I graduated from Ringling college, majoring in Illustration, but took classes for three years in Computer Animation. I currently work in Hollywood making movie posters, so I spend a good deal of my time at work.
I almost exclusively RP MxM. This doesn't mean I can't RP female NPC, I just tend to lose interest with MxF relationships. I prefer there to be romance in my RP, at least to some degree. I tend to swear and write enough violence that I would say it isn't for kiddies, so 18+ only.
Pet peeves:
Only past tense writing, nothing like "I would go to open the door." "I take a deep breath."
Really, really atrocious spelling.
Contradictory writing: "Her hands were bound behind her back, she reached up to grab for him." (I've seen it a lot, I'm not joking.)
Not using names where pronouns don't work: "He turned to him to talk about him." If it's just men standing around, this gets crazy confusing.
Not reading what I post carefully enough, which either you're lazy, actually don't get it. (I'm not talking about once, I mean every other post.) For instance, if I say only one guy goes to the woods with you, none of this "She looked around at all of them." NO, nope, no one's there, I said you went alone.
If you do these things, that's not advanced, that's casual, and I'm too passive aggressive sometimes to call people on it, so might as well mention it here to save us both time. I lose interest rapidly, because I construe it as my partner not caring, and that makes me not care.

18+ so there's no limits. I mostly RP in email (ya'll, gmail saves your post when you stop on a PC and oen an email on your phone a second later. Super useful) or Skype, PMs are a bit harder to work with when I'm at work or on my phone.
I'm not necessarily looking for a romance RP, I just tend to favor MxM characters or buddy-cop style adventures and bromance. I like it, what can I say. I like to read fanfiction, but I'd rather not RP it, if that makes sense. By all means, shout ideas at me, I'm just looking for a new RP I can love and enjoy and cry over.
There's nothing that really peeves me, I can handle speed typing typos etc, people make mistakes, human and all, I just want to be able to understand what's going on. If you have trouble understanding English, I don't mean to discriminate. Also I believe in posting what's necessary. If you want to post "He aimed a punch for his left temple." And send and that seems appropriate, do it. Don't add unnecessary fluff to try to add girth, it's a silly concept. Post what seems right.
I tend to fall back on these ideas, if you were looking for a starter idea; -Kidnapping -Two races forced to make peace -Arranged marriage -Paired together against their will to solve a case, slay dragon, investigate etc. -Partners in crime (one is captured) --- Feel free to suggest anything. I don't like to hash out the entire plot, I'm cool with a general description or a picture and an inciting incident and jumping in. If it turns out lame we can always start over, they're just words. ---
If we're going to get them all romantic and shit then my only things are that I have trouble getting into the classic "furry". Monstly human with some animal features, sure thing. Don't care about werewolves, those are cool, have fun with your species otherwise. Even if you do RP a furry, I'll prolly be fine with it, but enthusiasm will be at 70%. Don't worry about triggering or anything, I'm the most laid back partner you can get. I'm not mean, I don't bite, I jsut wanna RP the things.
(FYI if you are legit a narcissist looking to fulfill some kind of power fantasy. No thank you. I swear, I've had those before.)

Zazriel woke from yet another nightmare, hair plastered to his sweaty cheek. He stared at the ceiling, chest heaving, making sure he really was awake and not still trapped in a nightmare. He was afraid to look at the wall at the other side of the room. He was so afraid of what he would see. He kept his eyes locked on the ceiling, because maybe if he didn't look, it wouldn't be real.
He counted down the seconds, then sat up, his heart skipping a beat at the sight of the mirror adjacent to his bed. Nearly the entire mirror was black now, covered in what looked like ash, but no matter how he scrubbed at it, it wouldn't come off. He sat up all the way, hands shaking, and turned his back on the mirror. The whispers from it were stronger now, sounds that might be mistaken for the rush of wind, or the creaking of the trees, but he knew better.
He stood, moving to wash his face in the fountain in the corner. He didn't look back at the mirror, walking to the balcony of his doorless, escape-proof room. He pulled himself up onto the railing, sitting cross legged on the edge. The structure was too high to escape on foot without dying, a tower built to be nothing more than a cell, a cage, and a shrine. He looked out over the forest, the mountains, and could see the light of the city at night, reflecting off the fog. He used to look at the glow with hope, now he only looked at it with hatred and despair.
The days left until Arioch was reborn were shortening. He didn't want to die, but he was trapped. He'd hoped for a time that someone might come save him, but he only had two days left, and that hope was nearly gone.

He watched Alain come back, pleasantly distracted by the taste of memories in the book he held. He almost didn't answer him at his comment, but that felt deceitful, especially since Alain had been so forthcoming. "I'm not interested in the book, I'm interested in you." It was the simple truth of it, and he didn't want to lie to him, nor did he want him to ask him not to look. The book seemed an innocent enough thing to snoop around, and he wasn't going to blatantly read the bed, that seemed an invasion of privacy. "You're a far better student than I ever was." He wasn't going to comment on the deeper emotions he felt on the books, it felt like something that should remain unspoken.

And I agree, I want drama in their relationship, I want them to hate each other, then be friends, then lose trust; Like a real relationship lol I'm thrilled, I don't even know what I'd want to do more. I'm tempted to beg for two haha but whatever you're more interested, I'd be 100% down with. We seem to be interest soul mates. I'm inclined towards merpeople because I've never gotten anyone to linger on them for longer than a handful of posts, which saddens me. I like RP with the potential to with do to infinity and beyond or wrap up with a lovely ending (Which only happened once, but it was extremely satisfying.)

but still milkable story of 'Human finds X-creature and has to hide X-creature from their family / friends / FBI babysitters / Whatever --- I agree, I love to do it, even if it's sometimes silly, but given your tastes I feel like we'd fight over who gets to be the supernatural guy lol
I'm down for getting in a bunch of characters, I just feel really guilty when it ends up with me talking to myself cause I don't want to bore you. I'm not gonna lie, I like romance, but not in the love'at'first'sight situation. I like friendships that gradually incline towards romance, but it really just depends on how the RP unfolds. (I'll warn you though, I have this disorder where I cannot abandon my main OC lol I have a current partner that treats them like kleenex and it's agonizing)
I've actually been sort of digging a merfolk situation, though I'm not sure what I want. I'm into the idea that they would be warriors, not flowery princesses, but that's my two cents.

1. How many paragraphs do you normally expect from your partner? Anything you look for in particular quality-wise?
2. I'd assume that RPs will be conducted in Skype, barring any issues, correct?
YAY I'm always 100% into that.
Paragraph length doesn't really matter too much to me so long as it isn't blatantly dismissive lol like if you wrote a five paragraph love letter and they responded "k". Whatever feels appropriate ~ Quality-wise, as long as contribution is happening I'm all good. Sometimes I get RP partners that seem dead set on giving me nothing to work with *sadness*

Here are some ideas I've had going around if you have any interest in them. I'm open to brainstorming as well! I prefer 18+ and I"ll throw it out there, the line I will not cross is seriously far away, but I'm pretty good at gauging what my RP partner does and doesn't want in the RP. That said, just lemme know what makes you uncomfortable and we won't do it.
I like to RP mature stuff, but that doesn't mean it has to get intense, nor does it mean I don't want plot. I'm doing this for the plot, the rest is only icing on the cake. I'm also a cheeseball with romance RPs, I like to keep the drama and fluff truckin.

My go to is Skype, followed by email and google docs as a last resort. (I like that in skype you can have multiple RPs with a person and a new convo you can name for each. It helps keep things organized and also, I get push notifications on my phone and stuff which is convenient ya'll.

I'm interested, and I'm like some kind of RP crack addict, so if I'm not being talked at or at work I'm posting. I do het and mxm but I've never been much good at yuri - I NPC females just fine but as a main character I tend to fail so uhh, rather than make anyone suffer, I'd rather not. Only occasionally do human OCs (no furry stuff) demons, dragon shifters, mages etc. Been into a whole range of things lately, so if you're interested, brainstorming can happen?
Alsssoooo I'm not sure I can stomach PMs again. Every time I try it ends in disaster for one reason or another (posts not sending, not getting notifications for posts etc.) So I usually use email or skype, occasionally google docs. (I've broken the email with +500 replies before .__. )
