Saya is an average sized dragon. Her overall height from head to toe is about 895 cm and she measures about 1658 cm in total length. The wingspan is approximately 1838 cm wide and she weighs about 15 tons. The scale color is a very light blue, sometimes it looks like it’s almost white.

In her human form, Saya is about 167 cm tall and weighs about 56 kg which is all quite average among human females. Deriving from her dragon appearance, Saya’s hair color is blue and so are her eyes. She wears her long hair that goes down to her hips down or ties them up in a ponytail.
When not on duty, Saya wears comfortable fitting pants and loose long sleeved shirts. Her leather boots go up her lower legs. When Saya is on duty she of course wears the uniform.

When Saya is on duty she of course wears the uniform.Generally, Saya has an easy-going personality. She is also quite polite and likes to discover new things. Since Saya is still young and has mostly lived underground, so there are a lot of things that she does not know yet. However, she does not like to show too much care about things that are important to her, since she is scared of losing those. That is why you can mostly see her smiling and being happy. Sometimes she is even quite energetic and sarcastic. But you barely ever see her being sad. She can get angry easily, though. At the same time she can be quite clumsy and has a talent of breaking things.
After being sent to infiltrate the humans she is somewhat torn between trying to stay optimistic and fun loving and trying to maintain a mature, quiet personality as the older sister to Shiki. It is not as easy as she first thought, though. There are still so many things for her to learn that she is easily fascinated by the human world like her brother. But Saya can hide her fascination better, because she does not trust the humans and does not want to let them know too much about herself. Sometimes she is even a little bit arrogant when being around humans. However, Saya still knows to apologize if she is at fault.
Saya and her broodmates only got to know for a short time how it feels like having parents. Not even two years after they hatched did the parents die. Even though Saya cannot remember too much of her early years, she does remember the feeling of her parents love and losing someone important to her. As she grew older Saya heard a lot of stories about the Draken-Hume War and other terrifying things that happened to the dragons. Listening to all those terrible things made her sad and distrusting both dragons and humans. But she is a dragon after all, so she is influenced by the negative feelings towards the humans.
When Shiki finally hatched, Saya gained new hope that there are also a lot of good things happening in life. She loves her little brother and is a lot more lively when she is around him. That is also why Saya was very happy to know that they should infiltrate the humans together. At the same time, to her it is an opportunity to hear the other side of the story about the Daken-Hume War. Even if she is proud to be a dragon, Saya finds it important to get know a different way to look at the past.
Saya has a magical staff she can practice magic spells with. It can also be used as a stick to hit her opponents directly. The staff is made out of a very tough and heavy material. Due to her dragon physiology she can handle it pretty well. It was actually not meant to be used by any one yet, especially not by a young recruit for the Wallguard. But Saya accidentally broke two other weapons she got at first and received this staff by chance when an officer was looking for something more durable and found it laying under various other old weapons that were forgotten and have not been used for ages.
Shapeshifting: This is a magic spell that has been taught to Saya and her broodmate prior to going above ground. This spell allows them to transform certain body parts or the entire body between a Human Form and their natural Dragon Form at will and without any sort of incantation.
Saya barely uses this spell since it is too dangerous to be used when being around humans. She only uses it from time to time when she is all alone and thinking about the others back at home.
Dagon Physiology: Like other dragons, Saya’s physical strength, senses, speed and durability are much higher than that of a human. But that is also why she needs more energy input than humans. This way she can also fight well at a close range even though she is more of a far range fighter.
Water and Ice Manipulation:
Being a Water Dragon, Saya can manipulate water and also managed to manipulate ice, even though that is not too easy for her and she still needs a lot of practice. Generally, Saya manages well at practicing the basic attacks with her element and change the viscosity of liquids. In her human form she can walk on water, cut things with water. Other than that she has not yet developed any special attacks of which others might be surprised to see.
Various healing spells:
Since Saya is a “Water Dragon” her attributes makes it easy for her to use healing spells, which is also why she is a member of the Magic Brigade. Ever since she learned to use magic she was fascinated by the possibilities you had with the spells. And she know how important those healing spells are which is why she practices them a lot.
Defending spells:
Like others in the Magic Brigade, Saya knows the basic defending spells such as creating a barrier or other blocking spells. With her water element she enhances the basic spells to create more durable barriers.
Ice shield:
Being able to create ice shields that cover parts of her body Saya can block minor attacks at close range combat.
Dragon Shout:
Saya only know how to use this technique at its basic level. She has yet to figure out how to process the energy into the core of her element.
Scatter Shot:
From either her hand or staff she can release water blasts that split into tiny fragments like needles. Mostly she uses her staff for that. She can also increase the density of the shots so that the needles hit the target like bullets.
- Saya loves trying human dishes as they have so many different ways to prepare the meals.
- She enjoys testing different techniques she can pull off with her water element. Even if it just creating animal shaped water figures for fun.
- Being a member of the Magic Brigade and responsible for healing the wounded, Saya always carries some medical supplies like the other members.
