[Shiny Keldeo]

Welcome! If you're reading this, than you decided to drop by for a visit and check out my profile! If not, then why are you still reading this right now?

The name's Keldeo, Shiny Keldeo. I joined the Guild about a two years ago after my first forum fizzled out. I thought I knew what I was doing with Roleplay when I came on the scene, when in reality I had barely scratched the surface of what I had to learn.

My first few RPs went bust, but with each failure I gained valuable experience to learn from, and eventually I started up a fairly successful RP known as Digimon: As the Lights Fade. However, it eventually went bust as over half the RPers, including my Co-GM, poofed and dropped without much warning.

Then came two of my longest running RPs. Pokemon: Legendary Guardians and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Shadows of the Past. Both were filled with great characters and I made a ton of new RP friends in them. Sadly, too many problems arose in both, and I was forced to shut them down.

I wasn't done with Legendary Guardians, however, and rebooted it to try my hand at it once more. So far, it's still going strong, thanks to dedicated people like Ninian and Light Lord, who've helped it stay alive through it all. I'm still not done yet, there's still more creative genius in me waiting to be tapped into!

Roleplay Information

I like to stick to Casual mostly. I've never tried anything in Advanced, but I just can't do anything in Free. I like to include way more dialog and information in my posts than I can post in Free.

I usually prefer to RP with Multiple Characters. It's easier for me to say more and do more, whether that being a Digidestined with a Digimon, a Pokemon Trainer with their Pokemon, or multiples of either.

Speaking of which, there are several subjects to which I usually work with in RP. The biggest being Pokemon. I'm up for (almost) anything, Mystery Dungeon, Ranger, or just being a normal Trainer is completely fine with me. Other interests include Digimon, Star Wars, and various other subjects that would be too numerous to name here.

A lone Frigimon lay in wait, mere feet away from the humans and traitors. He prepared to strike while he still had the element of surprise when...

*WHACK*

Everything went black. The Frigimon fell to the ground with a thud. Dracomon landed a few feet away. "See, I told you something was up!" He said as the others finally caught up. "Dracomon... will you not... just run off... like that..." Said Dorumon between gasping breaths. The two humans were a bit less out of breath. "What is he?" Asked Luna, looking at the unconscious Digimon.

"That's a Frigimon. He's one of Mammothmon's Soldiers." Said Dracomon. "Let's see what he was about to attack..." He said, sticking his nose through the bushes until he could see through the other side. "Hey guys, look!" He said. The others promptly stuck their heads through the bushes, finding a small group of humans and digimon on the other side. "There are more humans here? Hey, you guys, this way!" Said Dustin, waving his arm through the bushes.
Fuse the Luxio
[Folio Town - Glyph's Guild: Dining Hall]

The Luxio somewhat mindlessly walked with Letho down to the Dining Hall. Before they went in he semi-shook himself out of the daze he was in and put on a brave face for his associates. The two took their seats at the table. Fuse didn't really pay much attention to Letho after that. He put a few morsels on his plate and attempted to eat, but the thoughts in his head kept coming forward. It came to the point where, at a point where everyone seemed distracted, he excused himself, plate still half filled.

He made his way through the now slumbering center of town and headed for the outskirts, finally ending his short walk at the Observation Platform. And there he sat, or more so laid, just looking over the vast desert that surrounded the trunk yet again. Another memory from the past, much farther back...

Ligero the Shinx and Hikari the Shinx
[Unknown - Luxray Clan]

The two were playing around near the outskirts, a playful wrestling match. After a few minutes of rolling around in the dirt, the two finally gave up the match and just laid there laughing happily. "Hey, Ligero? Do you ever wonder what it'll be like when we're grown up?" Asked Hikari, Ligero smiling. "Not really. Only thing I know is that someday I'll be the leader of the clan like Stormer is." He replied.

Hikari looked slightly concerned. "Do you think... we'd ever change... our friendship I mean..." She said, Ligero shaking his head. "No way, we'll always be friends, nothing can happen that will break that up." He said, looking around he spotted a small pink flower. "Here, this'll be proof of it. I swear, that only if that flower dies will our friendship end." He said proudly and confidently. Hikari would slowly put the flower in her hair. "It's a deal!"

He never broke that promise, either. Not from the day he gave her that flower, to the day he evolved, to the day he set out on his ill-fated quest. To this day he wonders if that flower had wilted since he'd been gone. He wondered what really had changed. If Stormer still led the clan, if all his old friends were still there. Maybe one day...

Selena the Bayleaf and Leanne the Meganium
[Folio Town - Far Eastern Residential District]

"Now, Protect is one of the best moves to have to help, well, protect your friends. Barely anything can get past the shield it creates, but a few moves and Pokemon can. Keep that in mind..." Said Leanne as she tutored Selena on defensive strategies. A voice behind her caught her by surprise as she turned and saw a blue Kirlia and a Totodile.

"Devon, Lilisette!" Said Selena, quite happily. "Oh, so these are your new friends, Selena?" Asked Leanne. "Mhm!" She replied. The Meganium turned and walked over to them. "Well, then I'm happy to meet you. What is it you want to talk about?" She asked, turning her head somewhat curiously.
Brute the Venusaur
[Folio Town - Far Eastern Residential District]

Brute finally refocused on the topic at hand. "Oh, the dancers. Haven't seen 'em myself, I... don't go out much... not after I hurt my back down in the trunk. Had to quit Guild Work 'cause of it too, and nobody's gonna see 'ole Brute sitting behind no desk." He said. "I'm sorry, I keep rambling about the past... well, to be honest, I'm not the one you have to convince."

He looked over his shoulder through a window that looked over their 'backyard'. "Leanne... Selena's mother... she's the one you'll have to convince. She's protective of Selena, maybe you kids can convince her to let her grow on her own for a while. I don't know, but if getting to go to this party thing is so important to you, you have my approval, but you need Leanne's." He finished, stepping aside as the ground slightly trembled from his footsteps.
Brooks
[Route 701 - Pokemon Center]

The little water type gave a sharp reply before firing it's next attack at point blank range. Both trainer and Pokemon know there would be no time to dodge, even with Noivern's incredible speed. At least at the level they were battling. "Spin!" Yelled Brooks, Noivern breaking into a swift spiral as the attack hit. Smoke filled the air as Noivern went flying into the ground, causing more dust to fly.

"Not bad Devon. I may have underestimated you a little bit. But now I can see the full extent of your real power, the trust you share with your Pokemon. That's what makes such a bond like that possible. But it's not over yet, not by a long shot. Let's go, Noivern." He said with undying confidence in his voice. It couldn't be mistaken for cockyness or overconfidence, it was the sheer trust between Brooks and his Pokemon, the solid tone of his voice told the listeners he spoke the truth.

And sure enough, as the dust and smoke cleared, Noivern was still standing. Although lightly damaged, Noivern stood firm and was clearly far from defeated. <Uh oh. It's been a long time since he's talked like that. You're about to hit the next level.> Noivern said, looking to it's trainer. "Right. Let's kick it up a notch. Get on the offensive, Air Slash!" He called out, Noivern jumping up into the air with astonishing speed it hadn't showed off before, then sending several bright blue slashes towards the blue mouse.
Frigimon
[Affiliation: The Digital Army]
[Digital World - Sector 14]

The Snowmen continued to move closer and closer to the small child Digimon. When he verbally surrendered, the Digimon looked at each other before raising their arms. "Sorry, kid. We have our orders. You should have stayed out of this all." One of them said. The others all moved their arms backwards, looking like they were ready to punch the air in front of them. Every smart Digimon knew this would be Frigimon's signature attack, the Sub Zero Ice Punch. And with that many of them, the future looked bleak for the lone Digimon.

Mammothmon
[Affiliation: The Digital Army]
[Digital World - Sector 14]

After leaving his minions to deal with the traitor, Mammothmon made his way towards the Polaris Lakes, where more of his Frigimon were to have the Humans surrounded. He finally found the lead Frigimon. "They're out there, on that big lake. If we go storming out there, sir, that ice won't stand, and we'll all get one freezing end." He said, Mammothmon nodding. "Let's get them off the ice and somewhere we can trap them easily."

Frigimon nodded, and began relaying the message to everyone else. They all understood what do do. One by one the Frigimon begain firing their Sub Zero Ice Punches into the air, causing it to become even colder, and a slight freezing wind to pick up. Then Mammothmon kicked it up a notch. "Tundra Breath!" He called just out of earshot of the humans and Digimon, causing the wind to pick up even more.

[Digital World - Polaris Village

Nearby, near Polaris Village, Dracomon could hear Mammothmon's cry. He froze, not from cold, but from knowing that Mammothmon would only be attacking if there were humans or Resistance Members around. But as far as he knew, the Resistance had no control this far out. So it had to be more humans. "Did you hear that? That was Mammothmon again, and he's attacking someone! We have to go help whoever that is!" Dracomon said, immediately turning and running towards the cry. "Dracomon!" Yelled everyone as they started after him.
Brooks
[Route 701 - Pokemon Center]

The Marill had surprising speed as it blasted off with Aqua Jet just moments before the Steel Wing would have connected. Though surprising, he was prepared to adapt. "Noivern, 180 turn, meet it head on!" The veteran trainer commanded, Noivern quickly slowing and stopping its momentum before turning around on a dime and blasting back towards the Water/Fairy Type with Steel Wing still ready to go.

<You're not bad, kid. Haven't met many Marill who can move like that. You've got some decent moves, but that only gets you so far.> Noivern said to Cyan as it took off with incredible speed towards the airborne water mouse.
Fuse the Luxio
[Folio Town - Folio Guild: Glyph's Office]

After Fuse finished his tale, he slipped into a deep thought. He wondered if he should have told Glyph about Hikari, the fact that the two knew who she was, and how much she meant to him. He sat there with his eyes closed, as a memory of the past played through his head...

Ligero the Luxio
[Unknown - Luxray Clan]

It was finally time for his right of passage. It seemed simple enough. The Manectric Clan had stolen one of their sacred relics from their village in a raid a long before. As his right of passage into adulthood, he had been assigned the task of recovering this stolen relic. Before him stood the leader of their clan, a powerful Luxray named Stormer.

"Now, Ligero, you must not fail in this task. To succeed would mean being accepted as an adult, a protector, of our clan. To fail... I won't say for now." He said, looking upon the young Luxio. "Now, go Ligero. But be cautious. It is a dangerous world outside of our land's borders. You have no idea what awaits you out there. You have your supplies, and your brain. Use both well, and learn." He finished, stepping aside.

Ligero said nothing. He started taking his first steps into the outside world. The world beyond the boundaries of the land they lived on. He took one last look back as he started over the dunes of the vast desert ahead of him. He flashed a smile at one of his closest friends, Hikari, still a Shinx. She still had a ways to go before her right of passage. She had much youth ahead of her, even bearing a pink flower in her hair that he had picked for her. Now it was time to say goodbye, for what he thought would be only a couple of weeks. That span turned into months. Soon... over a year...

His attention was roused when he felt the shadow imp poke his ear. He turned and listened distantly as Letho spoke to him. "Yeah... right... okay, yeah. Let's go..." He said, his thoughts continuing to drift between the past and present.

Brute the Venasaur
[Folio Town - Eastern Residential District]

As the Totodile answered, and the Kirlia remained silent and seemed quite nervous, the Venusaur spoke. "Oh, so you're the other members of Team Horizon, are you? Nice to meet you, then." He said. When Devon said they wanted to bring her to a party, he scoffed. "Party? Back in my day, we didn't have parties unless we discovered something completely out of this world! You should have seem the place after we came back from our greatest expedition to date..." He began to babble now about an Expedition he was a part of back in the day where they really made a name for the Folio Guild.
Fuse the Luxio
[Folio Town - Glyph's Guild: Glyph's Office]

Fuse finally stopped pacing once he heard the footsteps, and looked over as the oak door opened wide, and the Guildmaster and Letho walked through. He followed them over to the desk where Letho gave the brief summary of what happened. Glyph, being who he was, wanted to know everything possible about the event.

"Well... let's start from the beginning." He said, beginning to retell every event he could remember from that day. "...Not even to mention the little hard head didn't have a clue about what he was looking for..."

He moved onto as they first arrived at the Waypoint. "...Karaha and the other Aron, Petra, split off from us there, wherever Karaha was going..."

Then he recounted their encounter with Rin the Roserade. "...Rin gave us a clue to follow up on, and I do hope that our encounter doesn't strain any relations we might have had with the Manifest..."

Finally he recounted the Battle at the Waypoint. "...That winged Gardevoir, she did have a Greninja with her. Called him Genji, I think. They seemed to know Gren, Letho, and me... but they didn't mention Breeze. After they nabbed Gren, we put up a small fight, we pulled out all the stops... but we got stomped. Not in battle, but in strategy. The freaks managed to escape with the poor kid. After that, we Orb'd out of the Waypoint and headed back here." He finished.

He didn't say anything about the Winged Gardevoir talking about Hikari. He didn't want to believe that she really knew something about the future. Hikari was his secret, one he didn't want revealed just yet.

Selena the Bayleaf & Family
[Folio Town - Far Eastern Residential District]

After dinner, Leanne had taken Selena out back for lessons in healing, to prepare her for her role as a Guild Member. Brute stayed inside, and was casually reading in the living room. Then he heard a knock at the door. It wasn't loud, but it sounded hard. He got to his feet and one could almost feel the ground shake as the massive form headed across the room to the door. With a Vine Whip he casually opened the door. What he saw at his feet were a blue Kirlia and a Totodile.

"Hmm... you kids shouldn't be out this late... if Folio Town still had a curfew you two would have gotten a stern talking to. Anyways... what brings you two to this neck of the woods... or tree..." He said with a low, grumbly voice.
