Upon hearing what Aiden had to say when he intervened in the argument Masilalt was trying to start, he laughed, almost in disbelief. Was this guy even a demon? He gave off the feeling of one, but he had never met another demon who got involved in business like that. He had to at least understand the rivalry between the two opposing sides, right? "It's funny, how you get involved in these things." However, his interruption seemed to work, as the Alp settled back down and faced front again. He figured he would need to watch Aiden, he wasn't one hundred percent of what they could do.
He barely paid attention to what the Headmaster had to say. Of course he heard everything, but he was more focused on his arms. His various tattoos and runes didn't show on his human form, and noticing this, he wondered if they still worked. Though the less intimidating form was only an illusion, he was doubtful if they would. Of course, if he really needed something, he had his magics on his side. With the shadowhunter now in the scene he wasn't sure if that would be enough, and he made it a point to get the protection again as soon as he could.
Though eager to get out, Masilalt calmly stood up, stretching his arms out. "I'll follow you." While it wasn't necessary to with most of the student party moving in a herd to the location, it was still better to go with a group.
