Jenna sighed as the Blacksmith walked out with a "Hmph". It didn't really matter to her, she'd grown used to that kind of treatment over the years but it was still slightly irritating. The knowledge that the hostages hadn't been stopped by Deadshot made her happy and she forced a weak smile at Galahad's comment. After a second Jenna realized what he had just asked her and her eyes widened slightly as she turned to face him.

"My...My name?" She fidgeted a little bit "Umm..." Jenna knew that she couldn't tell him her real name, but she hadn't ever needed to come up with an alias before. None of the thugs and lowlifes she stopped or the people she saved had ever asked her what her name was, and now she was trying to think of one that wouldn't sound completely idiotic.

Jenna nervously ran a hand through her hair as she thought. Most superheroes and vigilantes she knew of had names that reflected their powers, like Deadshot, or their costume themes, like the famous Batman. Unfortunately, she didn't really have a costume so she had to work with her power. After a second of thought she decided that Teleport was out, along with Transport Girl and the dozen other names she thought of in the few seconds after Galahad asked her for her name.

Finally she swallowed the lump in her throat and tentatively spoke. "You can, uh...Call me Blink. Yeah, Blink." Jenna weakly smiled and pulled herself into a slightly tighter ball "What makes you think we'll meet again?"
Sounds good, can't wait to get started!
Jenna took a suspicious glance at the sandwich and sighed, realizing that she owed Galahad a lot. She picked up the plate and quickly scanned the sandwich with her eyes before she took a cautious bite. She saw the fury rise and fall in his eyes as she slowly ate and tried to get her stubborn side out of the way long enough to get out of here without making an enemy out of someone she would really rather be neutral to her. After she finished the sandwich she turned away from Galahad and sighed.

"Thanks." Jenna sighed again and took another look at her surroundings, raising an eye at the Batman mug Galahad was holding. She tried to figure Galahad out but after that momentary burst of anger she only saw a level of control that made her uneasy. People in control of their emotions were harder to predict and Jenna had learned a long time ago that the key to survival was planning for what the other person would do, and with Galahad she couldn't.

Jenna glanced her eyes at the Blacksmith and fought the urge to roll her eyes at the welder's mask. She tried to keep her voice even and non-confrontational while she spoke to him "I'm not going to tell anybody about your base. I want to get out of here just as much as you want me gone." She pulled her knees to her chest and put her arms over them "If it's any consolation, I didn't mean to pass out back there. I've never taken that many people with me before, I guess it was too much for me to handle."

Feneya smiled weakly at Istaria, she had probably been ignored by other dragons her entire life as many other serfs had been. Feneya narrowed her eyes at the brash dragon and wondered how long Istaria had suffered him. She glanced at the drake that had just joined them and gave him a simple nod, realizing that of all the dragons and dragonelles that had foolishly stayed with her, she was most probably the oldest. She thought for a moment and tried to think of some way to use that to get them to leave but she was too weak to think that much.

Instead she folded her good wing to her side and curled her own tail around her before she turned back to Istaria "My name is Feneya. Please don't call me 'my lady', Istaria, it's irritating." She turned to the dragon "And you, Dragon, would be better off if you learned to show some kindness to those younger than yourself, especially in this circumstance." Feneya smiled weakly at the young drake "You shouldn't be here, but you're welcome to stay."

Feneya shifted her weight off her injured shoulder and looked around for the missing dragonelle "Where is the wimborne?" She remembered the scent of human blood and her eyes widened "Did they attack her as well?"
Jenna raised an eyebrow at Galahad's seemingly kind gesture and watched the Blacksmith guy walk out of the room. She took a deep breath and figured out how long she would have to wait until she could get out of here. The old East-end...That means it's about five miles back to the warehouse district, I could cross that in... Jenna silently cursed Half an hour at the very earliest. Even then I'd probably pass out as soon as I got there.

She shook her head and muttered under her breath "Fantastic." She looked back up at Galahad and tried to get a read on him, but the only expression on his face she could see was weariness. That didn't sit well with her. She looked around at the subway station and wondered why people with such advanced tech would pick this as their secret base.

Jenna crossed both her arms across her chest and furrowed her brow at Galahad, processing his last words to her. Finally she spoke "I don't have a partner. I've never seen that bird guy before in my life."

The Blacksmith walked in and handed a cup of coffee and a sandwich to Galahad and Jenna ignored the painful rumbling of her empty stomach. She thought back to the first words she heard and raised her eyebrow at the masked man. "And you don't have to worry about the silverware, I'll be gone in thirty five."

She looked between both of them for a minute before her eyes rested on Galahad's face. Jenna's brow furrowed slightly and she spoke frankly "I could have gotten away from the cops once I woke up. You had a clear path out, and I didn't asked to be 'saved'." She leaned slightly forward and stared intently at Galahad "Why did you come back for me? What's in it for you?"
Sorry this is so late, hope it still works for you.

Name: Hessta Kerso

Personal: Age- 35
Gender- Male
Species- Yuan-ti

Species: Yuan-ti

General Appearance: Almost completely serpent with two arms and standing around 7 or 8 feet tall. Scale colors range from green to black, sometimes red, and their faces are slightly humanoid but still very snake-like (unblinking eyes, forked tongue, fangs). Most Yuan-ti are not venomous but one subspecies, the Yeshnaks, are highly venomous and are more physically enhanced than other Yuan-ti.
(general Yuan-ti)

Homeworld: The Yuan-ti come from the planet Yantar, a world that seems inhospitable to all except the Yuan-ti. Most of the planet is thick jungle and rocky mountains, but there are also many active volcanoes on its surface.

Culture: The Yuan-ti are ruled by a monarchy from a royal family line that has been unbroken for almost two thousand years. This line is the line of Yantar, the same name as their home planet, and are entirely Yeshnaks, having used their venom and increased strength to stay in control. Most laws boil down to "Don't cross the Royal Family or die." There are no prisons, all crimes are punished by immediate execution no matter the severity and as such, the crime rate is considerably low. When a child of the Royal family reaches 3 years old, they are immediately taught the arts of assassination, stealth, and all forms of combat, making them formidable rulers and often executioners. When dealing with other races, the Yuan-ti rulers have the appearance of kindness and courtesy but everything they do is for their own gain. Rulers of the Yuan-ti have been renowned as having silver tongues and honeyed words that let them manipulate almost all other species and governments, if they wish. They do not use this skill very often, as they have complete and total disdain for other races, not even wishing to conquer them. Combat is highly valued in Yuan-ti society and children have to brave the fiercest jungles on the planet alone and return with a kill to be considered adults. Because of this as well as their willingness to use whatever means necessary to fulfill a goal, Yuan-ti mercenaries are highly sought after and highly skilled. Even thought they are technologically advanced, many Yuan-ti warriors don't use advanced weapons but favor older and, in their eyes, more reliable weapons.

Religious Views: There are legends of ancient Yuan-ti deities but they have not been worshipped in thousands of years. Yuan-ti now believe that religion is nothing but a tool that let other species be manipulated and conquered.

History: For centuries, the Yuan-ti tribes were constantly at war with each other, leading to stunted technological growth until the Yeshnaks, lead by the first Yantar, gathered an army so powerful they nearly wiped all the other Yuan-ti out of existence. But instead of destroying them, Hesstash Yantar decided to bring them under his rule and unite the Yuan-ti. After a century of rebuilding and mistrust, the Yuan-ti finally accepted each other and their new rulers, bringing and unheard of era of peace to the newly named planet of Yantar. After that the planet exploded with technological advancements and new ideas, reaching out into the stars a matter of centuries after they were united. Their first contact with alien species did not go well, it started the first interplanetary war the Yuan-ti had ever conceived of. After decades of bloodshed and ruthless violence, the Yuan-ti were victorious and Maktas Yantar decided that the price was too high and other races too foul to continue conquering the galaxy. Thus, the Yuan-ti helped rebuild the civilization they nearly destroyed and took the stance of diplomacy with all other aliens they encountered, using their intelligence and deceptive charm to make a place for themselves among the shadows of the most powerful governments.

Appearance: Hessta is a huge specimen even for the Yuan-ti. When he stands at his full height he reaches almost 9 feet tall and is very muscular. He weighs over 300 pounds but it is obviously muscle. He has a tiny red tattoo on the back of his neck, but he never lets anyone close enough to see it clearly, but to those who have seen it from a distance, it looks a little like a cobra. His scales are a dark green that looks like black in the right light and his dark grey eyes always glint with cold intelligence.

Apparel: Hessta wears a shirt that is made of a resistant material which can help absorb blows from energy weapons as well as a leather belt with pouches he keeps small trinkets in (ID, money, weapons)

Weaponry: Hessta wields two large scimitars made of a special alloy that gives them extra resilience and strength. The scimitars are engraved with characters in the Yuan-ti language and he never lets them out of his sight. He also carries a single energy pistol that he rarely ever uses.

Other: While Hessta holds the same disdain for other species as the rest of his kind, he does show kindness to other races from time to time.

Starfighter: Hessta's starfighter is of a simple design, only holding four people at maximum. It is heavily armored and he has put many weapons on it but it is also exceptionally fast. Hessta calls it the Shuriken.

Skills/Abilities: Hessta is a very adept fighter and because of his serpent heritage, has very quick reflexes and can heal quickly, shedding his skin if the injury is very severe. He speaks multiple languages and can repair almost any damage that comes to his ship. His greatest strength, due to the dark color of his scales and his silent way of moving, is stealth, being able to go undetected in a variety of situations. His sense of smell is more advanced than most humans and can detect heat using his forked tongue. He can interrogate effectively and knows how to think quickly and decisively in a fight. He has spent many years as an intergalactic mercenary so his natural ruthlessness has been refined as well as his other skills, such as tracking and negotiation.

Word-of-Mouth: Hessta Kerso is a well known name in certain circles, his record as a mercenary is impeccable and impressive. He has done a lot of work for both Strattix Inc. and Blastex Industries, as well as the Federation and the Republic of Corvais, leading to him having quite a bit of money at a given time. Most other mercenaries know that if he is on a job, you're better off staying as far out of his way as you can. No one knows about his past before he became a mercenary at age 20 and he keeps his life on Yantar a very close secret. He recently did a job for Gortex and the word on the street is that it did not end well for Hessta.
So what's wrong with my character? I don't want to break any rules or anything...
Okay, is my character okay? I only ask because I wanted her mom to be a mage so she would have at least a little training. And does this mean that the history for my and Falconi's character needs to be changed?
