[Shiny Keldeo]

Welcome! If you're reading this, than you decided to drop by for a visit and check out my profile! If not, then why are you still reading this right now?

The name's Keldeo, Shiny Keldeo. I joined the Guild about a two years ago after my first forum fizzled out. I thought I knew what I was doing with Roleplay when I came on the scene, when in reality I had barely scratched the surface of what I had to learn.

My first few RPs went bust, but with each failure I gained valuable experience to learn from, and eventually I started up a fairly successful RP known as Digimon: As the Lights Fade. However, it eventually went bust as over half the RPers, including my Co-GM, poofed and dropped without much warning.

Then came two of my longest running RPs. Pokemon: Legendary Guardians and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Shadows of the Past. Both were filled with great characters and I made a ton of new RP friends in them. Sadly, too many problems arose in both, and I was forced to shut them down.

I wasn't done with Legendary Guardians, however, and rebooted it to try my hand at it once more. So far, it's still going strong, thanks to dedicated people like Ninian and Light Lord, who've helped it stay alive through it all. I'm still not done yet, there's still more creative genius in me waiting to be tapped into!

Roleplay Information

I like to stick to Casual mostly. I've never tried anything in Advanced, but I just can't do anything in Free. I like to include way more dialog and information in my posts than I can post in Free.

I usually prefer to RP with Multiple Characters. It's easier for me to say more and do more, whether that being a Digidestined with a Digimon, a Pokemon Trainer with their Pokemon, or multiples of either.

Speaking of which, there are several subjects to which I usually work with in RP. The biggest being Pokemon. I'm up for (almost) anything, Mystery Dungeon, Ranger, or just being a normal Trainer is completely fine with me. Other interests include Digimon, Star Wars, and various other subjects that would be too numerous to name here.

As Tinuviel finally joined their group, Fumi regained her composure as they prepared to set out. "That's good to hear, Tinuviel. We've gotta get moving quickly if we're going to make it back by nightfall." Aika explained, showing him the path plotted on their Wonder Map. "We'll take the same route down and back. If everything goes well, we'll have Lena home in time for dinner." She finished, storing the map back in her bag.

"Alright, enough chit chatting! Let's go Aika, Tin'!" She said, abbreviating the Noibat's name both for quickness and the fact that she could barely pronounce it. As she took the lead, Aika took a moment to clear things up. "That's Fumi for you... well, we don't want to be left behind. It'll definitely be interesting, we've never really worked with another Guild Member other than our team before. We'll all do our best though, I'm sure." She said before following after her Grass Type Teammate.

The Buizel seemed to calm down somewhat now, going as far to give her name and inquire about the Village itself. "Ah. Well, Mermes, many years ago, before your time, a great war raged across the globe, against an evil so terrible even the Legendary Pokemon were unable to stop it alone. The war lasted for years, and many Pokemon lost their lives in more ways than one." Luna began, beckoning the Buizel to follow as she began to guide the group around the Village. "When the war was finally over, many Pokemon were still afraid, and there was much to do to bring the world back into a state of peace and order."

She took a moment to stop before the Founders Fountain in the center of the plaza before continuing. "In order to help those Pokemon find peace, a group of veterans from the war built a Village on the spot where the Final Battle was waged, not just to signify their victory against the evil, but as a sign of hope for the future so such a terrible conflict would never arise again." She sighed. "Over time the Village grew and grew, as more Pokemon rallied behind the cause, until it became what it is today." She finished, motioning to the world around her.

"Not everything should be feared, for the more you fear something, the more it can affect your life." She explained, taking a moment to sense the aura of Mermes. "Interesting... you have a unique spark of curiosity, though more often than not it is hidden behind a shell of fer and insecurity..." She said to herself once more before setting her gaze on the Water Type again. "The crowds... they make you nervous, right? Why don't we head to one of the most tranquil parts of the village? In fact, that's where I was going to conduct these two's training session." She asked, Scarlet and Wade talking amongst themselves.

"Guildmaster Luna is definitely one of the kindest Pokemon I've ever met. She's willing to help anyone, anytime." Scarlet said, Wade nodding. "Yeah, and this time I can't complain. It was kind of interesting to actually learn about the history of this place." He admitted. "It's definitely a contrast to Guildmaster Spirit... he focuses on strength and discipline while..." Wade started. "... Guildmaster Luna focuses on compassion and teamwork. They're like two sides of the same Poke'." She finished.
@Floodtalon Only thing I have a real complaint about is the last part of the history. At this point, there's just a lot of rumors and speculation that Mewtwo could return at any moment. And that info has been kept somewhat hush hush among Guild Higherups, though obviously some things will leak out often.

Other than that, I see a lot of potential with this char.
@UmbreonRogue You're up.

@Stale Pizza You still here? Or you poof?

Within minutes the duo had gathered the necessary supplies for their cross-continent trip, and were now patiently waiting for their third party to arrive. "Are you sure about this? We barely know anything about him, and he's newer than we are." Aika voiced her concern, Fumi giving a smile in reply. "Hey, wasn't too long ago we were kinda in the same boat. The Guild helped us, now we can pass it on. Let's give him a chance at least."

Aika nodded, pulling a Wonder Map from her Treasure Bag. "I think I've got a good course plotted. First we'll go through Tranquil Forest. It isn't a Mystery Dungeon, so we should be fine. After that we'll have to go through Mount Bristle, then through Oran Forest, and finally Grean Meadow. After that, just a bit more walking and we should be at Treasure Town by Lunch Time." She said, Fumi jumping up rather pumped. "Great! Then there shouldn't be any problems! No as soon as what's his name gets here we can get started!" She finished.

Hiryu the Charizard and Riptide the Samurott
[Team Wildfire]
[Valiant Village - Central Plaza]

It was clear their words did little to ease the newcomer's nerves. As she explained her purpose in coming, Riptide would give a somewhat disappointing answer. "If that is why you came here, then I'm afraid you might be disappointed." He said, Hiryu sighing as he picked up where he left off. "Yeah, while some Guilds like Wigglytuff's down south come up with all kinds of treasure and rarities, 'most everything we get here goes to the village."

As Hiryu tried to find a silver lining to the situation, a familiar voice spoke up. "Hiryu, Riptide, is something wrong? Should't you be getting ready?" Asked Luna, as she came up with Wade and Scarlet from Team Rhythm. "Oh, Guildmaster Luna. No, not exactly. We were just trying to help... her..." He explained, pointing down to the nearly shaking Buizel.

"I see... I can sense what lies beneath that nervous exterior..." She said to herself before bending down to be somewhat on eye level with the Water Type. "There's no need to be afraid or nervous here. This is a place of peace and harmony. I am Luna, one of the Guildmasters of the Valiant Village Guild." She said in a soft caring tone, then looking up to Team Flashforce. "I can handle this from here. You two better hurry, Riot will be waiting."

"Yes, Guildmaster." Riptide said plainly. "R-Right. We gotta grab that stuff from the Kecleon Market. Let's go partner." Hiryu replied, the two hurrying off into the crowd. "Now... Wade, Scarlet, you're okay with our lesson starting later than usual, right?" She asked, the two Pokemon with her nodding. "Good. Well then, would you like to have us show you around? Knowing your surroundings might help ease your tension." She asked with the same tone as before.

Omen the Absol, Serenity the Sylveon, and Krystal the Glaceon
[Team Sanctuary]
[Valiant Village - Guild]

Her words went unanswered, as the Normal Type kept his gaze on the board ahead of him. Serenity was slightly saddened that he'd practically refused her kindness, sighing as she heard a voice pop into her head.

"Omen and Serenity of Team Sanctuary, Guild Master Spirit requests your presence in his office."

The Guild Master wanted to speak with the two of them. She looked over her shoulder to see Omen already on the move. "I wonder what's going on..." She said as she passed her sister. "What are you talking about?" Krystal asked as Serenity stopped. "Spirit wants to see me and Omen. Just... wait here till we get back, alright little sister?" She said, Krystal drawing a frown on her face and pouting somewhat. "Alright... I always get left out of the good stuff..." She complained, Serenity shaking her head as she followed her partner towards the Guildmaster's Office.

The two barely noticed the arrival of the Minccino next to them, as the Noibat agreed to help them with their mission. The two shared a glance at his response before they spoke. "Alright, then. This is the mission we'll be going on." Fumi said, showing the Job Bulletin to the grounded bat. "Melody is the Village Healer. Her daughter, Lena, is everything to her. We've gotta get her home safe." Aika explained.

After letting Tinuviel have enough time to read over the job description, Fumi rolled it up and stored it away in her Treasure Bag. "Alright, we just have to grab a few things before we go. If you want to come with us, it's fine. Otherwise you can just meet us at the Town Gate in a couple minutes." Fumi said, Aika nodding as the two headed for the main exit.

As the room cleared even more, Omen and his team took notice of the small Minccino looking over the Job Board. "Who's he? I haven't seen him before." Asked Krystal, looking at the others. "Me either, haven't seen him in town either. Might be new." Omen replied, Serenity sighing. "If that's the case, we might as well say hello and see if we can help." She said, hopping down from her seat as she headed towards the Job Board casually.

As she stood next to the Job Board, she tried to start up a little conversation. "Hey, new here? You look just a little lost, I might be able to help." She said, giving a sincere smile as she turned to the small Normal Type.

Seeing the skittish Water Type's reaction, Hiryu dropped down lightly behind her. "Easy, he was just kidding about that squash thing... I think..." He said, looking over to Riptide. "Don't you worry, you're safe here in Valiant Village. I'm Hiryu, that's Riptide. We're Team Wildfire of the Valiant Village Guild." He said, motioning to his partner. "You certainly don't look like one for crowds, what brings you to the center of town?" Riptide asked.

Sierra Hymn
Fennekin, Deerling
[Vertigo City - Luminous Park]

After a short walk from the Contest Hall, the two trainers found themselves in a small park located on what most residents referred to as the Outer Rim of the city. Once out of the crowded hall and out into the open in a relatively low traffic area, Sierra visually relaxed as she took a seat at one of a few tables situated throughout the park. "Ah, I can finally hear myself think now..." She said, stretching slightly as she looked around.

"So, I never really asked you, where are you from?" She asked, looking over to Sonya. "I'm from here in Viore, a city on the coast called Lilac City." She explained.

Luna Muuya and Bryce Crest
Luna's Party: Torrent the Popplio, Flake the Vulpix, Hound the Rockruff, Sola the Bounsweet
Bryce's Party: Moss the Swampert, Striker the Manectric, Maya the Flareon*
[Vertigo City - Pokemon Center]

Luna's Pokemon quickly caught sight of their trainer as she emerged from the inards of the center with Hound in her arms, quickly rushing to their trainer's feet. <If you'll excuse me...> Flake said to Silvally, who had remained silent since she had finished her words. As her team assembled at her feet, Sola was about to ask the question on everyone's mind when Luna smiled. "Don't worry, everyone. Hound's fine, he's just gotta take it easy for a while." She said.

Torrent rolled her eyes at the last comment. <Yeah, like that'll be possible. The guy never stops moving.> She remarked, Sola looking over to Flake. <At least he's okay, that's what matters. We can force him to take it easy... I think...> She said, not helping much to ease Flake's nerves.

"So, this is your team?" Bryce asked, Luna turning to him. "Yeah, they came with me all the way from Alola. I wouldn't go anywhere without them." She replied. Bryce looked down at Maya and Striker. "I know what you mean." He replied.

As Luna looked around the battlefield, she spotted Gladion on the far side. She waved over to him, but it seemed he didn't see her as he was focused on the device in his hands. "Well... what should I do now..." She pondered, pulling out Hound's Pokeball and returning the small Rock Type.

Maya and Striker, who had remained relatively quiet for the duration of the encounter, looked at each other. <Bryce sure is meeting a lot of nice trainers today. I haven't seen him this happy in ages.> Maya said, Striker nodding. <Maybe he'll finally find what he's been searching for here after all.> Striker replied. "A look around the city might not be too bad of an idea. I'm guessing you don't have too many large cities like this in Alola." Bryce suggested, Luna looking over to him. "Not like... this. I'd probably get lost before I made it down the street..." She admitted.

"Well, if you want, I could show you around a little. This is my first time in Vertigo myself, but I'm used to large cities." He offered, his Pokemon looking at each other for a moment. <Did he just...> <I think he did...> They conversed. "Really? Thank you... well guys, what do you say to a trip around the city?" She asked. <Sure, sounds like fun!> Torrent replied. <I'm fine with it. What about you, Flake?> Sola asked, Flake still in a somewhat depressed mood. She shook herself out of it when she realized she'd been asked something. <Oh, yeah, sure, let's go.> She finally replied.

With her Pokemon all in agreement, the two trainers and their teams headed out into the streets of Vertigo.
