Current I just came back to put my character sheets in a place where I'll find them easy. Trying to keep track of them all is...annoying to say the least.

(OOC: Pardon my confusion then. I knew it required woodwork, I just didn't know about the string part. I thought they used extremely fine cotton or something similar.)

"I do have other things that I do other than song and dance. Why stick to only one profession for your main source of income?" Alex retorted, still keeping a smile on her face. She continued playing and let out a sigh when her thumb hit a knot in the neck of her lute. "Well, it's about time to finally break down and buy a new one...." she had spoken too soon...the strings had broken just as she managed one last strum. She let out several swears and held her hands up to the small crowd around her. "Sorry friends, I'll try again in a week or so, it all depends on when I get a new lute." she said to the crowd and picked up her lute and started walking away from her spot. She muttered to herself and pulled the strap back over her shoulder, the instrument resting on her back as the strings dangled haplessly, broken clean in two.
Ah shit sorry. I did that after loading a shitload of steel onto a truck so I was just trying to get it done.

Morana began to accelerate her movements, feeling the rhythm in the music inside her bones. Swaying and moving her legs she moved sinuously. While her bare feet slapped the cobblestone she used the time to think. A minstrel unconcerned with money? That nearly boggled Morana's mind. As a gypsy she had travelled in exactly such a fashion, from town to town, with her people. They were greatly concerned with coin. Boots needed mending, clothes needed darning, and a thousand other small details. Even taking a bath cost coin. Certainly a wandering troubadour received free food and lodging at inns but those small details were expensive. What happened when her lute needed to be stringed or replaced? No, she'd never heard of a minstrel that turned down coin. This made Morana wary. Maybe the girl had a wealthy patron, maybe she was another spoiled daughter of a noble house with too much time on her hands?

"Besides, why squeeze coin from people who do not have it?" Alice asked as she played. Her fingers working along the handcarved neck of the lute, still playing that jovial tune that the gypsy infront of her had requested. Stringing and replacing her lute wasn't an issue for her, she knew how to make a lute and how to string it, so that saved her quite abit. Especially in rough times, which she was in the middle of one, but it never bothered her abit. "Heh...you remind me so much of an old friend back when I traveled with the gypsy caravans to learn everything I know. She was always concerned with coin." she spoke softly, in remembrance, failing to remember her friend's name.
It's fake isn't it? Yep. Why would it be brought? It's spam. And it's nat. That sounds normal to me.
Alice smiled softly and slowly increased her tempo and pitch, keeping silent as she just strummed away, a jovial rhythm ringing out. She didn't sing, nor hum. She just kept strumming as she watched the beautiful gypsy woman dance infront of her. She smiled and replied gleefully, "Because I don't need coin to do what I do here. It's satisfying to just see people listening all at once to something other than a royal speech." She clearly didn't care about gold, nor popularity for that matter, so she played whatever was on her mind, and watching the gypsy woman dance made her start playing a relaxing, yet mysterious rhythm, working her fingers expertly along the neck of her lute.
I may be interested. I may have also forgotten what the color 'Up' looks like.
