Tokarev was leaning against the wall, casually talking with some of his teammates. They would be his comrades for the time being, so the least he could do was to break the ice with some of them.
*Clap* *Clap* "Alright, listen up!"
The room went silent, not that it was loud to begin with. Melnikov had come to brief them. Vadim, his focus on Melnikov, carefully listened to the briefing. After Melnikov finished, Vadim immediately walked over to his locker, right next to David's.
"This sounds too easy..."
Having put on his plate carrier and backpack, he picked up his helmet and ran his fingers over it, feeling a small trail of scratches and dents. Syria, 2016 - mine, 8 meters away. Easy or not, you have to be prepared for anything, thats part of the job description.
*SLAM*
Vadim put his helmet down and turned to Melnikov when he began answering David's & Serena's questions. When he left the room, Vadim put on his headset, turned to David and said:
"Somebody is stuck up."
Having said that, he put on his shades, grabbed his rifle with his right hand, barrel pointing up, and helmet with his left, with the half mask attached to it dangling below, and headed for the parking lot.

Bio: Vadim Tokarev was born on 1 July 1981 in Sverdlovsk, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union (now Yekaterinburg). When Vadim was 5, his father, a well respected VDV officer, died during the Soviet-Afghan War, forcing Vadim to grow up with just his mother.
His fathers death and the growing amount of terrorist attacks in the new Russian country during the 90s gave Vadim the desire to devote his life to the path of a soldier.
This path began with the Ryazan Higher Airborne Command School which Vadim entered in 1999, and graduated in 2004.
He applied to join the Spetsnaz GRU the same year, where his determination and perservance allowed him to complete the selection course and within six months he was assigned to his unit.
In his unit, Vadim was involved with the clearing of insurgent positions in the untamed mountains of Chechnya and Dagestan during the Second Chechen War and, a few years later, the seizure and destruction of bases that supplied the Georgian troops in South Ossetia during the Russo-Georgian War.
After the Georgian conflict, Vadim was sometimes sent back to the North Caucasus during anti-terror operations. The modernization of the Russian military brought Vadim’s unit access to better gear and higher-end equipment, such as UAVs that gave his side a bigger advantage over the Caucasus Emirate militants than during the Second Chechen War.
In 2013, Vadim accepted an offer to be transferred to the Special Operations Forces (SSO), a brand-new unit under direct control of the Armed Forces.
The unit’s first deployment was in 2014, during the Crimean Crisis, where it blockaded Ukrainian bases and seized the Crimean parliament building. As the key to the peaceful annexation of the Crimean Peninsula, the unit cemented its status as the most elite special purpose unit in the Russian Federation.
Because of this, Vadim has frequently found himself on deployments of both covert and overt nature, ranging from coordinating air strikes against ISIS in Syria, to assassinating warlords in Libya.

@Sifter Alright, if you got 18 years there will be something before the GRU right? @Xandrya As for you, colonel after 13 years? In army regulations you are eligible to be promoted to colonel 14 1/2 years after you were promoted to Lieutenant. I will wait for the bio but I already sense there could be a problem with a 30 year old having a OF-5 rank. @SifterIn case you want a customized design -snip-
Sorry that I haven't finished my CS yet, past days have been busy... I will try to finish it ASAP!
