Bio

Biopunk, comic book (still mostly superheroes mind you), fantasy and oddball character aficionado. I'm back and ready to git loogin'. I am a Hufflepuff Primary with a Ravenclaw Secondary. I probably model Gryffindor as a secondary and model Gryffindor primary as well. Those are just my hunches but I bleed black and yellow. Though Pittsburgh can go plug a hole for all I care. My spirit guide is Phoebe Buffay which is awesome and fits me like a glove. For you Meyers-Briggs enthusiasts I'm a ESFP

I write almost every day either as a novel or just as casting for my many idea for RPs or just stories. Theme and genres for RPs are mostly superheroes (any kind prefer original superheroes but not against DC or Marvel at all), fantasy (original ideas get a cut to the front), urban fantasy, and biopunk and most any soft sci-fi. Romance is a great sub genre. School RPs are fine but put a spin on them. I'm now open to anime games, I'm team Digimon 4 lyfe and Ah! My Goddess still holds up. I have realized I totally suck at large RPs mostly because I just can't keep up with them under any circumstances, this was a suspicion I had for a long time and it has just been confirmed. I am a Christian as well, if that fact alone makes you squirm please don't cross my path, I will merely ignore you. If it doesn't welcome to my mind.

Story Hooks

Model search... male model search, affair ensues

Matchmaking, hijinks ensues

job interview, sexual tension ensues
OOC is up by the way.
@Dark LightTotally depends on YOUR character. My character who's a love, childbirth and art goddess LOVES being a matchmaker, likes motherhood but is haunted by losing all six of her children and HATES modern art (but loves old school art and such).
So you play a god, well only a god part time. In a modern world Gods are hard to come by so you're not really a god per say 100% you're an avatar of a pantheon that isn't culture specific. You can influence the town you live in for example a God of Fertility's town will have a lot of children per family, a patron saint of mimes will have a lot of clowns and mimes plus maybe a small circus in town, a Goddess of Love (love and lust a VERY different in this world) will have a low divorce rate, ect. You can hang out with "followers" though they're more like friends who like you and it depends on you if you actually care if they know you're a god (Hint: They shouldn't). This isn't a game where gods go pew pew at each other or the the world and it's far more social than that (and more subtle if you really want to go that route) it's more or less god avatars chillin' and dealing being partly mortal. If you want to scale towards being top god it'll take far more finesse than exploding every last god.

This is an interest check and if you're really into it PM me a character, I like initiative.

Note: Due to the fact this is a large group RP please post where you are and who you're interacting with. All other guild rules apply.

Another Rule is only one god per Pantheon (especially if it's their primary pantheon). I'm more lenient with tertiary pantheons. This is to make the characters more diverse, I WILL however allow a God AND a Goddess have the same pantheon if someone really gives me a good hook.

Also make a relationship sheet when able to with other players. See Lady A's relationship Template for details, I will add a hider tomorrow for said sheet but I have a busy day all day and working very early to set stuff up.

@Dark Light Sounds totally fun, yet full of tragic impacts in your turf. Increase in crime, unplanned pregnancies and drunk driving... yes you're going to have a lot of fake blood and ruined lives on your hands.

Again when you're picking pantheons. Think about what would impact society.
@Patches Not trying to be a jerk or condescending, far from it however from my experience and from what others have done here is some advice:

1. Ever considered a Co-GM? It might sound silly for a free to casual game but I think if work is your issue you can get one that runs "the daily maintenance" when you deal with the actual story.
2. Sadly I know the feeling from both a player and a GM side. One of the reasons I pitch so many games now isn't due to me being obsessed with RPing but more due to the fact I want at least one going and most tend to die quickly
3. Interest is easy, it's keeping that interest going that's difficult

And I figured they would conflict of course just no mustache twirling bad guy lol.
@Patches That sounds kinda awesome. Especially for a free or a low casual game. I'm not saying the game sounds shallow by saying that. However I think slice of life where there are no antagonists tend to gravitate towards lighter type of RP.
Hey! Interested, but I've got a couple questions-

1. Are the gods in this universe born from god-parents or just plain ol' parents? And if they are "created", how does that work?
2. So the gods in this universe are partly mortal; does that mean that their lifespans just as long as an average human being's?
3. I know you said the gods are "avatars" of certain Pantheons, but can they be based off of a specific god/goddess from a specific culture? Or are they supposed to represent the pantheon as a whole?

Thanks!!!

1. Their bloodline is at least half divine in my head (though given that your family is mostly mortal the divine parent is more distant to you than your full parent). However they don't need to be from a certain culture's pantheon per say (ie a death god doesn't need to be descended from Hades or Baron Samedi)< You can also go the arbitrary route where you yourself don't know what happened.

2. Yes, gods can die like humans due to the fact that 1. Faith concerning them is small and 2. there's no recorded history of your god (a God in this universe can survive without worshippers as long as they're records of their existence, think about how humanity remembers long dead patheons through pop culture like video games referencing Hellenistic gods or comics referencing Norse pantheons, belief is far stronger than just wiping out believers besides, if your God is out there in some type of form of media some people might have KNOWLEDGE about your god or even convert)

3.They CAN be descended from a certain culture but it's not required as listed above you can be descended from a certain God or Goddess but it's not required. This is based off Part Time Gods not Scion which is where you have to play a descendant of a certain culture God. Mine is a mix.

Very welcome for your interest and I apologize for the delay, body needed sleep.
@MissCapnCrunch Great to hear that honored to be on the team
