So this week absolutely sucks. Currently on day 3 of being sick and stuck in bed. Sorry for any delays, I'll get back to everyone once I'm better.

So, hello all, I'm Shi. I've been participating in play-by-post roleplays for the past 8 years, though I did just come back from a break. If I'm working with you and go silent for more than a week without any explanation or heads up please send me a message and call me out on it. (Check my status if this happens. I leave most of these warnings there now.) I honestly just lose the motivation to write a lot...or forget to give a warning and then feel super guilty and put off replying longer.
On a better note; I just recently completed college and my schedule has opened up for the first time in years. Unlike before I am no longer balancing school, work, and life.

Hey, whatever gets those creative juices flowing, right? I love The Avengers, Sherlock, and Labyrinth! Haven't seen the other three, though. I'll have to look them up sometime... if I remember, anyway.
Well, I'm glad to hear that. I like to be conversational every now and again, so that works out well. At least you're getting that done. How many roleplays have/do you need to get caught up on?
I have eight current roleplays on this site and two on another, I only have two more to catch up with seeing as I finished the other eight last night.
That's cool. I've never really been capable of getting into fanfiction. Glad you enjoy it, though. What do you usually base those off of?

Honestly I've based a lot of them off of TV shows and movies. Just to name a few examples; FMA, Hellsing Ultimate, Hetalia, Avengers, Sherlock, and Labyrinth. Most are just for fun and I usually merely send them to my friends or keep them as inspiration for other things.
No, I actually enjoy having a proper conversation every now and then. This is a pleasant reprieve from all the catch up I've been doing today.
I would totally read the series based off this if you wrote and published it.
I know how writer's block feels. Ugh. Though I think my main issue is procrastination. Ha. How many novels have you started on, if I may ask?
If I ever get anywhere with it I'll make sure to give you a heads up.
I have five original novels that I have started, one being some excerpts from the collector. I also write some fanfiction but I don't consider those my novels seeing as they aren't fully my idea.
Also, I've been kinda dissatisfied with how I've been using Conna'Cel. I feel like there's next to no room for improvement for him. I'm thinking about killing him off or something eventually and replacing him with a new character, assuming that is alright, of course.
That is completely up to you but run the new character by me and Windle before you go through with killing the robot.
There might be ways to improve him though... maybe something could happen where some fuses go loose that messes with his prim and proper robotic nature. I could always have Rosaline mess up a spell since she's drained currently and it backfires, hits Conna'cel, and it changes him somehow...like into a cyborg or completely human. I'm sure we can think up some possibilities.
Nice! That's cool that you write (or used to write) poetry. I can see why you liked that particular portion.
I still write poetry, just not as much as I used to. I'd much rather write my novels, or try to at least.. I have lengthy bouts of writers block quite often and so my books go unfinished. I'm actually planning on writing about the Collector eventually, though a lot of things will change to avoid using other people's ideas and characters...that's only if I ever get to writing the two book series I hope to write about it.
