Bariq looked up from feeding his pet some beef jerky, noting a new student come in. He didn't mind all the late students - Eventually he would have to start writing them up, yes, but it was the first day. Not that the boy seemed interested in arriving to classes on time, but he would get the benefit of doubt. "Hello." He gestured the student to come over before sitting down, handing him the same packet and papers everybody else had. "Syllabus and all those things. We aren't doing much right now."
Masilalt wandered around, not caring that he was lost.He was talking to himself in a language other than English. He was reciting to himself the things he would need to get a voodoo doll of the teacher, and other things he could do to spite him. An idea he enjoyed was finding Davidson's car and drawing pentagrams on it in his own blood, but that would require actually finding his car. Of course, he could always take the idea straight to his classroom. Masi was wrapped up in his thoughts, not paying attention to where he was going.
he likes cute things and dislikes humans
hes off to a good start
the wereshark is...the most beautiful creature i have ever seen
think im going to make a new character soon though too
: o cool beans cant wait to meet him
Ali looked at the newcomer, and Bariq relaxed a bit, thinking that maybe this is what his pet was focused on. "It's fine, I understand." He grabbed some papers from various folders, "Come up here and get the things you missed. We aren't doing anything, really, "
"Probably." At the complement, Bariq smiled, visibly happier. "Thank you! He is wonderful." He treated Ali as if they were his child, he treasured them, and compliments on them always improved his mood. He didn't mind Ace's yelling for now, since it wasn't hurting anyone. The pet turned its attention to the door, staring at it but not moving. He focused on the spot his pet was looking, concentrating to see through the cement, seeing a vague shape. "Ali, come here." It obeyed the command, still concentrated on the door.
Letmehaveone2 said "I sure hope nothing else goes wrong."

i'm laughing, the poor woman
in the span of like an hour one teacher has caused two problems
Bariq looked up, and saw the student with his pet. "Oh?" He grinned, "Interesting. Usually Ali doesn't examine students." The beast in question tilted its head, making a low noise that meant nothing in particular, licking the dog's face.

"Ugh, whatever." Masilalt shook his head, not having the patience to properly deal with someone who wouldn't show themselves. He found it amusing that Davidson had threatened to both detain and suspend him, and so far neither was happening. However, it was weird that a student could walk the halls like this unquestioned, with no extra staff members being out to watch for beings like him.
For once in his life, Masilalt was hoping someone would set up a summoning circle and take him. He didn't know if he could deal with this teacher the four years he was going to be here. He walked through the halls, iron horseshoes making audible clicks. He really wanted to posses someone, or get an opportunity to use his magic, or something. Things like that always helped him calm down, which he needed right now. Walking in the front end of the school, he could feel some kind of energy, and stopped. Interesting that he could feel someone, but not see them.
Bariq was glad that every student cooperated, and he could now put names to faces in this block. "Great! Now, I had some things to start, but first block was completely thrown off and I wasn't able to get anything done in there, and I'd like to keep all classes on the same pace, so consider it a free block." He took a seat at his desk, taking attendance. His beast went up to Ace, sniffing him.
