with who's here? Others can join as they arrive? I'm sure @Devo will make his way eventually .... Should we all start a new one and just move our characters over?

The American Dream

He reached over his shoulder to the bag seat and grabbed a small black bag, pulling it up to his lap and opening up. He had to make this quiet, and quick. So many choices, but he didn't want to actually hurt her.

He looked up just in time to catch another glimpse of her walking up in his direction. He watched as she carelessly flirted with some guys nearby. Maybe that was his in. He got out of his vehicle, opening up the trunk and shuffling through some things to make room. As she closed in to about 20 yards away, he turned and set the wheels of his plan in motion. In a loud voice he yelled out in her direction...

"Wow!"

Busy.... A little stressed because of it... but overall I can't complain. Too much to be thankful for. How are you?

The American Dream

Jak took a deep breath. He flipped through the messages on his phone as he waited to make his move. He never enjoyed this. There was always risk. There was always a lot of variables. It was too difficult to calculate exactly what was going to happen. He didn't have a choice. This had to happen.... now.

He caught a glance of a beautiful young girl with striking white hair. He quickly pulled up the pictures in his phone. Just to make sure. That was her. He got up from his park bench, pulled his hood up over his head and began walking in the direction of the bank. As he expected, things didn't go as planned.

She paused, and then turned to walk up the street. He had no choice but to abandon his spot and return to his vehicle. He hurried over to his black Jeep Wrangler, and tried to pick up which direction she went. It didn't talk long to find her again thankfully, as she stood out a bit from a crowd. He raced ahead of her, and began scoping the area.

There was a decent amount of houses and businesses. Plenty of people. This may not be easy. He picked a parking spot along side the road he had seen her walking down and waited, hoping she came that way.

Bio: Jak had always been smart. He knew he was smart as well. At the age of 16 he dropped out of high school to pursue other interests. That led to a falling out with his parents, and a huge argument ensued. His entire life Jak had never been enough for his parents. It didn't matter how many A's he got, or how many sports he played in, or how many awards he won. They were never happy with him.

The argument was the breaking point. His father drew his pistol, pointing it directly in Jak's face, and screamed at him to get out, and never come back. He had no son anymore. Jak hated the feeling he had in that moment. He was vulnerable. He was weak. He left.

That feeling however, was one he vowed to never have again. Now homeless, his smarts were the only thing that kept him alive. He found ways to make and/or take money as he went. Eventually his talents and street smarts were noticed. He began working for people. His skills continued to impress, and he began working his way up within the organized crime world, eventually until he was at a place where he started calling some of the shots. The crimes escalated, the payoff escalated, and his ego grew.
