Instinctively, Trill tried to slash through the hand with the knife.
Adrian nodded, rolling their eyes and backing off from his cell door, wandering around while talking. "Don't prisons usually hire doctors to work specifically at their prison? I can already tell, this doctor is going to be wonderful." Nice job on the unnamed doctor's part, they thought, missing the first day of work.
Trill jumped back, the gun long gone out of his hands. Of course there couldn't be a warning to that, right?
Sebastian suddenly realized that he must have looked stupid, standing there and saying nothing, and got embarrassed. He also realized that this was a terrible idea, upon hearing Francis's unmistakable voice. While the man put on a polite tone, he still terrified him. "I-it sounds lovely." He managed to get out. He was always impressed with people that could play instruments.
In his reluctance to go to the cafeteria, Sebastian had been wandering. Of course he wasn't sure of where he was, although a few days in the madhouse had given him somewhat of a mental layout of the floors. Finally deciding to work his way to lunch, he stopped, hearing music. Please don't be a spirit, of all things... he thought, heading towards the room. He stood in the doorway of where he heard the music coming from, relieved it wasn't a spirit but still not knowing who it was. There were so many different people to learn by aura alone, in such a small time, it was hard for him. On one hand the medium wanted to say something, but the person playing sounded pretty intent and he didn't want to interrupt.
Adrian looked around outside their cell, seeing a guard stationed between them and whoever was to the left of them. "Guard. From what I understand, in situations such as this the warden usually comes out to greet us all. Will we be getting the blessing of seeing the holy one?" They asked, voice heavy with sarcasm and bitterness.
Carefully, he picked up the knife. While it didn't explain how she got there, and stood up, the important part was that he had a manageable weapon now. He looked around, expecting something to happen but not sure what.
Trill was going to feel bad doing what he planned on doing, but now felt even worse as he delivered another blow.
Finally, about time something happened. He was almost getting tired of waiting. While Trill had no idea how to shoot the gun, he decided to see if a plan of running up, picking up the gun and bashing in the android's face with it could work. He had done some things similar in his hometown, though not on this scale, and hoped it would work the same.
Noticing the thing standing still, he stopped running, While curious at what exactly was going on, Trill decided to stay right where he was. He didn't want to get closer if it was a trap. He simply stood there, hoping to maybe be able to out-wait some timer he couldn't see, or something.
