Luther had lost track of how long the demon had been haunting him. He figured that he just wasn't used to places out of Louisiana, and attributed the awful hallucinations and lack of sleep over trouble adjusting to that. Or, maybe he was just going insane. The stress of going through graduate school was also something he thought about. Along with all of the other conditions, the voice would tell him things. Most of the time they were cryptic, but every so often it said something in plain English. A demon, it said...He wasn't even religious. Every night, his nightmares got worse, and his hallucinations became more livid. They were getting more gruesome, too...And as far as he knew, nothing was working. He had put himself in a psych ward for a week, to no avail. He felt the side effects of medicines, without getting the actual benefit. H never considered it more than for a second, he did sometimes think it was more than his own mind - His boyfriend did break up with him because of terrible nightmares they were having recently. While it could have been a coincidence, something in Luther considered it further. The problem kept getting worse every day, but at least he was finally getting used to it.
Then Luther received an email from a woman, taking about demons, and her own, and to meet her at a castle. Apparently, a castle that had been in her family. He was skeptical about it, but then again, he hadn't really mentioned the demon to much people. How else would she know? She sounded like she knew more than she let on. After asking her a few basic questions, he decided to go.
Luther arrived at the castle, and knocked at the door. Having never seen one in person before, it was pretty impressive, but he could easily get lost in it.
